Moon POV
I almost cringed when I saw the annoying dude, sitting at the dinning with mom and Khalid, and shit, I know I’m in for some shit. For fuck sake, what the heck is he doing here? I mean this early morning.
Letting out a scoff, I rolled my eyes, and walked over to them, maintaining a straight face. You wouldn’t want me smiling, would you?
“Good morning mother, good morning brother, morning.” I kissed mom’s hair, and went to give Khalid a side hug, as for Jack, I rolled my eyes at him, while he just smirked. With the look on his face, I know he’s up to something evil and annoying, but wrapping my head around it, is just sp fucking hard, but he better not try some shit with me, if he don’t want me hating him the more.
“Good morning dear, how was your night?” Mom smiled at me.
“It was fine mom.” I returned the smile, before glaring hard at Jack, who was still having a smirk on his face. For goodness sake, can’t he behave like someone that has sense for once? I’m so sick and tired of him, clinging around me every time, like he’s some guardian angel or some fucking guards. Urgh! I’m going to die from suffocation.
“Morning.” Khalid finally replied after a long silence, not raising his gaze to look at me. Well, I’m used to him, so there isn’t any big deal in that.
“Morning Moon, trust you had a lovely night rest? And how’s your health now?” Jack gave me a knowing smile, and I felt like punching him right on the face.
“Fine.” I forced a smile, to prevent mom from asking some questions, which I got no time for.
“I’m going now mom, see you later.” I leaned in and kissed her hair, before waving at Khalid, who only nodded his head.
“I actually came to pick you up Moon, you wouldn’t expect to drive in your health condition, it’s risky.” Jack said sweetly, like a gentleman he’s not. Heaven knows that I’m gonna end up killing this idiot if he don’t stay awsy from me.
“As you can see alpha Jack, I’m fine, and I can drive myself to…”
“Alpha Jack is right Moon, let hum take you to school, there’s no harm in that. You can’t drive in this health condition of yours. What if something bad happens to you on…”
“Mother I’ll be fine.” I cut mom in, getting pissed about the whole thing already. For fuck sake, why the heck does this young man, feel like the only thing to do this early morning, is to come to my house, and start frustrating me.
“I’m so going to kill you Jack!” I gritted my teeth, and grunt inwardly, as I mind linked him, while glaring daggers at him.
“I’m all yours mate, do whatever you want to do with me, but… safety first.” I heard his voice in my head, while giving me a warm and foolish smile.
“Screw you Jack! You’re not mine, neither am I yours, just stop this dreams of yours.” I rolled my eyes, as I mind linked him.
“That’s not a problem mate, future will tell. And by the day, you look so hot as always, and those sexy lips of yours, I wish I can be given a chance to have a taste of them, they’re so cute, and I’m sure they’ll taste like vanilla.” He winked at me, while still talking in my head.
I’m in for some shit, seriously.
“Cmon eat your food before it gets cold, I’ll go get your herb.” Mother said, as she stood up and pulled out a chair for me to sit on, and after I sat down, she walked away.
Khalid stood up as soon as I sat down, and that was when I realized that he was done eating. Oh shit! I’m gonna be left all alone with this jerk here, urgh! I feel like fainting.
“Brother can you take me to school please?” I whined, pouting my lips.
“I’m busy.” He said, walking away, not even giving me a glance. Gosh! He’s so annoying!
“You got nothing to worry about, you have me here.” He winked at me, as he said out to my hearing.
“I don’t need you Jack, stop frustrating me.” I banged my hands on the table, before standing up, and stormed out of the dinning room, not after giving him a deadly glare, and shit! He returned it with a smirk.
A few minutes later, we were on our way, driving to school. I kept gazing out of the window, burning in rage. Shit! I should’ve still stood my ground and take cab instead, his presence disgusts me.
“Do you hate me that much that I disgust you?” He glanced at me, and chuckled softly, before taking his attention to the road again.
“I’m happy you listened to my thoughts, and now you know you disgusts me, so can you leave me the hell alone, huh?” I half yelled, before looking out of the window again.
“You’re crazy Moon, and guess what, I think I’m developing feelings for you already.” His voice came on.
My heart flustered at the mention of that, but I tried to envelope it with a straight face. Though I’ve had many guys, saying that to me, but I never felt anything, so why the heck did his own made my heart flustered?
“Don’t keep your hopes too high Jack, I don’t give a shit about you, and never will.” I rolled my eyes.
“I love watching drama, so I think I’ll be getting on your nerves henceforth, to see that beautiful frown on your face. You look sexy when you smile, and fuck! I want to sniff your scent, and feel every inch of you, but trust me, I’m gonna do that soon.” He winked at me.
Pervert! He’s just a fool, trying to flirt with me. For some unknown reason, I felt a smile carved on my lips, but I immediately let it disappear, before replacing it with a deep frown.
After what seemed like forever, we finally got to the school compound, and I just couldn’t help the wave of happiness that rushed through me. The thought of seeing Liam, filled every inch of me, and I just couldn’t wait to see his handsome face again.
Stepping out of the car, I ran my way to the veranda, and once I got there, I walked straight to the hallway, that leads to Liam’s office, ignoring the calls from Jack. He can go to hell for all I care.
