Seth’s POV
“You haven’t heard from her?” I heard Storm for the umpteenth time and my answer is still the same.
No.
It has been two days but I still haven’t reached Zaya nor her Mom and I’m really getting a little nervous.
Usually, Zaya would be answering my call on the third ring. And if she didn’t, she’ll send me a message a day after.
“Yah, that girl purposely bumped into you earlier at the ending. Did you notice?” Mono said as he types something on his phone.
“Right, nice save though. You just bowed and went away.” Demo added.
We are currently on our van on our way home.
Grey was sleeping at the back beside Sky.
I don’t even know why the two seemed to be sleepier than the usual. I understand we are all tired but those two are usually the ones with more energy left.
Storm seemed more alive than them these days.
I’ll have to talk with these two. Maybe they’re losing sleep over their computer games.
“Yeah, now I’m thinking that announcing your break up with Zaya is a bad thing. A lot of girls are starting to hit on you thinking that you’re really single.” Raze shake in head in disapproval.
He is right. I don’t really want to say bad things but the rookie idol earlier obviously tried to bump into me.
I’m not saying that she’s trying to hit on me but it basically looks like it.
If she really likes me or whatever her intention is, I don’t know.
Now, I feel so bad after remembering the words I told Zaya when we first met. How I accused her of trying to cling into me to get a name on the industry.
Stupid, Seth.
“Storm, can you try to reach Cali?” I asked desperately.
Storm hesitated for a moment but before he can even pull out his phone, Mono suddenly spoke.
“Yah, Seth, have you seen this?” Mono stretched out his hand and handed me the phone.
“Their Livestream?” I said confused.
“This seemed to be two days ago,” Demo added.
“Yeah, but go to the later part. And check the comment section. Their fans are getting wild.” Mono informed us.
Just seeing Zaya ‘s face even in a video makes my heart flutter.
I can’t help but smile.
This is my babe right there.
Soon enough, Raze and Demo are watching the video along with me.
“One second, doesn’t she seem like uncomfortable here?” Raze pointed out and I noticed how she started biting her lips.
She tried to hide whatever it is that she is feeling but Tokyo must have noticed and she’s trying to end the Livestream.
I opened the comments and saw a few fans fighting telling something about not mentioning me on their live because it’s rude.
“Shit. It looks like Zaya read something about you which made her upset.” Demo stated as we read the words clearly.
We were so immersed in watching that we didn’t even know that our manager had been on a call.
“Seth,” my head snapped on his direction when he called my name. “WHISTLE’s manager called me and stated that Zaya was sent to the hospital but she’s okay now and ifs resting at home.”
“What?”
“Huh?!”
Everyone was startled and even the two youngest members sleeping at the back awake.
“Guys, I need to head out to Australia,” I said, my voice firm and my fist balled in anger.
I felt a hand squeezing my shoulder.
“I will call our boss.” My manager stated and I closed my eyes as I leaned back.
I was startled when my phone started ringing, my wife’s name showing on the screen.
I fumbled on my phone before I answered her video call, not even minding that my members started leaning over to check on her.
Once her face was shown on the screen, my heart sank when I realized how pale she looks while she’s seated on her bed, her back leaning on the headboard.
“Babe…” I whispered.
She smiled at me and waved her hands.
“Hi everyone!” she said greeting my members behind me.
“How are you feeling?” I asked her and she just smiled at me.
“I’m all good. I called because I knew you’d be worried.” she grinned.
“Zaya !!” I grunted. My face frown and she chuckled at the sight of me.
“My Seth, don’t be mad.” she cooed and as much as I would like to scold her for not letting me know sooner, I can’t stay mad at her.
“By the way, don’t even think about flying over here to check on me. I already have the girls worrying too much. I don’t want another person to be clingy around me.” she rolled her eyes, Demo and Raze laughing along the process.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” I asked her worriedly and she understood what I meant.
“I am, so stop worrying okay? Just do your performances with ease. And please, stop wearing sleeveless shirts if you’ll keep on showing your skin.” she giggled and I almost had to stop and smack Grey’s arm when I heard him laugh real heard behind my back.
“Zaya, are they feeding you well in there?” Raze cooed and cringed at the sound of his voice.
“Hey!” I protested and he just made a face in front of me.
“They are feeding me well, Raze. However, how are you and that tall girl from HAPPINESS?” she teases and I was shocked to see Raze’s cheeks turning red.
“Tall girl from HP? Like as in HAPPINESS?” Sky said confused and we all stared at him as he sat timidly on the side.
Storm shook his head, laughing a little and Mono gasped. “Hey! You sneaky little shit,” he muttered and Raze’s eyes went wide.
“Yah, Mono, I’m still older than you.”
We all rolled our eyes on him.
“So that’s why you were sneaking out at midnight? I swear I thought there was a thief one time.” Demo exclaimed.
Raze blushed and screamed towards my direction.
“Yah, Zaya, look what you did!”
Mono sat beside Raze and started checking on his phone.
“Stay away from me you idiot.”
I shake my head and I stared back at the girl smiling on my phone screen.
“I miss you,” I muttered.
“Okay, we don’t want to hear you lovey-dovey, I’ll get back to sleep.” Grey sat back down along with Sky.
I turned my head towards Demo’s direction and he just stared at me confused.
“What?” he asked, clueless about what’s happening.
“Demo, do me a favor and give the lovers some space will you?”
I smiled at Storm grateful for speaking what’s on my mind.
Demo puckered his lips but gave me space anyways.
“Finally…” I puffed some air, a sigh escaping my lips.
She was still smiling though I know how stressed she must have been.
“I just watched your Livestream.” I told her. She bit her lower lip after hearing my words.
Her eyes soften understanding what I meant.
“I’m not upset about it. I trust you, okay?” she said sincerely.
How is she an angel?
I scratched the back of my head after remembering the incident earlier. Should I tell her?
“What is it? Your nose is scrunched like you want to fart. What is it now Seth, what did you do?” her voice was a little loud and since the phone was on speaker mode, everyone heard her.
I looked at Storm as he nodded.
“There was a rookie idol who bumped into me earlier,” I told her and her face automatically frown.
“I didn’t talk to her!” I said abruptly. ” I’m telling you so you’d know. Especially since there are fans who saw.”
A sigh escaped her lips.
“Araso. I will sleep first. I’m tired. You too. Make sure to take a rest.” she said still smiling but I can feel that she’s a little upset. But I decided not to say anything about it.
“I will. I love you, babe.” I muttered and she waved her hand before the video call ended.
I closed my eyes and sigh.
“I’m guessing, she doesn’t look too happy, is she?” Raze asked.
Our van stopped indicating that we’ve already reached our dorm.
We all headed out of the van and immediately went inside.
Once we reached our dorm, I plopped my body down on the couch, my eyes closed as I massage my temple.
I heard my members taking a seat of their own.
“Is it that bad?” Demo spoke and I looked at him. My heart ached when I realized how worried everyone looked.
“It is. Zaya was smiling but I know it’s affecting her.” I removed a few buttons of my shirt.
“Seth, it hasn’t been two months and a total of four girls had been associated with you. I don’t know just how much Zaya can take.”
I threw a pillow on Grey after what he said.
“Wait till I tell Tokyo that you’re being chummy with Yeri.” I told him and his eyes widen.
“I guess so,” I smirked. Not that Grey was really flirting with the girl but we recently found out that Yeri liked him.
“What’s your plan now?” Grey asked while lying down on the couch.
“I don’t know.” I washed my face with my hands.
“BP and our company had plans. But I don’t think it’s working. We were able to dodge the bullet of getting caught about being married buy Zaya is the one suffering the most.”
“So what do you want to do?” Mono asked.
What should I do?
“Yeah Seth, you and Zaya is our family. Whatever you want to do, we will support it.” Raze added and I watch in awe as they all smiled at me reassuringly.
“We got your back, Seth,” Demo added and a relieved smile escaped my lips.
To be honest, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I need to do with my family, and I guess it’s about time I do it.
For Zaya, for us, for our family…
“Okay then, I’ll need your help on this.” I told them and they all listened to what I’ve got to say.
Three months…
That’s how long it took for my plans to get executed.
WHISTLE house had already started and our promotion had already ended.
We are doing tours but I visit Zaya occasionally. What I did these past three months had been a secret especially to her.
And today, I’m going to do a V-live.
“Good luck. Whatever happens, we’re here for you.” Sky hugged me and I hugged him back.
“I know. But I’m afraid our boss will get mad at me for this.” I told them and Mono just smiled.
“Don’t worry. We helped you with this so we’re on this together. Whatever happens, you won’t be facing this shit alone.” he stated.
“We’ll stay with you while you do your Livestream” Raze cheered.
I pulled my hoodie down as I open the app.
A long sigh escaped my lips as my V-live started.
Immediately, around a thousand of viewers appeared.
I gulped, getting really nervous about what I am about to do.
I smiled at the screen as I read their comments.
Some are confused about why I am the only one on the screen while the boys are sitting a few feet behind me.
Five thousand.
I guess this is enough.
“Our fans, good evening. This is Seth Devon of SHADOW” I greeted our fans and bowed.
I read as I saw the comments asking why I’m suddenly being formal.
“As you noticed, the boys are behind me. It’s because I have something important to share.” I started.
“I know a lot of you will be mad and disappointed but I think I need to do this so everybody would know.”
The fans started to get wild on the chatbox.
“Whatever I tell tonight, I hope you don’t get mad on the other members. It’s my decision and I hope you continue to share your love with them.”
I’ve heard a series of protests on my back but I did not pay any attention.
I knew my members are very supportive of my decision, it will still be selfish of me to drag them into this.
This is it.
“For the past three years, I have been keeping you all a secret. Not because I want to, but I need to.”
I closed my eyes and released a long sigh.
“Though this news may be sudden, I want everyone to know that I am so thankful for the support that you’ve given to me and to SHADOW.”
I turned around and look at my members.
Storm nodded while Mono and Demo put a thumbs up.
Raze was smiling along with Grey and Sky.
My heart is beating like crazy but I am glad that I can finally get this off my chest.
“Army’s, I want to share to you something good that had happened in my life.” I started.
