Primo Jones had just gotten out of the shower when he noticed a car parked outside his villa.
He couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and had just lowered the curtains in his hand when his cell phone rang on the side.
Primo Jones walked over and picked up the phone, looking out the window again when he saw the incoming call.
He didn’t answer the call and simply got out of the car with his cell phone in hand.
Just as he walked out the front door, Primo Jones saw Gwen Fox standing in front of the car smoking a cigarette.
“It’s late, Young Master Fox don’t tell me you came all the way out here to see me.”
“What did you do to her?” Gwen Fox stood up from in front of the front of the car, lifted her hand and pinched the cigarette off her mouth, looking straight at Primo Jones in front of her.
“Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that, Gwen Fox?”
Primo Jones sneered, “I don’t think anyone knows better than you exactly why Yolanda went with you to get a license in the first place, do they?”
Before his words even left his mouth, Gwen Fox directly threw the cigarette in her hand and threw her fist at him.
Primo Jones, never one to take a good beating, tilted his head and reached out to stop Gwen Fox’s fist, “I haven’t seen a man as mean as you, Gwen Fox!”
“Don’t you make me, okay? You used her!”
Hearing his words, Primo Jones was stunned for a moment, and it was that moment that he was punched hard by Gwen Fox.
Primo Jones stifled a grunt and suddenly laughed when he reacted, “You don’t believe in her, Gwen Fox! You don’t even believe in her, so who are you to tell me that!”
The two of them went back and forth, Primo Jones had just eaten one of his punches and was fuming, avoiding Gwen Fox’s attack, reaching out and clasping his arm, and then forcefully swinging the two of them in the same direction, flinging him hard against the wall.
“You believed those rumors didn’t you?”
Primo Jones lifted a hand to hold him down and keep Gwen Fox from doing anything.
“You give her back to me!”
Give me back the Yolanda Taylor who loves me!
Primo Jones looked at Gwen Fox in front of him, the lights were a little dim and he was far away, he couldn’t see the slap marks on his face until now.
Looking at him like a child who had been robbed of his candy, Primo Jones only felt that he was pathetic and ridiculous: “No one has ever been able to take Yolanda away from you, Gwen Fox, it’s always been you who pushed her away!”
He said, letting go and turning to walk inside the villa.
After taking two steps, Primo Jones stopped, however, he looked back at the frustrated Gwen Fox, his brow furrowed, “Do you think she’d still be in your presence if she loved me?”
Primo Jones’ words were like a blow to the head, slamming down hard on Gwen Fox, he blushed and looked at Primo Jones’ figure, only to feel his heart tremble.
He couldn’t care about the hard feelings, he turned around and got into the car in a hurry, and drove away outside with a step on the gas.
Primo Jones had just reached the second floor when he heard the sound of the car’s engine and couldn’t help but walk over to the landing window to take a look.
He wasn’t exactly a nice guy, nudging Gwen Fox awake, just not wanting to make Yolanda Taylor more miserable.
Maybe both people didn’t realize that one stubbornly thinking about hate and the other stubbornly bowing down and being cautious, in the end, it would just end up in a lose-lose situation.
He has known Gwen Fox for so many years, he has never seen him so bad, take it as, a little bit of return for those two projects.
When Gwen Fox came back to the apartment, it was already early in the morning, the second floor was still the same as before he left, Yolanda Taylor was sleeping very deeply, only her eyebrows were slightly wrinkled, probably having some kind of nightmare.
He remembered Primo Jones’ last words, and his raised hand actually shook a little.
He didn’t dare to wake up Yolanda Taylor, and could only carefully carry the person into his arms, “I’m sorry, Dear, I was wrong.” He was wrong.
Yolanda Taylor slept poorly, she was tired, but she had a lot of fragmented dreams.
The thing that she dreamed about the most was the things that happened inside those three years with Gwen Fox, a lot of little bits and pieces that she didn’t even realize that she had gone through so many things with Gwen Fox as well.
When she opened her eyes, the room was a little dark, but looking at the curtains, she could see that it was already dawn outside.
Gwen Fox hadn’t woken up yet, and her entire body was being held in his arms.
She looked up at his sleeping face and remembered that the day after his first sleepover, he had also slept this late.
She was the one who woke up first that day, and when she opened her eyes, she realized that he was sleeping beside her, and he wasn’t holding him at that time, and his whole body was sleeping on her side in a regular manner.
At that time, she felt that this man was charming even when he was asleep, teenage girl’s heart was amplified in that early morning, she couldn’t help but secretly kiss him, but when she withdrew, she saw that he didn’t know when he opened his eyes were looking at herself coolly and faintly.
She was embarrassed and embarrassed, but he just sat up from the bed and without even looking at her, he just got out of bed and walked outside.
She lay there, and for some reason, she felt cold all over, like the way he looked at her when he woke up.
“Awake?”
Came the familiar voice, and Yolanda Taylor snapped back from the past.
She broke away from his hand, “Gwen Fox, get a divorce.”
She said and paused, “I know you’re going to say I should never want a divorce. I don’t care if you don’t divorce me, but something like this, I promise, won’t be the only time, or the only time twice, and as long as you haven’t divorced me, as long as I get the chance, I’m going to keep it up.”
Gwen Fox’s anger was subdued yesterday, and his whole being calmed down after the fight with Primo Jones.
His anger wasn’t that Yolanda Taylor had leaked the programs, he was only angry because she loved Primo Jones.
But he already knew last night that she didn’t love Primo Jones, so what was there for him to be angry about?
Just now when he heard these words from her, he still felt bitter and heartbroken in the end, he raised his hand and touched her hand, holding it tightly: “It’s okay, it’s good that you like it.”
Yolanda Taylor had expected him to be furious, she knew that once Gwen Fox didn’t believe it, twice he’d be skeptical.
Didn’t yesterday prove it? But then she woke up and said something like that on purpose to provoke him, and all he said back was, “It’s okay,” and she felt like she’d punched cotton, and it hadn’t done a thing.
Yolanda Taylor inclined her head to look at him, “When did you become so generous as to allow your wife to have another man on her mind?”
“I know you didn’t.”
He gave a rare smile, but Yolanda Taylor felt a chill run through her body.
She wrenched his hand away, “I don’t know what kind of trick you’re trying to pull again, or if you’ve done something to fool yourself, but you and I can never be a real couple.”
With that said, she got out of bed and walked down the stairs with her legs up.
Gwen Fox looked at her back and raised a hand to cover his face.
He knew that Yolanda Taylor was right.
But a lifetime was so long, he didn’t believe that she could last that long.
He could always, little by little, warm her cold heart back up.
