Book:Welcome To My Life Published:2024-6-3

Yolanda Taylor had just been in a meeting with CoCo and a few others when Ham Rodriguez’s men came over.
Four men got out of the van in front of the entrance and walked straight in to the store, and before CoCo and the others could react, Yolanda Taylor was being dragged over by two of the men.
The men were so strong that Yolanda Taylor’s wrists were being held by them left and right, and the flesh felt like it was twisted into a ball, causing her to huff in pain.
“What are you guys doing! Let go of our boss!” Genk was the quickest to react, only for the other two men to easily push Genk out of the way.
There were nearly ten of them inside the store, but only four men were there, and it happened so suddenly that by the time they reacted completely, Yolanda Taylor had already been carried out of the store by the two men who had started it all.
The incident happened suddenly, CoCo and Genk didn’t even think that someone would rob someone so blatantly in broad daylight.
Reacting, a group of people hurriedly chased after them.
The two men who stayed behind were martial arts practitioners and were not easy to deal with. Seeing that Yolanda Taylor was about to be dragged into the van, CoCo and the others stopped the men while the other three boys went over to snatch her.
Yolanda Taylor also reacted and braced her feet on the underside of that van to keep them from lifting herself into it.
“Miss Taylor, we were called by Ham Rodriguez to ask you to come over and meet him, our men don’t know what’s going on, so please cooperate if you don’t want your employees to get hurt.”
As soon as the man on the left’s words left his mouth, Yolanda Taylor saw CoCo and the others being pushed out of the way with one hand.
“Don’t do it!”
She was afraid that those two men would hurt them, so she quickly opened her mouth and called out, “CoCo, you guys go back, I’m fine!”
To come in and rob someone in broad daylight, where does this look like it’s okay!
CoCo’s eyes are red, but they can’t be beaten, although they are many, but the men who come to rob people are all practiced, they can’t stand it after just one hit.
Yolanda Taylor saw that they still wanted to go forward, and called out again, “Go back!”
She said and struggled a bit, “I’ll go with you guys, you let go of me.”
The two men to her left and right looked at each other, probably thinking that it wasn’t a good idea either, so they let go.
It is the summer vacation time, come to shop a lot of students, a lot of people on the street, just made such a big commotion, a lot of people passing by subconsciously looked over.
Yolanda Taylor advised CoCo and Genk to go back.
Although CoCo and the others were uneasy, but seeing that Yolanda Taylor was loosened up, they gritted their teeth, and the group still retreated back.
Seeing that they had finally retreated, Yolanda Taylor bent down and entered the car.
She had just sat down when the two men who had dragged her out earlier got in and sat in the chairs behind her.
The door had just been closed and the car started slowly.
Yolanda Taylor sat there, her face was very bad: “You guys make such a big fuss, you are not afraid of turning things around and not having the hair to deliver?”
She had a cold face, with anger in her eyes.
A man in the front passenger side of the car looked back at her, “I’m sorry Miss Taylor, we’re a few rough people, you’re generous.”
This was said in a perfunctory manner, but she had already gotten into the car, people were chopping the knife, it was useless to say anything at this time.
She also stopped talking, looked sideways out the car window, seeing that everything outside the car window is getting stranger and stranger, Yolanda Taylor’s heart is also a little messy.
This Ham Rodriguez, in the end what do you want? The car drove for about an hour, and finally stopped in front of an independent villa.
The villa that surrounded the mountain, the car just drove in to take more than ten minutes, after driving in, each independent villa is separated by several kilometers of distance.
This was really a rich man’s place to live, with a tranquil environment, mountains and water.
The villa in front of her backed by a natural lake, a large garden area in front of the villa.
When she got off the bus, an old man was pruning the flowers inside the garden, and it was visible that she was brought in, but she didn’t even look at it.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but frown for a moment, getting more and more confused as to what the hell Ham Rodriguez was so mad about.
She was led up to the guest room on the second floor, the villa was large and very well designed inside.
After going up the stairs, there was a living room, but there was also a walkway leading to the living room, along which there was a left and a right side at the end, she was led to the right side, and after passing a sitting area, she was led to a room.
The man pushed open the door, this time a little more politely than before, “Miss Taylor, Ham Rodriguez is coming in late, so please get some rest.”
With that said, the other man turned around and left, not seeming to worry about her escaping.
The room wasn’t exactly at the end, separated by about two meters or so, and beyond that all-glass wall was that lake.
Upon closer inspection, there was also a doorway out, and outside there was a small garden with tables, chairs and sofas.
Yolanda Taylor wasn’t here for a viewing vacation, she took one look and went inside the room.
On the left side of the room was also a large floor-to-ceiling window with a lake and mountain view.
And directly opposite the doorway is a small balcony, looking down to see the rockery and water, there is also a swing next to it.
This villa design is quite interesting, but she is not much mind to appreciate.
Inside the room, there was a TV and computer, and a small bar in the bathroom, so it was like a well-appointed hotel suite.
Yolanda Taylor took out her cell phone and realized that there was no signal here.
She turned on her computer, which was connected to the Internet, but needed a password.
Where did she know the password, if she did, her cell phone wouldn’t have no signal.
The sun was beating down at eleven o’clock, so she closed the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows and opened the door to the small balcony.
It was quite soothing with the wind blowing in.
She sat at the bar and waited for Ham Rodriguez to show up.
Ham Rodriguez didn’t keep her waiting long, she got there about a quarter to eleven and he showed up at half past eleven.
Yolanda Taylor knew Ham Rodriguez was here when she heard the footsteps, she had just calmed down for over ten minutes and had guessed what Ham Rodriguez had gone through all the trouble to get her here for.
No sooner had Ham Rodriguez reached the doorway than Yolanda Taylor stood up and looked straight at him, preempting her, “Ham Rodriguez made such a big deal out of this, are you afraid that no one will know that you’ve taken me captive?”
He didn’t answer that question for her, “Yolanda Taylor, you should know what I got you here for.”
He said and paused for a moment, “I know that the development plan for that land on the outskirts of the city was given to you by Heather, before she left she stabbed such a big leak and threw you here to suffer, I won’t hold it against you for this matter, just tell me where she went and I’ll have you sent back right away, and everything will be treated as if it didn’t happen.”
He couldn’t find Heather, it was as if the woman had vanished into thin air.
The only thing he’d found out was that she’d gone to a horse farm with Yolanda Taylor a few days before she’d left, and the two of them had ridden for about two hours or so before she’d sent Yolanda Taylor back.
It had been over half a month, almost twenty days, and he still couldn’t find her.
Yolanda Taylor only found it funny when she heard him say that, “Ham Rodriguez is so funny, I told you a long time ago, I don’t know where she went, not to mention the fact that you got me here today, even if you want to lock me up for a hundred days, I still say that- ” Saying that, she paused, “I don’t know!”
