Yolanda Taylor hadn’t woken up when Dika Rothstein arrived at the hospital.
He looked at Gwen Fox inside the hospital room and practically gritted his teeth, “Gwen Fox! Is this what you call protecting her?”
Hearing his words, Gwen Fox only looked up at him, “I’ll give her a piece of my mind.”
Dika Rothstein snorted coldly, “Account, now that the person is not in trouble you can naturally give an account, if she is in trouble, what account do you think you can give that is redeemable?” Gwen Fox didn’t say anything, he also had fear.
Dika Rothstein’s accusing words upset him, but he knew he was telling the truth.
He raised his hand to help tuck Yolanda Taylor in her hospital bed before he got up and walked outside, “A fight?”
“Success! I’ve been wanting to beat you up for a long time! If I didn’t want her to feel bad, I would have hit you!”
Gwen Fox gave him a cold look that was as cold as ice, Dika Rothstein couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment, but he reacted quickly.
The two men exited the inpatient building, found an open space and fought heartily.
The last time Gwen Fox had let Dika Rothstein get the better of him, but this time he went all out, and by the end of the fight, both men were taking a lot of punches.
Dika Rothstein was kicked in the face by Gwen Fox, and lay on the ground, simply not getting up.
Gwen Fox is not much better, when he kicked Dika Rothstein, he was punched in the shoulder, and now his shoulder is hurting.
He held onto a tree pole to the side, wiping the blood away from the corner of his mouth as he gasped for air, “I’m not letting Daniel Fox off the hook, and I’m not letting Xenia Davis off the hook either.”
Dika Rothstein has been punched in the eye and it’s now swollen to a line.
He moved slightly to look at Gwen Fox, “When Yolanda wakes up, I’ll take her away. Out of Borden City, and out of Oman City.”
“I won’t let you take her away!”
“Then you’ll wait!”
Dika Rothstein made up her mind, braced herself on the floor and stood up, throwing down her last words before lifting her leg and leaving the hospital.
Yolanda Taylor was fine, except for a broken left foot and a bit of shock, but she just wouldn’t wake up.
This is already the third day of Yolanda Taylor’s coma, she did not wake up, can not eat, and now only able to use nutritional fluids to maintain.
The doctors in the hospital were forced by Gwen Fox to hold a meeting on Yolanda Taylor’s condition, but the final result was that she was just in a normal coma.
Gwen Fox grimaced and asked Lewis to arrange for a transfer.
Borden City’s top two hospitals and the top three brain hospitals in the country were all at their wits’ end, so there was no other way but to go abroad for treatment.
Lewis answered Gwen Fox’s call and went to make arrangements for Yolanda Taylor to be transferred out of the country, but in addition to that, he had to send someone to find Daniel Fox.
Since Yolanda Taylor’s return, Daniel Fox has disappeared into thin air.
But Gwen Fox has given a death order, no matter what, he has to find Daniel Fox.
These days, Gwen Fox was inside the hospital, and he stayed inside the ward for as long as Yolanda Taylor was unconscious.
During that time, Beth Garcia and Jerome Perot came once.
Since the last time they came across Yolanda Taylor, both of them had checked, but they couldn’t find out anything about Yolanda Taylor, and they didn’t expect that by the time they got a clear message, Yolanda Taylor would be in such an accident.
When they arrived, Yolanda Taylor had been lying on the bed in a coma, with a lagging needle in her left hand, which was used to give her nutritional fluids.
Gwen Fox was sitting on the edge of the bed, her face bruised and swollen, but he was stoic, and Jerome Perot and Beth Garcia didn’t dare ask any questions.
Inside the hospital room, no one said anything, very quiet, Beth Garcia and Jerome Perot two people can not stand this kind of depressing, and finally two people left by themselves.
The door of the hospital room was opened and closed, Gwen Fox looked at Yolanda Taylor on the hospital bed, he reached out and touched her hand, it was warm.
It was obvious that nothing was wrong, but she just wouldn’t wake up.
“Dear, are you still blaming me?”
He had barely closed his eyes for the past few days, and the man sat there by the hospital bed as if he were in a trance.
Nowadays, the words that come out of his mouth are raspy, like abrasive gravel, making it inexplicably difficult to hear.
The cell phone on the side suddenly rang, it was Parker’s call.
He hadn’t gone over to Lamar Fox’s side for a few days, and Parker, afraid of irritating Lamar Fox, called again to urge him to go over.
Gwen Fox sank his face, “She’s not awake yet, Parker, I’m relieved that you’re by Grandpa’s side.”
After saying that, he hung up the call with a cold face.
Yolanda Taylor had a dream, she dreamed that she was standing inside the villa that was on fire, watching Gwen Fox driving away a little bit.
“Gwen Fox, I hate you, I hate you!”
She shouted at the top of her lungs as the fire wrapped around her in an instant, and she stood there, laughing for a moment, crying for a moment.
“Dear?”
A familiar voice rang in her ears, and Yolanda Taylor subconsciously opened her eyes.
Her face went white when she saw Gwen Fox, “Why are you here?”
A tear had just flowed down from the corner of her eye, and Gwen Fox raised her hand to help her wipe it away, but she inclined her head to avoid it.
Yolanda Taylor moved, the pain in her left ankle made her huff, she didn’t dare move again, she just looked back and saw her gauze wrapped left foot, the events of that night came flooding back like a tidal wave.
“You’re awake, is there any pain?”
Off to the side Gwen Fox poured a glass of warm water and handed it to her, Yolanda Taylor didn’t take it, she just looked at him, “Where’s Dika Rothstein?”
Her pale face was cold, her reddened eyes pressed with hate.
Gwen Fox’s hands shook as she met her eyes.
She remembered.
He set the glass of water away, “He was just here this morning.”
“I need to see him.”
“Good.”
Gwen Fox answered, swallowing the bitterness in her throat after a deep look at her before calling Dika Rothstein.
Yolanda Taylor carefully propped herself up on the bed and sat up, then stared down at the sheets beneath her in a daze.
The past was like a nightmare that had haunted her for years, and now she remembered it all, the love and the hate.
After Gwen Fox hung up the phone, he turned around and saw Yolanda Taylor in the hospital room, staring blankly at the bed sheets.
He put the cell phone back into his pocket, pushed open the door and walked in, “You just woke up, are you hungry?”
She looked up and straight at him, “Gwen Fox, I remember.”
He stood there and for a moment, his head went blank.
But soon, Gwen Fox came back to her senses, “Congratulations.”
Yolanda Taylor looked at him, and the past felt like a dream, but she knew that it wasn’t a dream, because nowadays, thinking about it just made her heart ache fiercely.
She gritted her teeth and said, word for word, as if she wanted to eat his flesh and bones, “I will settle our old scores with you.”
“Then I’ll wait.”
He looked at her, and there seemed to be a smile on his lips.
