The woman in front of her didn’t know what she was thinking and her face changed a thousand times, and Yolanda Taylor thought about the way she’d just come on so aggressively that she couldn’t help but be a little worried that the two of them had had a big problem in the past.
Her chaotic brain suddenly cleared up, “Excuse me, this lady, my friend has come to pick me up, I’ll leave first!”
She said, lifted her leg and ran off to the side.
Xenia Davis reacted, Yolanda Taylor was already running away.
She didn’t know her way around Oman City, so she wanted to go after her, but she didn’t have a car.
Xenia Davis could only stomp her feet, but she quickly calmed down.
Yolanda Taylor’s memory loss and Gwen Fox’s insistence on staying in Oman City were two things that would have been a good thing for her if it had been just the first one, but now both of them had run into each other.
Obviously, Gwen Fox knew that Yolanda Taylor was here, so he suddenly revealed his whereabouts after disappearing for three years, and then stayed in this place, unwilling to leave.
Looking at Yolanda Taylor’s back that was gradually walking away, Xenia Davis’ face was a little bit gloomy.
For so many years, whenever she faced Yolanda Taylor, she would always lose!
She didn’t believe that this time, she would still lose in a mess!
Yolanda Taylor kept running with her umbrella and gritted her teeth until she couldn’t see the hospital at all anymore, then she stopped.
At that moment, there happened to be a taxi at the intersection where passengers were getting off, and she hastily raised her hand to wave.
After getting into the cab, her headache was so bad that she didn’t want to talk or move anymore after she reported the name of the neighborhood.
Because of the run she had just made, her throat was now so dry that it felt like it was on fire, and it was unbearable.
Fifteen minutes later, the car stopped in front of the neighborhood.
Yolanda Taylor paid the bill and went straight inside the neighborhood.
This snow has been falling, her brain is dizzy and rising, very difficult to bear.
After walking downstairs, Yolanda Taylor saw a familiar figure.
It was Gwen Fox.
She frowned a little, remembering the woman from earlier, and her face went cold, “Why are you here?”
“Wanted to see you.”
He didn’t have an umbrella, and his face was pale as hell.
Yolanda Taylor’s face wasn’t much better; she was obviously pale because of her fever, but her cheeks had an abnormal flush.
Gwen Fox’s eyes fell on the bag of medicine she was carrying in her hand and she frowned slightly, “You’re sick.”
“What I have to say was said last time, and I don’t want you to bother me again.”
As if he hadn’t heard her, he lifted his leg and walked over to her eyes, lifting his hand and touching it directly to her forehead.
Gwen Fox realized that the forehead beneath his hand was incredibly hot, and he was about to speak, but he couldn’t help but cough, “You have a fever, go back and get some rest.”
With that, he took it upon himself to push out of her sight and stand to look at her from the side of that glass doorway.
Yolanda Taylor tightened her grip on her umbrella for a moment, “I just ran into a woman in front of the hospital and she asked me if I recognized you.”
Gwen Fox’s face changed a little at her words, “She gave you a hard time?”
“I ran away.”
She paused, “She came here because of you?”
Without waiting for him to say anything, Yolanda Taylor suddenly took a step toward him, “It was you, wasn’t it? I’ve always been fine here, no one has ever approached me or said anything to me out of the blue for no apparent reason, but ever since I met you, all of a sudden there’s a woman dragging me around cursing me! How many times do you want me to say Gwen Fox, I’m happy with my life now! I don’t want to think about anything from before, and I don’t want to see any of the people from before, so will you just let me go? Leave me alone?!”
At the end of her sentence, it was as if her voice was stuck.
Gwen Fox looked down at the hand she was pulling on, it was hot, like that fire.
He wanted to say no, but looking at her, he couldn’t say anything.
He wanted to say yes, but the words rolled off his tongue and he couldn’t get them out.
The two men were at a standstill for a while, and finally it was Gwen Fox who opened her mouth, “I won’t let anyone bother you.”
Yolanda Taylor knew he wasn’t willing to compromise, she let go and without another word, walked right in after opening the door.
Gwen Fox watched her walk silently to the elevator entrance, his heart felt as if it was wrapped in blades, cutting him bloody.
Suddenly Yolanda Taylor swayed in front of the elevator entrance and his eyes tightened as the person inside had fallen to the floor.
He tried to rush in and carry her out, but was stopped dead in his tracks by the glass door.
Gwen Fox tried to kick the glass door open, but found that he couldn’t.
After two minutes, he realized the only way out was to go to security.
He quickly turned around and ran out to the security booth at the entrance to call for security, and the security guard heard him and quickly followed him over to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, Gwen Fox rushed in and attempted to pick Yolanda Taylor up, however he had drunkenly collapsed inside the snow the night before and was taken straight to the hospital, and when he saw Xenia Davis come over today, he was running from inside the hospital.
His current condition is actually not much better than Yolanda Taylor.
Seeing that he didn’t seem to be able to hold him, the security guard couldn’t help but open his mouth and ask, “Sir, should I do it?”
“No need.”
He said, gritted his teeth a bit, and carried Yolanda Taylor in.
There was a community hospital nearby and Gwen Fox carried her there.
Yolanda Taylor woke up to find herself on top of a hospital bed for some reason.
She frowned a little and propped herself up on the bed to sit up, but she heard Gwen Fox’s voice, “You stay still, you’re on fluids.”
It was then that Yolanda Taylor realized that Gwen Fox was actually here.
“How did I get here? And how did you get here?”
Gwen Fox got up from the chair and walked over to her, and was just about to open his mouth to tell her that she had fainted, but his vision went black, and his whole body fell straight down on top of the hospital bed.
Yolanda Taylor’s face went white with shock, and when she reacted, she rushed to call for help.
The nurse ran in, originally thought that something had happened to her, saw her pointing at Yolanda Taylor, the nurse realized that someone had fainted.
But the nurse was too small to help Gwen Fox, so she had to run out and call someone.
Two people fainted back and forth, the nurse laughed while giving Gwen Fox a needle, “You guys are really something, two people take turns fainting! Your boyfriend is also too uncaring, he has pneumonia plus a high fever, I see that the clothes he is wearing inside are sick clothes, he just ran out from the hospital, right?”
Yolanda Taylor froze for a moment, staring blankly at Gwen Fox lying in the hospital bed next to her, she forgot to retort that Gwen Fox was not her boyfriend.
The nurse finished sticking the needle and looked at her needle water again, “Oman City’s winter is cold, you’re not local, you have to pay attention to keep warm, especially this snow, don’t look at it as if it doesn’t fall too much just don’t hold an umbrella, the snowflakes fall on your head, after melting, they get wet, a lot of people can’t stand it, and they just catch a cold from freezing.”
“Thanks.”
Yolanda Taylor had little energy and didn’t bother to say anything.
The nurse explained a few more precautions and then went out.
With her and the still dazed Gwen Fox left inside the hospital room, Yolanda Taylor looked at him and couldn’t help but get a little lost in thought.
