Logan sighed as he pushed the bedroom door open to find Rhea sitting by the window. After they came back, he gave her time to freshen up, and now she was sitting comfortably in warm clothes, and hence he walked to her and sat beside her
“Here”he handed her a glass of mango juice just like always. Rhea took it with a smile not sure what to do or say, but they needed to talk
“There was no need to hide that from me Logan”she said more like a whisper and kept her eyes away from him, of course Logan was aware of what he did, but he wanted to tell her which wasn’t a big deal, but Patricia didn’t want anyone to know about her condition. It was private, and she begged him not to tell anyone, and hence he couldn’t go against someone’s wishes even if he wanted to
“I know sweetie, but I had no right to disclose such info without being told to do so”Logan said even when he knew he sounded ridiculous and yes Rhea felt a sharp pain in her chest as she slowly took a sip of her cold drink
“Y… you don’t trust me? is that why you decided to shove me from your life and anything that happens?”it wasn’t a hard question, but Logan felt even worse because he treated Rhea like she wasn’t his wife. As her husband he was expected to share whatever was bothering him with his wife, but he was wrong to keep such an inferior matter from her,
“That’s not it… I trust you more than anything… I was wrong to have kept that from you… it wasn’t a big deal and if I came clean then… trouble would have been avoided”he whispered and pulled her in his arms, Rhea didn’t stop him but set the glass on the table and snuggled on his chest as a shiver escaped her lips. He was warm, and she wanted to get some warmness from him and Logan wrapped his arms around her securely,
“In that case never hide anything from me ever again… I know that woman was miserable and all, but she had no rights to lay her eyes on my man like she did”yes his secretary must have been a bit carried away with her emotions, but she chose her life hence had no rights to feel jealous of her. She wasn’t there when she abducted Logan shot him and moved in with him not just that but ended up in his bed then later on both go married
“Your man?…. hahaha… now that’s different… but I felt sorry for the lady… she ruined her life for someone who didn’t deserve it”he has found out a lot about his secretary from the kind doctor and Patricia ran away from home five years ago to marry the man her parents didn’t approve of all because she was in love with him however the man showed his true colors and made her life miserable
“She should have stayed within her limits… I feel sorry for her life but what’s mine is mine, Logan… I don’t like it when others desire what’s mine”it was a clean confession and Logan listened to Rhea as she went on and vented her anger on him without knowing she was saying certain things that made his heart skip a beat. As cliché as it sounded her didn’t imagine her was so special to her not just that but for weeks since they weren’t talking to each other he saw just how miserable his life would be like without Rhea in it
“Do you know for weeks now… I learned something”Logan remarked in a serious tone and Rhea shifted in a better position, so she could look at him, although it was slightly dark and Logan reached for the back of her neck and kept his hand there
“What is it”she mumbled out and rubbed her face against his arm and the man smiled
“Life is too short to hold grudges… it’s too short that I felt fear of not having you with me… I don’t know why,, but I’m sure I… don’t want to spend my life alone… I want my wife in it, no matter what”Logan said as he caressed her gently, rhea felt tears build up but didn’t matter a word but waited for him to finish “Rhea… I want you in my life I need you in my life… be my forever as my wife and the mother of my children”he added and silence fell between them as the weather intensified she was desperate to answer but kept her eyes locked with his as she gasped into his blue eyes that showed just how much he meant every word he said. All her life she always dreamed of a prince charming,, but now she had one. A kind-hearted prince charming who she didn’t deserve, but here he was asking her to be his. Tears fell on her cheeks as she blinked several times,
“I would be a fool… to reject such a proposal… I promise to be your wife forever, okay… Rhea is here to stay and… sobs… there no getting rid of her”she replied with sobs and Logan chuckled and pulled her in a hug as he tightened his grip on her, for weeks he had stayed away from her which felt like years he greatly missed having her in his arms
“Then its settled… we are one wifey”he murmured against her neck and rhea shivered and gripped his back even more tight and closed her eyes. The two remained like that, but when the man started moving his hands on her, she knew the night was just getting started, and she would allow him to have her in every possible way that pleased him.

It was already morning and Rhea was woken up by her constant ringing phone which she forgot on the night stand. Her body was weak and opening her eyes seemed difficult but whoever was calling didn’t want to stop, and hence she groaned as her eyes flicked open as she adjusted to the bright light and heard birds chirping from outside the window, and she knew she had slept until late. Shifting around to get up, she felt strong arms tighten on her belly only to look up and saw Logan sleeping peacefully. A smile danced at the corners of her lips as she raised the blanket to peek inside, and felt shame as her cheeks turned red. Of course the night went well, and now her husband was holding her tight as if she would escape his grasp which made Rhea smile even more and carefully removed his arms from her belly then extended her hand to reach for the phone and once it was in her grasp, she answered it without checking who was calling
“Yes”she answered but the voice which spoke was full of anger more irratation and sounded tired
“Emil… what’s wrong?” Rhea asked desperately only for Logan to open his eyes and snatched the phone from his wife
“Why should you disturb my morning Casanova”Logan said lazily and Emiliano felt even more irritated which his hoarse voice proved
“Bring your wife here now… I was calling your damn phone, but you are busy romancing while I’m suffering damn it”Rhea heard Emiliano say in frustration and nearly giggled at the way he sounded as if complaining, and hence she kept her eyes on Logan who automatically frowned as he shifted in a sitting position and used his free arm to pull her in his arms, so she could rest on his bare chest
“Do I disturb your sweet mornings huh…”
“Get over here now!”with that the call was disconnected and Logan cursed multiple times and put the phone away, rhea who was holding in laughter finally laughed because the two fought like kids
“We should go… or his highness… will send goons to pick us up”she suggested as she tried to move away from him but Logan pulled her and in a swift trapped her beneath him
“He can wait… good morning beautiful wife”logan said with a mischievous smile and captured her mouth for a kiss and rhea kissed him back and giggled
“Stop it… Emil sounded serious”she chuckled and pushed him away and ran to the bathroom. Logan sat up and smirked as he ran his hand in his hair
“I’m a satisfied husband”he murmured with a smirk.

“What! How did so much happen in one night?”Rhea exclaimed as soon as Emiliano joined them in the living room. She didn’t know that so much as happened when she left the party not just that but Sia was in a terrible state
“I brought her back home… so she could see Diego and be alright but…”Emiliano said, he had taken her to the penthouse so they could have some alone time but when morning came she was still the same she wasn’t talking but kept on saying things that didn’t make sense hence he brought her home so she could be around Diego but his wife was even scared to hold her own son
“I thought you locked him up… how on earth did he escape?” Logan added, not sure what to do. Angel was dangerous that was why emiliano took him to rehabilitation center
“That’s not the case here… i called rhea because you are her friend… please try talking to her… i don’t know what to do next”It was like Sia was trapped in that moment the gun was fired hence she wasn’t getting back to her senses no matter what he did to snap her out of it
“I’ll do my best… it wasn’t her fault at all”She shouldn’t have gone anywhere and left her friend alone who knew what angel said to her she just hoped sia wasn’t traumatized over a trivial matter.
