“I’ve always hated you… do you know why… because you ruined my plans… if you didn’t follow me that night”he said with bitterness as he took small predatory steps towards Sia who was backing away slowly, it was scary seeing how crazy angel looked. He wasn’t in his right senses, and hence he could do anything without thinking twice “if you didn’t poke your silly nose in my affairs then… you wouldn’t be here with me pointing a gun at you… you little snake is responsible for the condition I’m in… you are the one who let him lock me in that disgusting rotten place!”angel remarked word by word full of hate, his eyes shot nothing but venom as he kicked the nearest chair to him and sia flinched as her body connected to the dressing mirror and angel started laughing like a maniac, sia has never seen someone so crazy she was pretty sure the drugs Emiliano told her angel had been abusing turned him into a lunatic
“He’s your cousin… he loves you a lot angel… please lower the gun… please”she tried to reason with him at least to stall for time since Emiliano promised to come to her but why was he taking long she needed him. Her life was in danger and her husband was the only one to save her from trouble
“No… lies! the Alvaro’s are selfish hypocrites who left my parents to die… Emiliano is a filthy bastard who played the hero and made my parents hate me… so I’ll ruin him”he said with anger as he swung the gun carelessly making sia irritated her life was at stake and the lunatic in front of her was behaving like a total messed up idiot

“Let… go!”she shouted and pushed him awa, she reached for the gun and tried to take it away however Angel went crazy as he held the gun and tried to keep sia away, but she wasn’t backing down
“Let go, or I’ll pull the… trigger”Angel remarked with heavy breaths trying to get the gun but sia gritted her teeth and did everything in her powers to fight for her freedom
“It’s either you… or… me”she said still struggling to get the gun, but it was impossible and dangerous, she knew fighting with Angel was suicide and just asked the door burst open

A loud bang was heard and the person who had entered frozen, Sia’s face went pale as blood splashed on her face, Angel’s face had frozen in place as the gun fell to the floor
“Sia!” Emiliano shouted as he dropped his phone and rushed to hold sia who was stumbling back as if losing consciousness. In one swift he caught her as both sunk to the floor
“Sia… baby don’t close your eyes, please baby be alright”he said desperately as he searched her body trying to see where the bastard of a cousin shot her, her dress was stained with blood making it impossible to think of finf the bullet hole until
“It’s not you”he whispered more like in relief only to look up to the direction where angel was and saw him stumble back as blood dripped from the corners of his lips. He was holding his right l chest area just as Vincent and Carmen rushed in
“We heard a gun shot…em”Vincent started but stopped when he looked at sia then at angel who was on the floor gasping for sure as blood flowed to the floor and Carmen screamed in horror
“Oh my god… what happened…. sia honey are you okay”she said desperately as she dropped to inspect sia however she seemed to have frozen in place even Emiliano was lost as he tried to get her to talk, but she was just staring at him
“Emiliano get her out of here now… we’ll take care of Angel”Carmen said when she saw the condition Sia was in
“Carmen call the ambulance now!” Vince shouted as he took his clothes and pressed it hard on Angel’s wound to prevent him from losing a lot of blood and Carmen with shaky hands took out her phone to call the ambulance while Emiliano carried Sia in his arms and rushed out of the room.
“Baby stay with me please”he said as he kissed her on the forehead
“I… I killed him”Emiliano heard sia mumbled repeatedly and felt fear, he saw it in her eyes but thought she was just in shock due to the gun shot, but it was something else. She was blaming herself for whatever had happened between her and Angel
“No baby… it’s not your fault okay… stay with me”he got out of the house without minding the guests who were staring at her and immediately headed to the parking area and luckily Trey was there
“Sir… the police are on their way”he informed his boss and opened the door for him, Emiliano didn’t answer but carefully settled Sia in the car, grabbed the keys from Trey and got in as well. All he wanted was to take her somewhere far away. She looked scared, and she was shivering while talking to herself more like blaming herself for what happened to Angel
“I killed him… it’s my fault”she kept on saying, breaking Emiliano’s heart as he reached for her hair and pulled her to him, so she could rest her head on his shoulder while he drove the car as fast as he could
“Please… it’s not your fault… please sweetheart”he mumbled and ran his hand in her hair trying to calm her down, but his wife was scattered as she snuggled to him shivering

It didn’t take much time before he arrived at the same penthouse he had taken her the first time he found her in the rain. Emiliano carried her all the way up to the penthouse. He was on his way to buy a dress for his wife like she requested when the doctor from the rehabilitation center called him to inform him that Angel had escaped. He gave them important orders to keep him there and tighten security but he escaped and Emiliano knew who angel would target first that was why he made a Turn immediately and rushed back to the Alvaro mansion and straight to the room sia was expected to be in
“Hey… you will be fine”he said as he set hrr on the bed after making sure she had a change of clothing, throughout the drive sia didn’t utter a word other than the fact that she had shot Angel

Emiliano did everything to get her back to her senses but all his efforts were in vain. Emiliano made her lie down and covered her with a blanket and walked to the window as he answered Vince’s call
“Don’t worry dad… she’ll be fine… just make sure he doesn’t make it alive or so help me he’ll rot in jail”he said coldly and cut the call and walked back to sia and sat on the bed beside her and reached for her face, she was sleeping now which was for tye best maybe in the morning she would be fine again
“I should have listened to you… I apologize for this sweetheart”he mumbled in a guilty tone and lowered to plant a kiss on her forehead and kept his eyes on her, he wasn’t going to leave her alone.
