Ariella sensed that something was to go wrong soon, and she began to look around for any impending danger when her eyes spotted Jacinta looking at her in a deadly manner.
Ariella scoffed in mockery. For months, she was being trained in another world so she was fully prepared for whoever tried to hurt her or Jason.
Jason had just been coronated king and Ariella was beyond thrilled, she was so happy that she woke up in time, if not, she would have not witnessed such a beautiful moment like this.
Ariella stood up to go congratulations her newly coronated king when Jacinta also stood up with her claws already out ready to attack Ariella.
Jacinta stylishly got close to Ariella, with her claws visible to the people present.
Susan saw what her daughter was about to do and shook her head in disapproval, but Jacinta had none of it, her mind was already made up.
The people at the front, like the elders, Jason and Ariella, weren’t aware of what was going on behind them.
Jacinta proceeded to stab Ariella with her claws, then the unexpected happened.
Ariella, who pretended not to know what, happening quickly shifted and instead of stabbing her, Jacinta fell to the floor and now those at front attentions were all on her.
It was now like they were in a war front, the elders wanted to stop Jacinta, but Jason stopped them from doing so. Jason wasn’t worried, his woman was beyond capable of protecting herself.
Jacinta charged at Ariella with intention to stabbed her, but immediately she got closer, Ariella grabbed her hands, and quickly she was flipped over and landed on the floor.
Jacinta was shocked. How comes? She thought Ariella was a weakling, but it seemed she judged wrongly.
They began to fight in a combat like manner, exchanging blows, Jacinta kept receiving blows from Ariella and was unable to punch Ariella’s face even once.
Susan got angry and unexpected joined her daughter in the fight. It was now two people against one. Susan was about to attack when something happened.
As Ariella found herself in the midst of a fierce battle with Jacinta, her powers surged within her, ready to be unleashed. With a determined expression on her face, she began tapping into the elemental magic that flowed through her veins.
First, wisps of crackling lightning manifested around her fingertips, dancing with unrestrained energy. The surrounding air seemed to vibrate with the raw power she commanded. Then, a torrent of raging flames erupted from her palms, casting a warm glow across the hall as the heat intensified.
Next, tendrils of icy frost emerged from her outstretched hand, encasing the ground in a shimmering layer of frost. The temperature dropped dramatically, sending shivers down the spines of her opponents. Finally, the earth beneath her feet trembled and people began to hold on to something close to them so they wouldn’t fall down.
Ariella eyes were now shining so blue, it was as though she was possessed by a deity.
But after seeing that, Jacinta and Susan still decided to foolishly charge at Ariella.
Ariella lost her cool.
She crafted a sharp thorny ice trap, Ariella combined her mastery of water and ice bending. Drawing moisture from the air and channeling her energy, she formed razor-sharp icicles infused with the essence of frost. With a flick of her wrist and a focused intent, she wove these icicles together, creating a deadly trap of thorns encased in ice that entrapped Jacinta and her mother.
This intricate creation was not only beautiful to behold but also a formidable defense, capturing anyone who dared to cross its path with its icy embrace.
Ariella stood at the center of this elemental storm, a beacon of power and resilience. Her control over the four elements was a sight to behold, a testament to her skill and prowess as a wielder of magic. With each element under her command, she was a force to be reckoned with, a true master of the arcane arts.
The elders shook their head in approval. It was as though Ariella had proven to them that she was worthy of becoming their Queen.
Was she human? Who was she?
Well, that didn’t matter, she had mind-blowing powers, and they felt assured that she could protect the land from hurt.
“Long live the queen to be!” An elder shouted, and the rest of the people repeated the same word, cheering Ariella.
Ariella stood all smiles, watching as they praised her wholeheartedly. It was just her fate to be a Queen, even after being forcefully sent out of her kingdom, she still ended up as a King’s mate here.
Susan and her daughter tried all they could to free themselves from the icy trap, but it was all futile. It was a thing of shame as the people began to look at them with mockery.
Susan gritted her teeth in annoyance. Isabella smiled at her and waved her mockingly from where she sat.
Jason walked gracefully to Ariella and held her hands, proceeding to leave the premises when Jacinta yelled,
“Hey! Are you going to leave us trapped in this thing?”
“You are so lucky that I didn’t kill you. Until you learn to beg me, you’ll never get freed from that trap,” Ariella spoke calmly but firmly and turned to leave.
“Please, let us go,” Jacinta began to plead. She dropped her pride and began to beg, She was afraid already, this trapped was so tight and cold, she was allergic to cold.
“Sure, I’ll let you go when I want to.”
“Please! Please!!” Jacinta kept pleading, but Ariella never turned back.
The rest of the people began to leave, but not without giving them pitiful looks.
It was now remaining Isabella, Matias and them in the hall.
“How does it feel? Painful? No, it’s thrilling, right?” Isabella mocked them and walked to the door, when she got to the door, she turned back and said to Jacinta,
“Don’t die there, there’s more to be unraveled.”
A few hours later, after Ariella had gotten home and rested, she commanded the trap to dissolve, and it got dissolved over there.
Matias instructed his companions to carry the two women who had passed out to the car and after doing that, they drove away.
****
How dare Jason show up at that moment?
Jason stole his crown!
Jason won him once again!
Matias felt disgraced by Jason.
Matias fumed in anger at the thought of Jason being alive, he was going to deal with him and take everything that was dear and precious to him.
But that lady with Jason, he wanted her to himself.
Matias stood at his balcony thinking hard about Ariella, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, Mitchell wasn’t anywhere close to how beautiful Ariella was
He was so captivated by how beautiful Ariella was that he couldn’t get the picture of her face off his mind.
He was going to discard Jacinta and her mother, those people were of no use to him anymore. They messed things up for him by attacking that beautiful lady right in front of the elders and people of prestige, thus tainting their image.
“Alpha, the two women are awake,” Matias beta mind linked him.
Mathias instructed that they waited for him in the living room and as instructed, Susan and her daughter were shown to the living room where they sat and waited for him.
A few minutes after, Matias walked in and sat opposite them.
“I’ll just make it clear to you guys, our deal is off. We are no more partners and there will no more be a wedding.”
“What!” Susan and her child exclaimed simultaneously. It was a thing of shock to them, Matias was trying to abandon them. It was all Jason’s fault, if he hadn’t interrupted and brought that witch alongside him, they wouldn’t have embarrassed themselves the way they did today.
“Yes, you heard me correctly. Our deal is off, I will no more marry your daughter. You both will go your separate ways while I go my own way.”
“No, please don’t do this to me, I’m sorry, no! We apologize for whatever we did, please forgive us,” Jacinta knelt down on the floor and begged, but Matias had none of it.
“Stand up, Jacinta, he’s not worth it. Don’t beg him anymore,” Susan spoke and helped her daughter who was kneeling up.
“What did you just say?” Matias asked, angered by what Susan just said, he was not worth it?
“You heard me right. You are not worth it, for years you’ve always tried to defeat Jason and never, for once, have you defeated him.”
“That shows how weak and how much of a failure you are. And if you bring up the news of me poisoning Jason to the public, who would believe you? Don’t forget you are his well-known enemy, people will see you as the culprit, not me.”
