Jacinta’s wounds were being checked by a doctor in her room when Jason’s mother came in to check on her.
“Cinta darling, I’m truly sorry about yesterday, I never knew things will unfold that way, I’m genuinely sorry,” Isabella apologized sincerely.
“It’s okay mum, I understand. Mum! Please, can I ask for a favor?”
“Sure! What is it?”
“Please mum, I want to see Jason, and I’m terribly wounded on my feet, please ask Jason to come see me.”
Isabella agreed to Jacinta’s request. Jacinta was in that condition because of Jason; If he wasn’t the most powerful werewolf in the kingdom, no one would have attacked him.

Jason heard a soft knock on the door, without standing up, he ordered who was at the door to come in. Jason sat up hastily when he saw the person who entered was his mother. Isabella sat on her son’s bed looking at him intensely without saying a word
“Mum? Is everything okay?” Jason asked concerned when he saw the looks his mother was throwing at him. She always had this look on whenever she wanted something important from him.
“I just need you to grant me a favor. Will you?” Isabella had no intention of revealing the request to him until he agreed to grant it first.
“I’ll do anything for you, mum. I will grant your favor. So tell me what you want.”
“Go see Jacinta, son, she’s badly injured, and you know it’s all because of you. Please, son, go check up on her.”
“Sh****t!” Jason cursed inwardly. How could he forget Jacinta was in his house? He already promised to grant his mother’s request, and there was no going back.
*****
Jason knocked on Jacinta’s room door, and she asked him to come in. However, the sight that met him was unbelievable.
Jacinta sat on the floor like a monk and was making some enchantment. The room suddenly darkened and Jason got glued to where he was standing. Jacinta’s also eyes began darken, so did Jason. Jason lost his consciousness.
Alphas were given privileges to choose who they loved and wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. So no one could force themselves on an alpha except they were chosen.
Knowing that ordinarily Jason would never choose her, Jacinta resorted to hypnotism. Her mother was the strongest hypnotizer ever known, and she learned from the very best.
The penalty of forcing oneself on the alpha was instant death.
Jacinta stood up, raised her hands towards the ceiling holding a white chalk and immediately black smoke filled the room. In darkness, the room looked as though it was a shrine of one powerful witch. Jacinta took the chalk she held and drew a circle around where Jason stood. The circle drawn was an extra measure meant to keep the person being hypnotized even more trapped.
Jason struggled within himself, subconsciously. It was as though he lost his sanity, his mind was blank. He couldn’t think. He was alive, but not alive. What was going on with him?
The black smoke surrounded Jason in a circular form, ascending to the ceiling and then vanished. Immediately the smoke vanished, Jason’s eyes closed, his face dropped, but he was still standing.
Jason opened his eyes in another realm. The realm was creepy and scary. It felt like death. His body was stiff, he couldn’t move. Then, he heard a feminine voice,
“Jason, I Jacinta command and declare that you are mine! You will become bound to me till death do us part, starting from today. You have no right to love anyone else above me, even the woman that birthed you!”
The feminine voice kept repeating that statement over and over again. The voice speaking was familiar to Jason, but he couldn’t decipher who it belonged to.
Jason wolf finally awakened, sensing danger and ill intentions from Jacinta’s statement, it immediately sent a strong signal to Jason’s sleeping consciousness and the spell broke. Jason finally recognized whose voice it was.
Jacinta, who was deeply into what she was doing, didn’t notice Jason had stepped out from the drawn circle and was now looking at her evilly until a growl escaped from him, startling her.
Jacinta fell down on the floor, terrified. She opened her mouth to talk, but words failed her. Jason’s thirst to kill awaken, but he managed to control himself
***
Jason ran to his room at in inhumane speed like someone who was being chased. One of his hands was on his chest as his heart thumped quickly.
What just happened? That was a narrow escape. What would have happened if the spell didn’t break? Gosh! When did he become so careless and easy to get? If his wolf hadn’t alerted him, he would have fallen into a trap he wouldn’t be able to escape from.
Jason felt disappointed in himself. How could he let his guard down? How could he forget Jacinta could do everything and anything to get him?
To Jason, it was his mother’s fault. If she hadn’t sent him to Jacinta, this would never have happened. She knew he didn’t love her, so why was she trying to match make them. And as it seemed, Jacinta wasn’t leaving his house anytime soon, and that tired him out. Jason hated her presence and wanted her out of his house as fast as possible, but if that was to happen, he will have issues with his mother and that was the last thing he wanted.
“Jason!” Isabella unexpectedly appeared in Jason’s room, totally shocking him. She looked very furious.
“Mum?” Jason called with questioning eyes. When did she enter his room that he didn’t notice? And why did she look angry? He is supposed to be the angry one here and not her.
“How could you, Jason! I told you to go make her happy, not make her cry. Why did you push her?”
“Mum, what are you saying? I didn’t make her cry. What are you talking about?” Jason was confused. He never pushed her, even when the urge to kill her came, he still didn’t raise a finger on her and left.
“Seriously, mum, I didn’t…”
Poooooo! A slap stopped Jason’s explanation midway. Jason held his red face in shock, his mum slapped him? All his life, she has never slapped him. What exactly did Jacinta tell her?
As though it were a well-planned drama, Jacinta stepped in almost immediately leaping. Jacinta stood behind Isabella like a child seeking safety from her prey. Her leg was wrapped lightly with a bandage.
“She hit her leg on a hard surface after you pushed her and her already healing wounds opened up again,” Isabella continued, not giving Jason a chance to explain.
Jason fell silent, with his eyes not leaving Jacinta’s face. Isabella thought he had realized his wrong and was going to apologize, but Jason’s next action baffled her.
“Hahahahahahahaha,” Jason laughed loudly like a maniac, scaring both his mother and Jacinta. His laughter was so creepy as it carried a dark aura. After laughing, Jason headed to the door but stopped halfway. He faced Jacinta and said;
“I want you out of my house tomorrow or else…” He turned to his mother and continued;
“I’ll leave and never return.”
Jacinta panicked inwardly. Things didn’t turn out the way she had wanted it to. She wanted Jason to beg for her forgiveness after rejecting her. However, the reverse was the case, she was now at the verge of being thrown out.
“What should we do mum?,” Jacinta asked Isabella who was now looking aghast.
