Tracy forcefully pulled her hand away from Ariella’s grip and scoffed in disbelief. She couldn’t believe that this little parasite stood up to her.
“Who do you think you are? How dare you touch my hand, you little parasite?”
“Please, leave my room, Tracy!” Ariella uttered surprisingly, Tracy further. Tracy felt so embarrassed, Ariella just challenged her and not just in anyone’s presence but this disrespectful maid. What has gotten into Ariella? Ariella who was constantly trying to glue herself to her, was now the same person telling her to get out of her room. It was quite shocking and disturbing for Tracy. Tracy left the room angrily and slammed the door.
Ariella felt some guilt as Tracy left, but immediately waved it off. She had a lot on her head and couldn’t afford to be disturbed by Tracy’s nagging. She badly wanted you know why those wounds on that ladies body kept appearing and disappearing.
Daisy quietly stood looking at Ariella as though Ariella were an alien. She has never seen Ariella this angry and straightforward before.
“Me? Die?” Daisy scoffed inwardly. Tracy has always been rude to her, but Tracy telling her she was going to kill her was crazy! Does Tracy know who she was. Just one attack from her to Tracy could kill Tracy. She was so skilled in her ability and could easily destroy hundreds of armies with just a snap of finger, while Tracy was just a little child whose ability was still under growth. The only reason She hasn’t dealt with Tracy was because Tracy was her best friend’s child. That little girl named Tracy had a lot of audacity, and Tracy was so lucky that she couldn’t harm her. If not, she would have put her in her place a long time ago.
*** Meanwhile Earlier****
outside the kingdom, in a cave, Beatrice sat on her throne-like chair tapping her fingers slowly on one side of the chair. Beatrice was orchestrating many ways to take Fairy Paradise down. She would rule the kingdom! She will take what was rightfully hers. Beatrice stood up gracefully from the chair she sat on and walked around, still in deep thoughts.
Wait! Come to think of it, Agnes haven’t given her any feed back since yesterday and it was already noon. How dare that stinking brat keep her waiting. Without any regular update from Agnes, she would never know which area to strike. Agnes will be in grave trouble if she had no information for her.
Beatrice hastily walked up to her magical mirror which was attached to the wall and began casting some spells.
Baaaang! A crashing sound was heard. Beatrice was found lying on the floor with her hair disheveled and her hands on her head as she winced in pain. Beatrice stood up and limped, still holding her head with her hands. Apparently, something unusual happened; the time at which she began casting the spells was the same time Ariella touched Agnes and the strong energy that was emitting from the bracelet flowed through Agnes’s spirit that was being summoned to the one who was summoning her. The energy was so strong that it flung Beatrice to the extreme end of the cave, resulting in her hitting her head hard on the wall and also crashing hard on her belongings.
Beatrice limp and finally stopped at the front of where her magic mirror was fixed directly facing it. The first thing that came to her mind was to check if any unfixable damage was done to her mirror as the power she felt now was way stronger than hers and what she has ever felt in her lifetime and since the power was stronger than hers it could destroy her mirror beyond repair. Beatrice heaved a sigh of relief after confirming her mirror was intact and not even a scratch was found on it.
What she had just felt was real power, and she wanted it all for herself. But, seeing the energy flowed to her when she tried to summon Agnes only meant that it was a fairy who possessed that power and that person must have touched Agnes for the power to have penetrated her mirror and down to her.
Beatrice suddenly remembered something and ran to a shelf which she had built over the years that was at one side of the cave.
It took her some killings to build this shelf. She snuck in to other fairy kingdoms and stole their legendary books. Anyone who tried to oppose her was killed without mercy.
Beatrice searched the shelf frantically, rows by rows, searching for a book until finally, she found it. She immediately took a pen knife that was close by and cut her hand. As soon as her blood dropped on the book, it unlocked. She flipped through the book hastily until she found what she had wanted to see.
“Effect Of The Royal Bracelet On Dark Magic,” was a topic boldly written on the page she opened. Damn! She should have known, it was only the royal bracelet that could have done that. She wanted it and must get it. Not only that, but she was going to try accessing Agnes again later at night.
***Later that night***
Tracy and Agnes were asleep in Tracy’s room when suddenly the room began to shake like an earthquake was about to take place. The portrait in the room, the bed, everything in the room shook vigorously like they were going to fall, but they never fell. Tracy rolled restlessly on the bed, as though she sensed something strange was going on.
“Agnes! Agnes!! Agnes!!!” Beatrice’s voice was heard and Agnes, who had been sleeping for hours without waking up, charged up almost immediately. Agnes knew she was in huge trouble for not providing information to her mistress since yesterday. She hastily climbed the bed like a child who was being scared of getting hurt. Agnes faced the wall and started enchanting then, as though a screen was attached to the wall, her mistress began visible. Agnes, who was now facing her mistress, bowed her hair down, trembling. She couldn’t imagine the next punishment her mistress would give to her. Beatrice’s punishment were not light ones, she was ruthless when it came to her affairs and never forgave anyone who messed with her.
“Lift your face up, Agnes. I’m not going to punish you. Now you tell me what happened earlier,” Beatrice ordered, curious to know what took place earlier. Agnes, on the other hand, was initially surprised at how her mistress knew something happened. Anyway, Her mistress was powerful and had her ways of getting answers. She was also happy that she wasn’t going to be punished.
Agnes explained her side of the story to her mistress without omitting even a tiny detail. Agnes went further by also telling her mistress about Daisy’s confrontation, and that immediately caught Beatrice’s attention, making her more curious.
“What does she look like? Does she look like someone in her late thirty’s? Does she look as old as I do?” Beatrice’s curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn’t help asking. However, Agnes told her Daisy looked very young, like someone who was in her mid_twenties, and Beatrice’s curiosity died off immediately. Daisy was dead and long forgotten, what was important to her now was the bracelet. If Agnes could bring it to her, it will greatly increase her powers.
“Agnes. Tomorrow, when you meet the younger princess, I want you to discreetly check if she’s wearing a bracelet on her right hand.”
Just after Beatrice spoke, Tracy suddenly woke up and sat up. Agnes immediately turned and their gaze locked.
“Who are you talking to?”
