Liza went home with an evil plan in her head. She was smiling until she went inside and saw the inside of her big house without anyone except their maids. The smile on her face faded away when she realized how lonely she was when she was at home.
“Where are my parents?” She asked the maid who bowed in front of her.
She already knows where her parents were, but she still wanted to know where they were.
Are they fine? When will they come home? Would there be a chance for my family to be complete? Those are the questions she always wanted to ask her parents, but she cannot because they are not around.
The maids were nervous and scared. Their Lady Liza always asked things with a bad tone and attitude, like her parents’ whereabouts.
But the maids had only just one answer. “they are not here.”
The maids could see their Lady with disappointment in her eyes every time they answered her question.
They really pity their Lady Liza.
Liza went inside her room and dialed an unknown number. Someone answered the phone call after a few rings.
“Hello? It’s me, Liza” She said in a serious tone.
“Liza? Oh! Liza! It has been a long time since you called me. Let me guess, you need something?” The voice in the other line was surprised by her sudden call. It was her friend from high school. It is Susan.
“Yeah, are you still the head editor of your company? I need you to do something for me” Liza smiled. She knew this friend of hers will help her, just as how she helped Susan before.
Susan was also a poor kid way back in high school. She always gets low grades and scores during examinations because of malnutrition and lack of resources for education. That time, Liza saw her eating only a piece of bread during lunch break. Liza talked to her and promised that she will help her if she does what Liza asked her.
During high school, Liza always put herself into trouble, so the school principal always called her parents, too. Her parents never attended nor responded to the school’s invitation to address the attitude of their daughter. Instead, they always pay the school to avoid Liza from getting expelled.
The troubles that Liza did cause her to create enemies and rejection from her old friends, but Susan was the only person, whom she used for her own benefit, did not leave her side. Liza only wanted her parent’s attention, yet she never had or felt it before.
She always got rejected by everyone, including her parents. Every time she got treated like that the innocent Liza turned into a different one.
“Okay, give me details,” Susan said with a happy voice but deep inside, she was worried for Liza.
Is she putting herself into trouble again? She thought. If only she did not receive any benefits from Liza, she would never put herself from Liza’s craziness because Liza always brought trouble with her.
“Later” Liza answered.
“H-hey Liza, you are not going to plot someone, are you not?” Susan asked because Liza would never ask for help if she can handle her own problem, but it seems that she will plan to ruin something, what’s worse is ruining someone’s life and turning it miserable. That is the kind of Game that Liza plays.
Liza smiled alone inside her room. It was dark and lonely. She felt like she was living in hell and she was used to it.
She was always living all alone, without anyone… just alone. Maybe that is the reason why Liza turns out to be a vicious woman. She was neglected by her parents and did not receive any proper attention or guidance.
While preparing her biggest move to ruin Luna. Her phone suddenly rang. It is the photographer.
Today, Luna was pleased that Maximus would be getting discharged from the hospital. After so many weeks of taking care of Maximus, she finally has a chance to take care of the other patients at the hospital.
Luna and Maximus were talking outside the VIP ward. They are waiting for Mister Sun who was packing his things inside.
“You are really happy not to see me here anymore, huh?” Maximus said with an irritated tone. He even rolled his eyes imitating how Luna reacts to their conversation.
“It is not that I do not want to see you because I hate you or I want to avoid you. I just… I just do not want to see you here because people went to the hospital if they are sick, injured, or something else, right? I do not want to see you in that state” Luna said with a worrying voice.
Maximus’s brow lifted when he heard her explanation. She was concerned towards him and it made him happy and satisfied. He looked at her before giving her a smirk. Luna got confused by his sudden reaction.
“Why are you smirking?” She asked.
“Just tell me if you like me already. You don’t need to hide it” Maximus teased her while looking at her.
“I am not. I am just worried about you because you are my patient… ex-patient rather” Luna explained while smiling.
This man… really makes her blush and feels embarrassed every single time.
Not too far away, there was a man who was hiding near the stairs taking pictures of Maximus and Luna. Maximus was facing his back while Luna was facing the cameraman. She did not notice that someone was stalking them.
The man ran away afterward. He smiled after looking at the photos he got. His true objective was to capture Luna flirting with her patient. He had a picture of her smiling and laughing sweetly with Maximus, but the man did not capture any face of Maximus except his back.
He immediately called Liza after printing the photos. He already wanted to have the money that Liza promised.
“I already printed the photos. You can have it today. I’ll send you the photos myself” The man said.
“Let us meet at my place, make sure that you got a proper shot. I will double the payment if I am satisfied” Liza answered.
