Chapter 32 – Nice shirt.

Book:Mr. Bad Boy Saw Me Naked Published:2024-5-1

Adaline
“Hey. Cherry.”
“Cherry.”
“Cherry!”
“Adaline!”
I turned around, already annoyed. I glared at his grinning face, wanting nothing but bitch-slap the grin off of his face.
“What?”
His grin widened.
“Whatcha doin’?”
I groaned and continued going upstairs.
After I calmed down, Ayato took us to the cottages with his cars. I asked him about the others and how they will come home, but he just said: “Mom and dad will take them. If not, for that taxis were created.”
This is how a cold hearted man looks like.
“Cherry.”
I moaned in annoyance, and turned around again.
“How many times did I tell you not to call me Cherry?”
He just smirked in response. “I can make you moan louder than that,” My jaw fell at his words, my eyes widening. “Anyways, where are you going?”
I blinked a few times, my face suddenly hot.
“To my room,” I grumbled, then turned around again and went to my room’s door.
“Our room,” Ayato corrected. I furrowed my eyebrows as I entered my room with him trailing after me.
“Our?”
“Yes, our. Don’t you remember? You invited me to stay here.”
For the millionth time this day, I turned on my feet, and looked at Ayato in disbelief.
“How? When?”
He blew out a breath in laziness, showing me that he didn’t want to tell me the whole story.
“The first day we came here , which was yesterday, you got drunk.”
“What?!” I choked, my knees almost giving up on me.
“What you heard,” He narrowed his eyes at me, not wanting to repeat what he just said. I gritted my teeth, and glared at him.
He sighed. “We were playing a game at night. We needed to take a sip of beer every time we said something about us. You were taking small sips, but then Tyler began to make fun of you, so you drank the whole beer. Twenty minutes later, you were dancing on the table, giggling and flirting with everyone. You even tried to make a move on Jemima,” Ayato began to laugh, making me choke.
After he sobered up, he continued. “After I ripped you off Jemima because you were clinging on her you began to cling on me. You even began to pinch my muscles, saying that they were fake and that I put silicones in them. I decided that that was for the night, and took you in the room mom and dad put your clothes into, and put you in bed. When I was about to leave, you stopped me saying that you wanted me to sleep with you,” He finished, looking at me. My eyebrows were up on my forehead, trying to remember those things.
“That’s all?”
“Well, you even tried to give me a striptease show, but I stopped you. I’ll save that for another time,” He winked at me, making a blush coat my cheeks.
I looked at him, trying to see if he’s lying or not. When I was about to give up, he bursted out laughing.
“You really believed me,” He continued laughing.
I huffed, and went to my closet so I could choose some things to change into.
I took my undergarments, a pair of sweatpants and a tank top.
I inspected it for a few moments, then put it back in the closet. I won’t give Ayato a show.
I was ruffling to my clothes, when a white shirt tossed to the side of the closet caught my attention.
That probably is mine.
I took it, happy that I found a large, loose and comfortable T-shirt to wear.
I went in the bathroom, closed and locked the door after me.
A groan came from my roam. “No show?”
“No!” I screamed back at him, blushing furiously.
I changed in the clothes, and folded my black swimsuit.
I went to the sink, and leaned my hands over the edge, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
My hair was messy, my eyes were droopy and tired even if it was 5 PM(17:00), and my lips were dry.
I ran a hand through my blonde hair, and sighed.
Goddamm you Tyler, and your long ass nails.
I looked at the scars, and drew the tips of my fingers over them.
They’re not that bad. I could always lie about a cat scratching me or something. But why couldn’t I lie that to Ayato?
On a hand, I didn’t know how bad the scars were so I could fin a lie, but on the other, Ayato isn’t dumb.
I bet he dug his nails in girls’s waists and hips too, so he should know about this things.
I turned on the sink to cold water, and cupped my hand under the running water. I splashed water on my face for a few times, then turned off the water.
I’m a mess.
I just want to sleep.
I took a towel and wiped my face with it.
Putting the towel on the edge of the sink, I went to the bathroom’s door. I almost unlocked it, but stopped myself just in time.
I have to pee.
Finishing my business and cleaning my hands three times to make sure no germs are there, I unlocked the door and stepped outside.
Ayato was laying on the bed, his head leaning against the bedframe. His legs were crossed, his phone in his hands.
When he heard me closing the door, he turned his head my way, his eyes looking me up and down.
He stopped at my shirt, a smile tugging at his lips.
“Nice shirt,” He gestured to my shirt, making me look down.
“Uh, thanks?”
“It’s yours?” He suddenly asked. I raised up my eyes to meet his.
He was smirking.
I narrowed my eyes at him in suspicion. “Yes… why?”
He returned back to his phone when it buzzed. Stopping for a second, his eyes scanned the phone’s screen before beginning to type madly against the screen.
He finished, then looked back at me. My eyebrow was raised.
“Did you smell it?”
I furrowed my eyebrows. What kind of question is that?
“No… wh-” I stopped myself, smelling the shirt. It smelt of cologne. Ayato’s cologne. “Oh.”
He was watching me closely, smirking when he saw that I realized what I was wearing. His shirt.
I blushed. “Umm, do you need it? Do I have to take it off?”
Looking back in his phone, he smirked.
“No, sweet cheeks. You can keep it on you.”
I looked down at the shirt.
“Are you sure? Because I can- hey!” I jumped a little when I felt his arms come around me. I put my hands on his shoulders.
“No. I said you can keep it on you. I love how my shirt hangs on you,” He murmured, and tucked his head in the crook of my neck.
My face felt hot at the somewhat intimate moment we had.
This is wrong. This is so wrong. We aren’t together!
My breath hitched in my throat, when I felt him raise the shirt on me, until he slipped his hands in.
My heart was beating inside my chest so hard and so fast, that it made me almost faint for the second time this month.
“Cherry Lips, please don’t faint on me again. This time, I won’t let you,” He murmured beside my ear, his hit breath making me shiver.
I swallowed nervously, and trembled. His hands were exploring my bare back, his lips pressed on my neck.
Slowly and steady, his hands were traveling further up my back. They stopped abruptly, then started to draw circles in a place. With my hands now on his chest, I tightened my hands in fists, and closed my eyes, letting out a shaky breath.
I felt him smirk against my neck.
“Mmm, this is gonna be favorite shirt from now on,” He suddenly whispered, his voice coming out husky. He raised his eyes up to meet mine.
I swallowed again.
Lust.
His eyes held lust.
Good God, I’m going to faint.
“Adaline,” My name rolled out of his tongue, like it was meant only for him to call me that. I sighed, making him give me a devilish smile.
“You aren’t wearing a bra, are you?”
That’s when he killed the moment.
I stopped breathing, my eyes widening considerably.
I pushed him off of me, and went away from him.
“I’m gonna sleep anywhere else this night,” I said, and began to walk towards the room’s door, my whole face feeling very hot.
He was laughing.
“Where are you gonna sleep? Everyone has a room. This is the only room you can sleep into.”
I stopped and turned around, giving him a challenging stare.
“Oh yeah? I’ll sleep with Jemima.”
Ayato smirked. “Yeah? Finnegan will sleep there too. Don’t you think you’ll disturb then if you go there?”
I huffed, and crossed my arms over my chest.
“Finnegan will come here to sleep with you.”
Ayato mocked me, and also crossed his arms over his chest.
“I won’t ruin my cousin’s fun. He is with the girl of his dreams. What kind of a person would I be if I wouldn’t let them two sleep together?”
I let out a heavy, annoyed sigh.
“Okay! You’ll sleep on the floor then!”
“Oh no. You’ll do that. I won’t sleep on the floor.”
I groaned. “Fine! I’ll take the floor!”
I stomped outside of our room, and went downstairs.
I plopped down on the couch, and put my hands on my pockets. I sat up straight, my heart almost jumping out of my chest. My phone?! Where’s my phone?!
“Ayato!” I shouted. In a few seconds, I heard some rapid footsteps coming down the stairs.
“What?!” A voice groaned. I turned around, panicked. Ayato was giving me a nasty look, his shoulder leaned against the wall beside the stairs.
“Where’s my phone?!”
He shrugged, avoiding my eyes. “I don’t know.”
I narrowed my eyes at him. “Don’t lie.”
If I remember correctly, when I was in that bathroom at the beach, and changed myself in the swimsuit, I left my clothes and phone in a plastic bag. When Zach took me in the water, I was very careful for the bag not to touch the water. Then I left in the town, my bag still with me. It’s true that I dropped the bag when Ayato dragged me in the alleyway, scaring me, but when we left, he took it.
My phone is at him. I’m one thousand percent sure of that.
“I’m not lying,” He shrugged, still not looking in my eyes.
“Aya-”
I stopped when I heard the front door open and closed. We turned our heads in the front door’s way and saw Zach coming.
A smile took over my face. I stood up, and went to him.
“Zach,” I breathed out. “What are you doing here?”
Zach eyed Ayato suspiciously, then turned to me, a smile on his face.
“I was worried about you,” He surprised me by engulfing me in a hug.
“Oh,” I let out a surprised sound, and awkwardly patted his back.
He got out of the hug, his gaze fixed on Ayato. I turned around, and saw Ayato putting my phone on the coffee table in front of the couch. He turned to me, a blank look on his face.
“There’s your phone,” He growled out, and went upstairs. I scowled at his sudden change of emotions. What got his boxers in a fit?
I blushed, immediately remembering the text messages me and Ayato exchanged that time at the party.
But the question is: From where does he have my number?
“I took a look at what she was doing and saw her typing a number which seemed as to be mine.”
Oh well. I have to ask Jemima about this.
“Lili? Are you alright?” A hand over my shoulder made me snap out of my ‘how-to-kill-Jemima’ thoughts.
I turned around. “Huh? Oh yeah.”
I forgot that he calls me Lili now.
“Are you sure?” He leaned in closer to me, his eyes scanning my face in worry and concern.
I smiled. “Yeah. Thank you for your concern.”
He gazed into my eyes for a little bit more, then surprised me with yet another hug.
“If there’s anything wrong, you know you can tell me, right?”
I smiled at his sweet words, and hugged him back.
“Yeah.”
This guy is very… sweet. A girl’s dreams. And here I am. I was asked out by him, and I just gave him the cliché response of “I’m going to think about it.”
I know my decision. Even if it came fast, and I didn’t have time to think more carefully about it. I know my decision.
We stood like that for a few moments, until I decided that it was time for me to speak.
“Zach. I have my answer.”
He got out of the hug, his hands on my shoulders.
“You do?!”
I nodded my head and smiled.
“You’re gonna say no, right?”
I nodded my head, but then shook it when his words fully registered into my brain.
“No! No! I want to go to a date with you!”
“You’re kidding!”
I shook my head, smiling. “Nope.”
He was looking into my eyes, his mouth agape, making me nervous. Maybe he changed his mind…
“Yes!” He exclaimed, and put his hands on my waist, raising me up in the air. He twirled us around, making me put my hands on his shoulders to steady myself. We laughed, and he put me down.
He leaned in down to kiss me. I froze.
When he saw that I didn’t respond to the kiss, he retracted.
“I-I’m sorr-” He didn’t have time to finish this sentence because I wrapped my hands around his neck, standing up on my tiptoes. I pressed my lips against his.
He was surprised, but slowly, he began to respond by snaking his hands around my waist, moving his lips with mine.
I feel like this is a start of a new love.
