Mommy, Please, Help Sandry
BLAINE
Oh. My. God. He is here.
He came.
He stood there like a fallen angel. His eyes landed on the signposted on the glass door. How did he find out that I lied?
He had scruffy and looked rugged. I meant, he was still handsome though, with disheveled hair, dark circles under his eyes. His crumpled clothes like he had been sleeping on them for days, but I still wanted to jump on him right now. Get a grip, Blaine.
My heart leaped in my chest and my skin instantly tingled in anticipation of his kiss, his touch, and him inside me. Crap!
Holy crap!
The door swung open and chimed. He walked inside, then stopped and roamed his bluer eyes around like searching for something. Or maybe for someone.
I froze in my place, knees weakened to his presence. My hand gripped the counter for support as his eyes landed on Ethan. A large hand grip on my waist made me more stiffen.
This was my first time meeting Ethan since our last encounter. I had to agree with him in return for his silence.
Oh, God, please.
Then before I could blink the customers yelled in unison. Xandry’s fist was already on Ethan’s jaw, sending him sprawling down the floor. He hovered Ethan, furiously punching him repeatedly on his face.
My eyes widened, I stood still while looking down at them rolling as Ethan got a chance to punch back Xandry. I flinched, their fists and faces were both bloodily stained.
“Mommy, please, help Sandry.” I blinked, realizing my son was watching all this time. My hand was instantly on Ben’s eyes, though it was too late because he’d already seen what happened.
“Oh, my God! Enough!” But my voice was like nothing to them as they continued punching each other.
The two men walked toward them to pull them apart from doing further damage than they already got, and they started scaring patrons as well.
“You fucking asshole, you hand on my woman again you will get more than punches!” Xandry’s angry and possessive voice thundered. He breathed heavily as Keith, the bulky man wrapped his arms around him to prevent him from launching another punch at Ethan.
“You’re an asshole, fucking manwhore! She is not your woman if you haven’t figured it out yet. She was mine before you even came here and swung your dick around!” Ethan pissed off Xandry more, but they were both held tightly to even make another move for another round.
“Stop, stop! You both are disrespectful to the people around here and my son is listening for Pete’s sake. Show some manners, and for the love of God, I’m no one’s property!” I yelled, and Xandry’s sad eyes bore into mine, and I had to swallow the emotions that threatened to show up.
“I will sue you, asshole—”
“Ethan!”
“Oh, for fuck’s sake, Noelle! He was the one who came here and punched me in the first place, and everyone here has witnessed who’d assaulted me,” Ethan sneered, showing his bloodstained teeth.
“Stop cursing, Hall! We have audiences and some are minors.” Xandry’s adrenaline has still not dissipated.
“Oh, just now you realized what damages you had caused?” I sarcastically pressed, “you shouldn’t have on each others’ throat if you think before you do it in the first place.”
Finally, Keith let go of his arms when he tended to regain his posture, and so as Ethan on the other side. Xandry had a swollen face and eyes and a bleeding mouth.
Ethan got a good punch on him, but Xandry gave him good damage to his face as well. At the corner of my eyes, the owner nodded with understanding with a small smile on her lips.
My face flushed with embarrassment. I’d just realized I was the reason why they were fighting. And for the love of God, I didn’t remember them giving them right over me.
“Stay away from her and my son, Williams, and go back home before I will put you in jail!” Ethan threatened, and my stomach suddenly lurched.
A sudden coldness hit my bone, making me shiver. My eyes were already wet as the tears finally fell down to my cheeks.
“Sweetheart—”
I raised my hands to stop Xandry from getting close to me. “I can’t be with you, Xandry. I’m back with Ethan.”
He stopped and chuckled bitterly, and I could see the hurt and sorrow shadowing in his eyes. The most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen were no longer sparkling, they were now filled with questions and disappointment. “You’ve got to be kidding me, Blaine. Don’t do this to me, I told you I’m coming and here I am. Just let me explain.”
Ethan laughed with mockery while some eyes were still on us and others were back in their seats. “Don’t bother, Williams, just get the fuck away from here—”
Xandry eyes narrowed into slits, finger-pointing at Ethan. “One more word coming from your—”
The doorbell chimed, making Xandry stop. “What’s goin’ on here?”
My body had gone rigid to the sheriff’s voice. Someone must have called him.
And of course, Ethan started, “Arrest this man who just came out of the blue and punched me on my face.” Showing his bruised face to the officer, but the officer shifted his gaze to Xandry who had the same damage.
“Um, officer—”
“Noelle!” Ethan cut me off, and I got tongue-tied as if he reminded me of his threat.
“It’s okay, Blaine. I’ll go with himwillingly,” Xandry murmured, looking down at the floor as if he was suddenly ashamed of what he did earlier.
“Now, let’s forget what happened, shall we? And no one will let this out, what happened here, stayed here,” Belinda, the owner announced.

“Why the hell didn’t you tell us, Blaine Noelle Harris?” Riley growled, his hands already on his hips.
I drove to the bar after calling him for an emergency and my parents were already there before I and Ben arrived. I guessed, someone informed them of what happened at the coffee shop not so long ago.
“He can’t get close to you and my grandson, Blaine. You knew what he signed for.” Daddy narrowed his eyes at me, and I sat down on the chair, cowering from them.
I didn’t know how to tell them about the video on Ethan’s phone. I still had a little respect for myself. And what would my son think about me when he grew up knowing my affair had gone viral?
“Blaine, you better talk, or I’m going to jail for murder if he laid his hands on you. I can’t believe you are stupid enough to take him back and allow him to get closer to your son! He blackmailed you, was he?” Riley was beyond pissed as he continued, and I just looked down at my hands on the table.
“Whatever happened between you and Xandry, I don’t wanna know, sweetie, but you have to tell us what provoked him to punch Ethan. I guess he doesn’t know Ethan was—” Mom hesitated as she didn’t want Ben to know about his relationship with his father. “And you two didn’t end well?” Mom added.
“I don’t think Xandry will come here to punch him,” Daddy concluded, “so you better talk, Blaine. You can’t let that man sleep in jail while he’s miles away from his family. I better go to the station. He’s my responsibility now.” Daddy was quickly on his feet, and it alarmed me.
“Daddy, I already broke up with Xandry and I don’t know why he’s here all of a sudden. I think he found out about Ethan,” I implied.
“And you?” Riley asked, eyes pinned on me remorselessly.
“There is noand you,” I mumbled.
“But it doesn’t tell like it, Blaine,” Riley said unapologetically.
Tears welled in my eyes. “He said he has a medical report of how you and Finley beat him up—”
“And you listened to that ass—to him?” He leaned his hands on the table, breathing heavily.
“That’s not it, okay!” I jerked to my feet causing the chair to stumble down.
Riley stood up straight with brows furrowed in confusion.
“H-he threatened me—”
“He can’t fu—fudging do that to you, Blaine. Why didn’t you trust the papers? The lawyers! Your fudging family and me! I’m here all your life for eff’s sake!” His eyes widened with anger and disappointment.
I shook to sob. “I said that’s not it,” I said stubbornly and looked at them with blurry sight, and they patiently waiting for me to continue, “Ethan saw me and Xandry, and he has videos of me and Xandry on his phone.”
I heard Riley cursed and walked out of the bar. The door slammed after him. I hugged myself for the embarrassment I’d caused to my family, to myself, and to my son.
“Sweetie, we can solve this chaos if you just tell us before it comes to this. You know he can’t do that to you. What he did was wrong, he invaded your privacy, and he trespassed on our property.” Mom rubbed my arms and kissed my forehead.
“No, Mom. He will appeal to the court that Riley and Finley forced him to sign the contract and he will show the videos of my misconduct and for being an irresponsible mom. He will use it against me to get full custody of Ben. He has Ben’s DNA and nothing’s gonna change that.” I looked at Ben. He sat where Dad had seated earlier, playing his The Flash figure.
“So, he used that to threaten you? How about Xandry?”
“Ethan told me to stop seeing him, and I don’t know how Xandry came here because I already told him that I moved to another city.”
“Let’s go to the station, Uncle Bob.” Riley came back inside. “Xandry called me earlier to confirm if Blaine is still here, and I told him you never leave.”
“Why did you tell him?” I asked, glaring at him.
“Why not? Why would I lie asyoudid?” He glared back. “You just put that man in jail, Blaine. This is because of your narrow mind and you don’t trust your family. And God, Blaine, are you out of your mind? Did you forget what that piece of sh— did to you?”
“Do you think it was easy for me, huh? For God’s sake cut me some slacks here. Because it hurts like hell. I care about my son and I was hardly breathing when I thought of him would be taken away from me. I’d rather die, and you all hated me than losing my son to that piece of sleazeball who broke my heart? The moment I was happy, suddenly, it was taken away from me. Do you know how does it feel?” I glanced at Riley. “Of course, you don’t because you never fall in love and never get hurt. For Pete’s sake, I care about Xandry and I just ripped my heart out of my chest when I broke up with him, and you have to ask him the reasons why I did that. I don’t want another baby to be raised without a mom because of my selflessness.”
