Anita eyes became red, I saw smoke coming out of her head.
“How dare you Delvin! ”
“How dare you talk to me like that?” Anita said angrily.
“What’s going on here? Everyone turned and saw Lexy standing few meters away, hands in his pocket looking at us.
“Anita bullied Rita”, I walked towards him.
“Who asked you?” He replied looking at me from head to toe turning away.
I step backward in shame.
“Lexy” Anita called him, bursting out in tears, ” delvin insulted me”
“What?….” Lexy asked as anger clouded his features.
“What did you do to her? Like a flash, he walked up to Delvin and held him by his collar, tightly.
“Take your hands off me Lexy, you should caution your girlfriend not to take advantage of other people vulnerability”, delvin hissed at him and yanked his hands off his shirt.
“What do you think you are?” Lexy scoffed.
“Are you not also taking advantage of these two monkeys you are protecting?” He did not turn, he knew we already knew who he was referring to, Anita and I of course.
Anger surge through me, did he just call us Monkeys?
“Call them names again, and I will smack your teeth out of your mouth”, delvin warned taking Rita by the hand as I helped her pick her bag..
I looked at Lexy and our eyes met.
“why are you so mean? Why do you feel like hurting people means nothing to you?” My shaky voice was filled with anger.
“Does telling lies meant anything to you?…” He hissed.
“Does deceiving other people to impress them meant anything to you?”
His gaze met mine as he walked closer towards me.
My breath itched.
“Kelsi, does running into delvin’s arm shamelessly meant anything to you?” He leaned his head closer to me.
“You disgust me Kelsi! you really do”, Lexy voice was soft as he walked away arm around Anita waist.
Tears pooled out of my eyes

I could hear the sound of music as we entered into the venue for the party, Collins house was very huge and well decorated.
I was not surprised all my classmates comes from rich home, different lights were coming from the house with many cars parked outside.
I recognized some that belongs to my class mates.
Delvin parked his car and came around to let Rita and I out, everyone seems to know who had arrived since most of them were looking our way while some don’t give a damn.
Yeah! Delvin is also the most handsome and popular after Lexy, and I was the popular maid&liar with Rita being the girl Anita and her crew bullied that almost made Lexy and delvin fight.
As we walked in i noticed in comparison to all the girls there i was the most simple dressed.
We finally made it to the room
“Hey delvin! What’s the maid doing here? Is she here to serve us?” One guy asked with a slur, he was obviously drunk.
“Shut your big mouth bayo! she’s not a maid”, delvin angrily grabbing his collar and strike him hard on his jaw.
“Delvin stop! Leave him alone” Rita cried out and he calmed when he saw how terrified she was.
Server him right, I smirked, while looking around with my heart beating fast by the seconds.
The music was turned down and everyone turned to listen to what the birthday boy has to say.

Loud cheers came out from every corner of the room.
“There are lots of food and drinks, eat, dance and enjoy the night, because it is my party!!” Collins screamed.
Girls and boys were rushing to the dance hall, everyone was rocking eachother dancing wild.
