He kept working untill we reached our company. When the car got stopped all of us got off the car and headed to the building. When we reach the company tge receptionist informed that Benjamin Scultz was here and waiting for Mr Gold in his office. He nodded and walked to the elevator.
I and Liam was tailing behind him as always and we hot inside the elevator and it soon started to go up to the top floor. The atmosphere in the elevator is not that good because Mr Gold was back to his cold face again. He don’t had slightest of piece of the gentleness on his face as he had bacj at that lakeside a while ago.
He was looking at his watch as the elevator go up. I don’t know what was he waiting for, I mean I knew that he was going to meet Benjamin Scultz but I don’t understand why was he so anxious about that. He got out of elevator and walked out as soon as the elevator stooped and walked directly into his office. Liam and I was following him slowly. As the door of his office opened there was a man around his fifties well dressed in some custom made suit and next to him was Ms Bella Scultz. She was also wearing something expensive, she was holding one if his hand and talking to him with a smile on her face. She seemed so intimate and happy. Her face lit up as she saw Me Good walking inside the office and she got up of her seat to welcome Mr Gold.
“Finally you are here Willis” She came to Mr Gold and hold his arm. I felt a kind of knot in my chest seeing her holding his arm like that and more likely Be Gold letting her hold him like that.
“Hello, Mr Scultz. I’m sorry I was busy with the construction works. I hope you didn’t have to wait for too long.” he reached his hand out to Mr Scultz.
Mr Scultz shook his hands with Mr Gold with a big smile on his face. He then shook his face “No that’s fine. I had my beautiful daughter accompany me all the time. So I don’t feel bad at all” he said.
Mr Gold nodded slightly. And then he asked “Why don’t you wait for me here for a while more. I’ll came to you in a while” he said pointing at the sofa.
“Of course, I know you must be busy. And I came without notifying you” Mr Scultz said.
“Thanks for understanding Me Scultz. Don’t worry it won’t even take a minute. I just need something to explain to Liam.” he said
“I totally understand. You go ahead. I have my daughter here”
Mr Gold nodded and went to his desk and talked with Liam. They were watching something on the computer and Mr Gold was explaining something to Liam. I can see Liam nodding at Mr Gold.
“Who is she? I don’t saw her here? ” Mr Scultz asked.
“Oh dad, she is Willis’s personal assistant. Don’t worry about her” Ms. Bella said.
But I can clearly see a fine line of frowning on Mr Scultz’s forehead. He wasn’t happy at all to see me.
“Why don’t you go and get some coffee for me and my dad? ” Ms Bella said to me with a face filled with a smirk. I nodded at her and left the room to make them coffee.
What was that smirk supposed to be? So really don’t seem like a good person at all in thimat filthy smirk.
I went to the kitchen and thankfully this time there wasn’t any employee at the kitchen to make things worse. I out out two cups at first but then I thought if Mr Gold and Liam. They’ll soon be joining them anyway. I took out another two cup of water and made coffee. As I was done, I went back to the office with coffee in my hand.
I pushed the door with my elbow and went in. Everone was looking at me. Mr Scultz looked at me with disgusted face , Ms Bella seems to be happy to see me like thy because she was smiling at me. Thankfully Liam came and took the tray off me and put it down in front if the table. I went up to it and handed them each a cup of coffee. Mr Gold ms Ms Bella took it. But however Mr Scultz didn’t seem to like. He didn’t took the coffee at all. I tried to say something but he spoke first ” I never drink coffee.” I looked at Ms Bella and she still has that grin on her face. And soon it disappeared and she looked y her dad with concerned eyes.
“Oh I forgot that. I’m sorry dad. I’m really sorry. It was my fault, I told her to make coffee for us all. I really forgot about that” then she looked at me and I got sure didn’t had a good feelings.
She smiled sweetly and said “Can you make another cup of tea for my dad Riley? I really forgot that he don’t like coffee”
I had no choice but to do as she said because she was the vice president of the Golden Company. I nodded at her and took the tray as I walked towards the door but Mr Gold stooped me on the way “don’t go. ”
I looked back at him in surprise why would he say that. Then he continued “It’s time to get home already. So, I’m taking him to the tea outside ” he then looked at Mr Scultz “Or what about dinner together tonight? ” he asked to Mr Scultz.
Mr Scultz seemed more than happy at the offer. He nodded quickly to Mr Gold and said out loud ” Why not, for sure” he laughed “It’s been a while we hadn’t eat or drink together anyway. ”
I was on the door and they all got up from the sofa and happily walked outside. I was there dumbfounded. I looked at the time and it was already five by then so I decided to go home.
“Go home safely. Riley” Liam waved his hand to me and waved back to him.
I left the office after a while. When I reached the outside they were already gone. But the employees on that floor were still packing up. Some of them catch up with me.
“Hey, I know you are our ceo’s personal assistant. What is your name? ” onr if them said.
“Yeah, it’s not fair. We work together in the same floor and we don’t even know each others name. ” another one said.
“Let me start with me, I’m Tyson Rogers” the third one said.
I smiled at him and said “I’m Riley Wilson.”
“Ohh, I’m Bey Scott. You can call me Scott or Bray. I don’t mind at all” the second one said with a smile.
“And I’m Jack Logan” the first one said.
“Nice to meet you all” I bowed a little. They seen ti be good people. They were all the same age as Mr Gold.
“Nice to meet you too.” they said.
“So, are we friends? ” Bray asked.
“I hope so ” I smiled at him.
“Why don’t we all go together to the compound.” Logan suggested and the others also nodded.
I can’t say no and I also agreed. We all went inside an elevator. I was not a talkative person but thankfully I don’t have to talk more here. All of them were talking so much. They were asking me where I lived, where did i worked before here. And then they all said about them too.
By the time we reach the ground floor there were a lot of people going back to home. I saw Anyee in there .
“Oh, I see a friend of me. I need to talk to her. So see you all later ” I waved at them
“OK, see you too Riley”
“Bye Riley”
“Go home safe”
They all screamed towards me. I felt a bit embarrassed like that because people were looking at me. I lowered my head and then to Anyee.
I hold her hand and dragged her out of the building.
“Hey what are you doing? Wait a…” She kept protesting but I don’t listen to her and take her to the parking lot. I stopped in front of her car.
“I need lift to my home. ” I said.
“Is this a way to ask for lift? I won’t say no even if you ask me in a good way” she said as she open the car.
