After I get away from their sight, I went to a dark alley before taking of my clothes one by one. And then I put them on a small bag. And then turned intoy wolf.
Ray’s pov
I took the clothes off the ground and hold them on my mouth. After that I ran… I ran and ran my untill my whole thoughts git vanished.
I like running from very small. Unfortunately I only can run after my eighteenth birthday, After Willis turned into his animal form.
I like running as it clears my mind, I like the touch of wind as I run, I like the smell of mud and woods. I feel alive as my paws can go wherever they want, when my paws can feel the earth.
When dad said those words to Willis, of course I was hearing them and I… I was totally scared and panicked after hearing what he said.
I ran and ran untill I was deep inside the jungle. I stopped there and took a deep breathe . I was tired but I don’t wanna go out of my own pack.
“Willis” I called him.
He lazily wake up and looked at me.
“Can’t we stay? ”
“Like here? In the middle of jungle? ”
“Yes, it’s quite peace here. ”
“A city is waiting for me. ”
“A city or Riley? ”
“What? ” he exclaimed in shock. “It’s you who’s possessive over her not me. ” he said trying to be dry footed on the top of water.
“I know you started liking her.”
“No ”
“Willis you can’t lie to me… ”
“It’s not what you are thinking… ”
“You keep thinking about her, staring at her and waiting for her to reply your chats ” I said rolling my eyes at him.
“Yes I do but…. It’s the mate bond that does this… ” he said with a cold stern face.
“I don’t need her… ” he said.
I got quiet because he was right. He really don’t need her, it was me who can’t stay without her. It was me who always tries to go near her, even or without mate bonding.
I throw his clothes on the ground next to me and silently gave the control of the body to him.
Willis’s pov
I wonder if I made this guy sad. Because he never give the control to me in normal days. He wanna live as much as he can.
Well… Bye bye to those thoughts, it’s already getting dark soon. I better move fast.
But where should I go? He ran to this deep jungle and now I need to go back on foot? Really? Arhh my Mercedes is far away from him.
“Ray please we need to go back. ”
Ray didnt respond to me…
I ran towards the orphanage as soon as I can. But I was still slower than my giant beast. And soon I was panting so hard to caught air to breathe . Ray needed some run while we came but whilw going back I was getting the the punishment. However I didn’t gave up and reach to the Mercedes after few minutes of run.
When I reach there, all the children were inside. I got a bit confused, should I went in and say goodbye to the kids or should I let the kids know after I was gone.
Then Lilly, she’ll be sad.
I shook my head and went in. Lilly came to hug me. I hugged her back.
“I’m going now. OK I’ll go back to A city but when I came back I’ll came to visit you. ”
“Ok Uncle . Please come to visit me whenever you got time. ” she said with a smile.
“Be a good girl and obey the teachers, OK? ”
“Ok Uncle. ” she smiled once more.
“You look preety when you smile.”
“Is that so? ”
I nodded at her.
“Then I’ll smile even more from now on.
She said.
I gave her a goodbye kiss and left the orphange .
I got back on my Mercedes and got back to A city. It was already midnight as I came back.
I hadn’t seen her the whole day….
I went in and jumped in my bed as I slowly drifted away in the dreamland.
When i woke up, it was early. I didn’t want to sleep at all even though I didn’t slept so long. It was our speciality that we were much powerful and faster than human being but we need so less rest to heal or relax our body.
I got up and went to bathroom to give myself a long shower …
While I was in the bathroom, the doorbell rang. I wonder who it was… Liam? No he can’t be I didn’t gave him any task. Was it Riley again, to leave the food at the door and ran away after ringing the bell.
I sigh. I quickly washed myself and wrappe my lower half with towel and went to open the door.
To my much surprise, Riley didn’t ran away today. She was standing there with food box in her hand. She quickly covered her eyes with one hand as she saw me.
“Don’t you like it? ” I asked her and I can saw her face flushed red in an instant.
“Put on your clothes. I need to talk to you. ” she almost shouted.
I lean down towards her I can smell her mesmerizing scent filling my nose and her breathe tickling my bare chest. I can even hear her heartbeat as I reach near to her.
“We can talk like this too, if you want? ” I said in her ear, and her ear turned red as a fried prawn.
“No, please first put some clothes on. I have bought your breakfast too. ”
She shouted as she extend her hand to the me just to get bumped into his body. I can feel current flowing down to my body as she touch my chest. And i can feel her nervousness through the mate bond.
I was wondering how the butterflies started flutter inside me when it stopped as she pull her hand back.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” she said as she turned away.
“Come in and sit. I’ll go change my clothes. ” I said to her going back in.
I wear my tuxedo and pants quickly and went back to living room. She was seated on sofa.
She look so to be once and soon she turned her head away.
I went to the sofa and sat down next to her. Then I grabbed the box of food she bring here.
“Have you eaten? ” I asked as I open them. And there was scrambled eggs along with some bread toasts. It was quite more for a single person.
“Have you eaten? ” I asked.
“No” she replied still not looking at me.
“It smells nice. ” I inhale the smell of the food.
“Go and get two plates from the kitchen. ” I said to her. I wasn’t going to finish it alone anyway.
“No no. That’s fine. I’ll eat back at home. You have it.” she refused.
“Why? Why can’t you eat with me? ”
“No, it’s not like that. I mean they are waiting for me. ”
“They? Who are there waiting for you ?”
“Camila, Ethan.. ”
“And Jason? ” I asked as I know he’ll be there of course Whenever h got chance.
She nodded at me. I was so uncomfortable. I don’t know what to say or do. I guess it was so obvious in my face. She was staring at me. I quickly tried to comoose myself.
“If there are so many loving people waiting for you back at home, why did you came here. Why don’t you ran back after putting the food in the door? You love to do that, don’t you? ” I asked cupping her face up and make it closer to mine.
“Ohh, that I need to talk to you.” she said hesitantly.
“About what? ” I got up from my seat and went in to the kitchen. I put the food from boxes on the plates.
I went back with two plates on hand and handed one to her. She took it from me and smiled akwardly.
“If you don’t wanted to eat with me in the first place why were there so much for me alone. I bet you put it for two people. ” I asked.
“No, it’s not like that. You ate a lot at the night before. So I thought I should increase your breakfast too. ”
What? Did she think I’m that much foodie? Leave it change the topic.
“What do you want to talk about. ?” I ask.
“The offer you gave me. “she said. And i knew she’ll came to me one day to talk about me.
