I gave the order to the kitchen and went to other tables.
People have started coming in and many tables were being filled. I took the orders from other tables till the food was being ready. Whenmy order was ready, I went back to the kitchen. I collected my order and came back to Liam.
“Here your order is sir. ” I served him his food.
“Ohh, thank you Cami ” he nodded to me.
“Please enjoy your lunch sir. ” I said to him and proceed to other tables.
I felt someone looking at me all the time I was doing my work. I felt a bit weird. But it didn’t last long because Liam went out of restaurant as soon as he finished his meal.
After he went out, I really felt so free and relieved.
The day just go on as usual and I have already forgot about other things because of the busy work. But about three at the day, a man entered the resturant….
He had a tall and muscular body. He had a bright smile on his face. He had a long nose with pointed chin. It made his look more handsome than ever. He had a perfect jawline around his chin and it was being seen whenever he smiled. He carries a positive aura around him.
He was wearing a simple T-shirt in plain black along with black trousers having two lines at its both side. He entered the resturant and his started moving around the people inside the resturant. He was looking for someone.
And that someone was me. I was seeing Jason for real after two years and he hadn’t changed a bit, except for his height and matured look. He was a bit little short back than and his face wasn’t mature at all, it was so innocent and childish back than.
I quickly turned my back at him. I don’t want to give him a easy win. I looked around and moved to a vacant seat and stood aside of the table. It was not the table of my duty.
I knew he must have seen me and recognized me from my back view too. But I didn’t turn to him at all. I acted like I never saw him. I act like arranging the table and napkins. After that I went back to the kitchen.
I was peeking him through the kitchen door. He was smiling brightly and he went to the table which I just re-arranged a while ago. He stay there looking towards the kitchen. And i know he was looking for me.
I smiled at that. I knew him for years back than. I was sure he will say there if he saw I will serve that one.
After a few while, I went out taking some orders of people at my tables.
I get them their orders and turned back. In front of me was Jason. He quickly waved his hand as soon as he saw me. I bowed to him too.
“Hello sir ” Persia greeted him.
He turned to look at her and nooded. Then he looked back at me. He was about to say something but Persia interrupted him.
“Here is the menu sir, what do you want to order? ” she asked.
He looked at her confused and then back at me.. I wanted to laugh my heart out at this part. But I don’t want him to take it as forgiveness. I ignored him and went to my another table. It was not that far and I still can hear them.
“Sir, please give me your order ” Persia requsted again.
“Why are you serving me? I want her to serve me ” he said maybe he was pointing at me.
“But sir, this is my table. I mean this table is under my duty. ” Persia said.
I took a peek at Jason. All the happy and bright colour on his face had been faded in an instant. He looked so pale and helpless. He turned to look at me and I also turned my head away from him.
“Please get me a glass of water ” Jason said in a voice with no energy on it.
“Sir…. ” Persia sounded helpless.
“It is already here. ” she pushed the water near Jason.
I looked at them, I really wanted to laugh at Jason now. He was like a little baby who is about to cry. He take the glass of water and gulped down in one go.
“Here, it is finished. Get me another one ” he gave the empty glass to Persia. She hesitated for a while, then she picked up the empty glass and headed towards the kitchen.
“Come here ” He said looking at me.
I went to him and said in a indifferent and calm tone “May I help you sir? ”
I looked at him and he stopped frozen looking at me.
“Why are you behaving like you don’t know me? ” he asked.
I didn’t answer his questions and kept looking at him. He was more pale than before.
“Are you not going to forgive me? ” he asked.
I didn’t say anything this time either.
“I’ll do anything you want. Just don’t do this to me. Don’t act like we are strangers ” he said with a sad voice.
I wanted to say, I was just joking and I have forgiven him. But I wanted to tease him and see where can it go?
I don’t reply to him either this time.
“Why are you doing this to me? ” he asked.
“Doing what sir? ” I asked him innocently.
“This…. This is what I’m talking about. I’m not your sir, you don’t need to bow to me. ” he said impulsively.
“It’s my work sir. I need to respect my customers in my office hours. ” I said to him. And this pissed him off.
“OK then, I’ll wait for you till the office hour to end. ” he said and got up from his table.
I wanted to stop him but Persia came there.
“Where are you going sir? ” she asked.
” ”
Jason didn’t replied to her. And moved out of restaurant.
“What happened to him? ” Persia asked me.
“I don’t know even” I shook my shoulders.
All the day went by. It was a busy day. I and Sophy had our dinner together without Cami and we missed her so much.
After the office hours , Iwent out of the resturant and to my surprise Jason was still there. He was standing beside his white car. I didn’t thought that he’ll wait for me this long, almost six hours . I went to him this time. He was angry with me as well. I can see his anger in his eyes.
“Hi ” I waved at him.
“Let’s go ” he said.
“Where are we going? ” o asked him.
“You said…. I mean i waited untill the office hours to end. And it’s not office hours ” he said
“and…. ?”
“We are going somewhere ” he said not even looking at me. I felt a bit guilty for him. He had came all way just to meet me and I didn’t talk to him properly. But I just wanted to show him that it feels bad when your best friend ignores you.
“I’m tired Jason ” I said looking at him.
He quickly turned to me and stopped staring at my eyes.
I withdraw my eyes and went inside his car.
He also came in and sat on driver’s seat. He buckled his seat belt and moved toward me to do mine.
“I’ll do it ” I said as I tied my seatbelt. I then look at him. He was staring at me and looked away.
“Where are we going by the way? ” I asked him.
“No where Leyson, just rest today. ” he said.
I stopped at him calling me Leyson.
“So how was your these two years? ” I asked him.
“Quite good ” he said ” Tell me about yours. Why did you left your house? ” he asked me
I stopped there and looked at him. He was looking forward and driving the car carefully. He looked at him when he felt my glance at him. I quickly moved my face aside.
He knew my everything, he knew the part where I and Sarah parted further because of Emily and Rose.
He knew the part where my mother used to make me do all the house chores and she used to play with Sarah all day, he knew the part when Sarah was showered with luxurious clothes and toys when I was wearing Sarah’s old clothes. All of these was after that incident with Sarah and he knows it too. All the love I would receive would be from my father and he knows it too. He also knew if there is any new toy or clothes with me, it was only from my dad
All he don’t know was that my mom sold me to a Rich pervert just for few millions. And my dad doesn’t know about it. All he don’t know was my father thinks I left my house on my own, when i didn’t.
