“Do you think I’ll let you off the hook?” Leo sneered, pulling out the table leg that was lodged in Mateo’s hand.
The excruciating pain made Mateo scream again.
The onlookers felt a chill down their spines and some of the more timid ones quickly looked away, unable to watch.
“Stop!”
A cold shout came from outside the courtyard gate and a group of people rushed in.
Leading them was an old man with a dark expression on his face.
When Mateo saw him, he felt like he had been saved by his grandfather. He cried out, “Grandpa… save me…!”
After shouting for help, Mateo passed out immediately.
The old man who appeared was none other than Lambert, who had played chess with Leo before.
When Lambert saw his beloved grandson being trampled underfoot and bleeding profusely from one hand, he went berserk, “Leo! Let go of my grandson or I’ll kill you!”
Leo glanced coldly at Lambert and lifted his right foot to kick Mateo away.
“So it’s you who raised this piece of garbage,” said Leo disdainfully because Lambert had instructed his disciple Bruno to kidnap Sophia earlier.
This sentence enraged Lambert so much that his blood pressure skyrocketed. Trembling with anger, he pointed at Leo with his right hand and shouted like crazy, “Kill this parasite for me!”
The thugs who came with Lambert immediately surrounded Leo and prepared to beat him up together.
However, how could ordinary people hurt Leo when he was a cultivator? In less than a minute or so all seven or eight thugs brought by Lambert were lying on the ground screaming in agony.
This scene not only frightened Lambert but also shocked everyone around him again. When they looked at Leo again, it was as if they were looking at a monster.
If it weren’t for being such an abnormal creature, how could someone easily knock down seven or eight strong men?
Such scenes were only seen in TV dramas or movies.
Leo clapped his hands together after warning Lambert, “Take your obedient grandson and get out of Langstel! If I see him again, I will beat him up every time we meet.”
After warning Lambert thoroughly, Leo walked over to Sophia’s side, pulled her up, and said lightly, “Sophia, let’s go.”
Sophia nodded, letting Leo lead her away from the so-called wedding scene.
Jessica also pulled Martin up from his chair and quietly left without a word.
In fact, when Jessica saw Mateo slap Bethany, all the anger in her heart dissipated. If Lucia had originally arranged Jessica’s seat in the front row, she might have expressed sympathy for Bethany’s unfortunate wedding. But now, all she could feel was schadenfreude.
What was supposed to be a joyous wedding turned into a farce and tragedy, proving the old saying: heaven may forgive sins but man cannot!

“Master, Vincent has failed and died at Leo’s hands,” said a tall man with a centipede-shaped scar on his forehead respectfully.
Oktrar’s expression remained gloomy with no emotional fluctuations as he spoke in an eerie tone, “Useless thing. He deserved to die.”
“Master, I can confirm that this guy named Leo is an immortal cultivator,” said the man respectfully again.
The black aura in Oktrar’s eyes became more intense as he spoke with an extremely evil tone, “The blood and spiritual power of immortal cultivators are the most delicious things for us demonic cultivators. North, what Vincent failed to do will be completed by you.”
“Yes master! I won’t let you down!” North Carver replied loudly.
“Leo easily killed Vincent which means he has made new breakthroughs in his cultivation level. We must be cautious when dealing with him.” Oktrar flipped his right hand over and revealed a pair of jet-black gloves that were forged using fourth-grade magic beast skin personally refined by him.
“This is an attack glove made from fourth-grade magic beast skin that can greatly enhance your combat power when worn against Leo.” Oktrar threw it at North who quickly caught it; he showed gratitude on his face and exclaimed excitedly, “Thank you master for giving me such treasure!”
“In any case, Leo must die. This world will eventually belong to us demonic cultivators; we absolutely cannot allow immortal cultivators to exist!” Oktrar’s voice was cold-blooded and merciless.
North raised his hands high and spoke in a reverent voice, “You will unify the world and reshape the glory of magic cultivation!”

Location: White Dragon Club.
Raiden was lying on a sofa in a luxurious private room with two model-level beauties snuggled up to him, one on each side. The table was filled with several bottles of high-end liquor.
Raiden took a puff of his cigarette, glanced at the time, then grabbed the buttocks of the black-dressed beauty next to him and said, “You two go out first. I’ll talk business later.”
The two beauties pouted playfully before getting up and leaving. Shortly after they left, there was knocking at the door outside followed by three people walking in.
One person wore gold-rimmed glasses and looked thin with an air of sophistication despite being over fifty years old. However, he also appeared somewhat timid.
Rather than saying he walked in himself, it would be more accurate to say that he was pushed inside by the people on either side who then said, “Mr. Cervantes, we brought him here.”
After speaking these words, they promptly left while shutting the door behind them as they stood guard outside.
The man pushed up his glasses nervously before swallowing hard as if choking down some saliva while looking flustered.
“Simon,” Raiden beckoned Simon Haggai over but when he didn’t move.
Raiden got up instead and dragged him onto the sofa beside him before pouring Simon a drink which they clinked together for cheers.
“Simon,” Raiden continued speaking after taking a sip from his glass. “Why are you so nervous? We’re just talking about cooperation here! I’m giving you money for your services since I heard that you’re Leo & Rose Cosmetics’ technical director! You know all about Rosemary’s formulas?”
Simon remained silent as Raiden extended three fingers towards him saying, “Thirty million dollars! As long as you tell me Beautiful Visage’s secret formula right now, then I’ll transfer all that money into your account immediately!”
Simon’s body trembled slightly as he hesitated before stuttering out, “Mr. Cervantes… I can’t give you… the secret formula… Miss Fanny has been good to me…”
“Forty million!” Raiden raised another finger again without hesitation or mercy towards Simon’s plight.
“I’m sorry but Miss Fanny trusts me… I can’t betray her…” Simon replied weakly.
“Fifty million!!” This time when Raiden shouted those words, it sounded like thunder because anger had already taken root deep within his heart.
