Chapter 589 Neat and Tidy

Dagen widened his eyes, staring in disbelief at Jacob. Incoherent words spilled from Dagen’s mouth, “Young Master, you, you…”
Dagen’s blood splattered on Jacob’s face, transforming his fierce expression into something terrifying.
Dagen slowly collapsed, his breath fading away. Jacob gingerly pulled the knife from his body, saying, “Sorry, Dagen. I’ll make it up to you in the next life.”
Mavis, awakened by the murder, turned to run, but Jacob, quick on the draw, hurled the knife, embedding it in Mavis’s back. Mavis turned slowly, looking at Jacob with a mix of sorrow and resentment before falling to the ground.
In just over ten seconds, Jacob dealt with Dagen and Mavis, showing his ruthlessness.
Now, only Leo, Sebastian, and Jacob were left in the dungeon.
Jacob retrieved the knife from Mavis’s back, fixing his gaze on his father, Sebastian.
Sebastian shivered, “Jacob, what are you going to do? I’m your real dad!”
Jacob, now with bloodshot eyes, stared directly at Sebastian like a wolf eyeing its prey. However, he hesitated to strike.
Leo reminded him, “Jacob, fifteen seconds left. If you don’t act, you’re dead.”
In a frenzy, Jacob screamed and rushed forward, not towards Sebastian, but at Leo.
Leo kicked him to the ground. “Jacob, you’re still human. If you killed your father, you’d be no better than a dog.”
Then Leo seemed to recall something. “The instigator, Kerr, isn’t here. Sebastian, Jacob, let’s go to the villa’s living room. We’ll have some fun with Kerr.”
In the villa’s living room, Kerr, May, and Ann were already under the control of Bob’s men. The three looked terrified, huddled together.
Soon, Sebastian and Jacob were thrown into the room like two dead dogs.
Ann rushed to Sebastian and Jacob, crying, “Sebastian, Jacob, what happened to you?”
When they saw Leo walk in, Kerr and May looked at him like they had seen a devil. Their bodies trembled like sieves.
At this moment, the two finally realized the terror of Leo.
Leo walked to the main sofa, sat down, crossed his legs, and remained silent.
Sebastian and Jacob quickly crawled to Leo, incessantly kowtowing and begging for mercy.
Leo clapped his hands, a gleam of interest in his eyes. “Alright, now that everyone’s here, let’s continue the game.”
Hearing the word “game,” despair filled Sebastian and Jacob’s eyes once again, nearly causing them to collapse. Kerr, May, and Ann, however, looked a bit confused, not understanding Leo’s meaning.
Leo had Chasel bring a dagger and tossed it on the ground.
Sebastian and Jacob both went for the dagger, but the younger Jacob managed to grab it.
Only with the dagger in hand did Jacob feel a hint of safety.
“Jacob, congratulations on getting the dagger. The rules of the game remain the same. If you want to stay alive, you have to play along!” Leo’s words had barely left his mouth when Jacob, holding the dagger, lunged at Kerr.
As Jacob stabbed Kerr, he cursed, “Kerr, you bastard! It’s all because of you. I’ll stab you to death!”
Seeing his son instantly turn into a bloodthirsty killer, Ann was paralyzed with shock, eyes and mouth wide open, unable to utter a word.
May, coming out of her terror-induced stupor, tried to crawl and scramble towards the living room door.
Just like in the dungeon, Jacob threw the dagger, hitting May square in the back. She fell to the ground, motionless.
In the blink of an eye, Jacob had dealt with two people. Even the gray zone big shot, Bob, shivered at this scene.
This play was too ruthless, too brutally effective.
Jacob pulled the dagger from May’s back, then with a ferocious and insane expression, he slowly approached Sebastian and Ann.
In Sebastian’s heart, fear dominated. He pleaded desperately, “Jacob, what are you doing? I’m your father; you can’t kill me!”
As for Ann, she remained wide-eyed, unresponsive, likely having suffered a mental breakdown from the terror.
“Clang!”
The dagger slipped from Jacob’s hand, and he collapsed like a sack of mud. Despair and breakdown consumed Jacob as he lay on the ground, staring blankly at the ceiling. “Leo, you devil, just kill me. Let my parents live. Otherwise, even in death, I won’t let you go!”
Despite Jacob’s violent tendencies, he couldn’t bring himself to harm his own parents.
Leo stood up from the sofa.
Sebastian, thinking Leo was going to personally kill Jacob, hastily grabbed the dagger from the ground. He shouted hopelessly, “Leo, please, don’t kill my son. I’ll kill myself. I’ll do it now!”
After saying that, Sebastian gripped the dagger with both hands and stabbed it into his own abdomen.
Jacob was the sole heir of the Bernard family, so Sebastian couldn’t and wouldn’t let him die. Faced with the choice of only one surviving, he had to opt for self-sacrifice to ensure Jacob’s life.
“Dad…!” Jacob’s extremely miserable cry echoed through the living room as he crawled towards Sebastian, disregarding everything.
