Levi’s moves changed rapidly, his left arm bent to block. While he managed to block Chasel’s powerful punch, the force behind Chasel’s fist still made him retreat a few steps. After that move, Levi’s left arm was slightly numb from the block.
Chasel sneered, “Your move is not bad, but your strength is lacking.”
“I think you’re looking for trouble!”
Levi roared and unleashed his full strength, attacking Chasel again. Jab, roundhouse kicks, footwork maneuvers, Levi’s every move was powerful, with intricate angles, simple yet effective. However, he couldn’t seem to land a hit on Chasel.
Chasel didn’t let his guard down; he carefully countered each of Levi’s moves.
At this point, Chasel realized that Levi wasn’t just an ordinary bodyguard. He had undergone professional training and even had some attack techniques that resembled those created in their military.
Although the two appeared evenly matched, anyone with some combat knowledge could see that Chasel was maintaining the upper hand.
Leo had a faint smile on his face as he watched the two fight. Fights between skilled fighters had a captivating quality, and it wasn’t surprising that many enjoyed watching them in the ring.
In combat between experts, if one couldn’t surpass their opponent in technique or strength, they had to rely on endurance and stamina. In just a few minutes, Levi’s breathing had become heavy and his attack speed slowed down. In contrast, Chasel was in better shape, maintaining good form with his punches and evasive maneuvers.
Finally, Chasel seized an opportunity, locking Levi’s leg with a swift motion. Then, with a powerful twist, he sent a sweeping kick crashing into Levi’s chest. Levi instinctively tried to resist, but his right leg was caught and he didn’t have time to react.
“Bang!” After that sound, Levi felt like a huge hammer had struck his chest, and he let out a muffled groan as he was sent flying and landed heavily on the ground.
After taking such a heavy blow, Levi knew he was no match for Chasel. His eyes flickered with a cold light, and he signaled one of his men among the spectators.
That man understood and reached for his waist. Chasel, emerging from a group of onlookers, was already in front of the man before he could fully draw his gun. The moment the man raised his gun, he felt as if he’d been electrocuted, and the gun slipped from his grip.
By the time he realized what had happened, the gun was no longer in his hand. Simultaneously, he felt something hard and cold pressing against his forehead.
This sent shivers down the man’s spine, and beads of sweat instantly formed on his forehead.
“Pulling a gun in front of me, what a joke!” Chasel’s lone-wolf hero aura burst forth, and he shouted, “If anyone dares to pull out a gun again, I’ll blow their brains out right away!”
With the gun in his hand, Chasel felt the familiar rush of hot blood in his veins. That long-lost and yet so familiar feeling seemed to have returned.
Levi, lying on the ground, stared in disbelief at Chasel’s gun-snatching technique. His eyes first widened, and then he exclaimed in surprise, “You… You’re from the Flying Dragon Camp?”
Levi had undergone professional training in the military, and their instructors, one of whom had taught them the technique of quickly disarming opponents, had executed the same disarmament technique as Chasel just had!
Levi was aware that this instructor came from the mysterious Flying Dragon Camp. Seeing this remarkable disarming technique again here couldn’t help but astonish Levi, and it made him suspect that the person he was fighting against was associated with the Flying Dragon Camp.
When Levi mentioned the “Flying Dragon Camp,” Chasel looked slightly surprised. “How do you know about the Flying Dragon Camp?”
Levi quickly replied, “Our previous training instructor came from the Flying Dragon Camp. His name is Steven Stuart.”
Saying this, Levi hurriedly instructed his men, “Don’t draw your guns!”
Chasel kicked the man in the suit in front of him and handed the gun back to him.
“I didn’t expect you were trained by Steven Stuart,” Chasel said calmly, facing Levi.
Hearing this, Levi knew that Chasel was familiar with Steven Stuart, and a hint of joy appeared on his face. His biggest dream in life was to join the Flying Dragon Camp.
The Flying Dragon Camp, as the ace of aces among world’s special forces, had very strict criteria for recruitment, only accepting nine individuals nationwide each year.
Levi had applied for selection almost every year, but he was rejected each time.
Anyone who could enter the Flying Dragon Camp could be described as the king of special forces. Today, Levi had lost to a member of the Flying Dragon Camp, but he didn’t feel ashamed. He was even somewhat proud because he managed to hold his own against Chasel for nearly ten minutes before being defeated.
When he sparred with Steven Stuart before, he could last at most five minutes.
“May I ask, what’s your relationship with Steven Stuart?” Levi couldn’t help but ask.
When Steven Stuart was mentioned, Chasel’s pupils briefly revealed a subtle, hard-to-detect trace of sadness. In a deep tone, he replied, “When I first joined the Flying Dragon Camp, Steven Stuart was my squad leader.”
Seeing that Chasel’s expression seemed off, Levi cautiously asked, “Is he still with the Flying Dragon Camp, or has he retired?”
“He… passed away,” Chasel’s tone suddenly turned indifferent, as if he were discussing something unrelated to himself.
Levi opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something but, in the end, he didn’t utter a word. In the Flying Dragon Camp, life and death were ordinary occurrences.
“I’m no longer with the Flying Dragon Camp, and my identity and what happened today, I hope you and your people won’t spread it,” Chasel’s expression became serious, with a mix of request and threat in his tone.
Chasel was well aware that if news of his Flying Dragon Camp background spread, it would undoubtedly bring him a lot of trouble.
Levi quickly nodded and said, “I understand, we will keep it a secret.”
Leo stepped forward, speaking without much emotion, “The winner has been decided. Now, it’s time for you to fulfill your previous promise.”
Levi gritted his teeth and asked, “What do you want me to do?”
Leo waved his hand impatiently. “Where you came from, go back there.”
“We’re leaving!” Levi, though not pleased, had no choice with someone from the Flying Dragon Camp present, so he had to leave.
Soon, more than ten people got into their vehicles and departed.
Leo looked at Chasel and asked, “How do you feel now? Is your back okay?”
Chasel replied, “I’m fine. This amount of exercise isn’t a problem.”
