“What do you think the card that person handed over is? Why did it make the restaurant manager kneel in front of him?”
“Could it be the VIP card for this restaurant?”
“Forget it, I also have the VIP card for this restaurant, why didn’t the manager kneel before me?”
“I know! This restaurant is owned by Azure Cloud Group. Could the guy with the card be a high-ranking executive of Azure Cloud Group?”
“Can’t be. A man wouldn’t easily kneel before his superior.”
Amidst the speculations of the onlookers, Manager Becky returned the card to Leo and began slapping himself on the ear.
While slapping, he said, “Mr. Bloomer, I was wrong. Please forgive me. The turtle is a gift to you, and if we receive any more of them, we’ll deliver them to you right away.”
“Manager Becky, have you gone mad?” Derrick couldn’t understand Manager Becky’s sudden change. Hearing that he wanted to give the turtle to Leo, he quickly signaled Lester and Rupert next to him, “Grab it from him.”
Lester and Rupert rushed forward to confront Leo, but they were no match for him. With a swift kick, they both ended up splashing into the fish pond, just like Derrick before them.
Manager Becky feared that these reckless second-generation rich kids might anger Leo again, so he hurriedly leaned in close to Derrick’s ear and whispered something.
Without a doubt, Derrick’s expression changed after hearing Manager Becky’s words. Then, he glared at Leo fiercely and ordered, “Let’s go!”
Derrick’s sudden surrender surprised Lester and Rupert, but after being kicked into the water, they now had a newfound understanding of Leo’s strength. They didn’t dare to act recklessly and quickly crawled out of the pond, following Derrick to leave.
Leo placed the turtle on the ground and told Nicola, “Keep an eye on it for me.”
Then, he walked up to Derrick, blocking his path. “Leaving just like that?”
“And what else?” As a second-generation rich kid, Derrick knew that even if he admitted defeat, he needed to maintain his dignity.
“You should apologize,” Leo said earnestly.
“Apologize?” Derrick chuckled, “Do you think you can make me, with your Card, apologize? Let me tell you, there’s no way!”
Smack!
A crisp slap sounded, and Derrick didn’t even see how Leo moved. He only felt his left cheek swell up.
“What the hell, you hit me again! I’ll fight you!” Derrick howled and lunged at Leo.
As expected, he was kicked over by Leo again.
“Lester, Rupert, fight him!” Derrick groaned while clutching his stomach.
Seeing Leo’s composed demeanor and remembering his powerful kick, Lester and Rupert didn’t dare to attack.
Leo walked up to Derrick and squatted in front of him with a smile on his face.
“What do you want to do?” The kick just now almost left Derrick gasping for breath. Although he acted tough, the pain in his body made him afraid of this man.
Leo took out a silver needle package and removed one of the needles, saying calmly, “You’re sick, and I’ll give you an injection.”
“You’re the sick one…” Derrick’s words were cut short as Leo’s lightning-quick hand plunged the silver needle into an acupoint under his armpit.
“Ha ha ha…” Derrick suddenly burst into laughter, scratching his own body frantically.
“Ha ha ha… so itchy… so itchy…”
Frantic scratching caused bloodstains to appear on Derrick’s stomach and back.
This itch felt like it reached the depths of his soul and then transformed into extreme pain.
Derrick couldn’t bear it for long and begged for mercy, “Stop, please, I was wrong. I… I’ll apologize… save me…”
The scene that appeared on Derrick’s body terrified Lester and Rupert. They looked at Leo in fear, wondering if this guy was using some kind of dark magic!?
Leo squatted down, quickly pointed his right hand towards Derrick’s waist, and pulled out the silver needle that had been inserted into his body.
The strange itch on Derrick’s body finally disappeared, and he couldn’t help but take a deep breath. The feeling just now was like being plunged into hell, a living nightmare he would probably never forget in his lifetime.
When Derrick looked at Leo again, fear was evident in his eyes.
Leo stood up from the ground, saying calmly, “Apologize.”
With Lester and Rupert’s support, Derrick also got up from the ground and looked at Leo with fear in his eyes. He uttered softly, “I’m sorry.”
“Can’t hear you,” Leo shook the silver needle in his hand.
“I’m sorry!” Derrick said loudly.
“Get lost,” Leo finally stepped aside.
With Lester and Rupert’s assistance, Derrick left with a dejected look. The two women they brought along, who had been watching from afar, quickly followed.
Manager Becky approached Leo with a fawning face, holding a disposable large box, “Mr. Bloomer, I was wrong. I sincerely apologize to you here. Please accept this white jade turtle.”
“Everyone is born equal. Manager Becky, after what happened today, I believe you have a deeper understanding of it,” Leo accepted the turtle from him.
Manager Becky nodded repeatedly, “Mr. Bloomer, you’re right. I will keep this lesson in mind.”
“Miss Pater, let’s go,” Leo called out to Nicola.
They both walked out of the restaurant, and Nicola asked curiously, “So, you got the turtle, and you don’t even have to pay for the meal?”
“With this black card in my hand, I don’t need to pay for meals,” Leo chuckled.
“What kind of card is this? How did you get it? Let me see,” Nicola said, intrigued.
Leo took out the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon Supreme Card and handed it to Nicola.
After examining it carefully, Nicola puzzledly said, “Apart from the exquisite design on the surface, there doesn’t seem to be anything special about it. How did you get it? I want to get one too.”
“Someone gave it to me,” Leo replied.
“Who?”
“You probably don’t know her. Her name is Renee Browne. I cured her daughter’s illness, and she gave me this black card.”
“Renee Browne!” Nicola’s eyes widened.
“Do you know her?”
“I haven’t met her, but I’ve heard some things about her. It seems like she’s the daughter of the Chairman of Azure Cloud Group. And the restaurant we just dined at is under Azure Cloud Group. No wonder that manager was so afraid of you.”
Nicola handed the card back to Leo, and they headed towards the underground parking lot together.
“Leo, not only are you good at gambling, but you’re also excellent at fighting, and you have talent as a goalkeeper in soccer. The more I see of you, the more appealing you become,” Nicola teased.
“So, you didn’t find me appealing when you first saw me?” Leo asked.
“Guess!”

“Do you want to pursue me?”
“Keep dreaming!”
The two bantered as they made their way to the underground parking lot.
