“How could you say that in front me, huh?! I gave all my life looking for you. I didn’t stop. My world almost crumpled to pieces when I lost you! I lost everything, my life, my dreams, my happiness and I lost the man of my life! The man who promised me of forever!” I shouted with full of rage.
My tears were welled up. I want to spend all my strength to hurt him to ease the pain I was feeling but no, I just became weaker and my wound’s got deeper.
I couldn’t do anything when he pulled me into an embrace while I kept on punching his back.
“I hate you! Get out of life, I don’t need you!” I frantically shouted.
“No, please… don’t say that…” he said in a sharp breath, his hug tightening.
“I can’t do this anymore, Zeki! I’m tired, I had too much!” I cried.
He withdrew and cupped my cheeks. His dark eyes bore into mine. I gasped, I want to look away but he didn’t let me.
“Yes, I admit I married, Alessandra without knowing my past. But from the very first day when you stepped into my life again. My nights were never normal ever since. You’re the girl in my dreams, you’re always in my mind. There not a day I didn’t think of you and nights I couldn’t sleep thinking about you! You turned my life up side down without knowing who you really are and that was fucking kills me!”
“I don’t believe you!” I shook my head down.
He let go of me and slowly moved away. I watched how his jaw worked so hard. His dark glare became even darker.
“You may leave…” I said coldly. But the heat of my heart was still there, trying to hide it deep.
He licked his lower lip and looked at me intensely. Before I knew, he grabbed my waist illegally and pulled me closer to him.
I looked up at him as my body starved for oxygen. I can feel his grip tightened when our eyes met.
I couldn’t move for a moment. I felt the electricity in my skin. My body began to freeze and my breathing labored. I’m caught between anticipation and cold rage.
His musky scent soared through me as he lowered down and teases me.
“W–What are you doing…” I said in my tight lips.
“I thought you knew my heart…” he said in a deep husky voice.
My lips were trembling as I tried to fight my feelings. But in the end, I couldn’t do anything but to cower and accept what he said.
In one gentle pull, our skin mingled together. His hands alight on my skin like a fire burnt through me.
He rested his forehead to mine and whispered…
“Yes, I forgot everything, but I remembered where my heart belongs to…”

I stared at the mirror with my white lose T-shirt at black leggings. My body began to change. My chest became bigger and my hips wider. My belly is slightly bigger now. Everyone will start to notice and realize that I’m pregnant.
I sighed and went out of my room.
“I’m leaving, Trina, If Ellwood arrives, just tell him I’m at Iseah’s.” I told her before entering my car.
“Okay, be careful with driving! ”
She ran to open the gate where I drove out.
I plan to visit the kids, we haven’t met these days so I missed them already.
After a few minutes, I arrived at their house. The kids looked so happy when they saw my car. Iseah also came out to wait for me to get off the car. When I got out, Zia and Kesha immediately greeted me with a hug.
“Ate, why did you only visit us now?” Kesha pouted her lips.
I glanced at Iseah before answering her. “I just got busy! But I have something for you inside the car!”
“Yes!” they synchronized. “Thank you, Ate Mary!”
After I gave them my gifts, Iseah told them to go to their rooms while Iseah led me to a cottage to talk.
“I heard something happened about the party.” he started while putting the juice and glass on the table.
I collected my hair that was flying around because of the wind before glancing at him.
He looked at me dimly but I saw a bit concern in his eyes. I slightly nodded and dropped my eyes. I don’t know how the news reached him.
I wasn’t that shocked, I don’t have anything left to hide anyways. The news of Hezekiah being alive quickly spread. And I know, his public appearance had bad effects to my company specially to our business partners.
I heard him sigh heavily so I raised my head to him.
“We didn’t come to the party because I chose to stay here and wait for him to visit us. Right now, I’m just getting news from Rupert,” he said in a serious tone. aniya sa seryosong tinig.
I bit down my lower lip. I want to be ashamed of what I heard. Should I have done that instead? Should I have lengthen my patience more so everything wouldn’t turn as messed up as this?
“I shouldn’t have done that. But that was my last resort and the only chance I have…” I whispered painfully.
“Nothing was wrong with what you did, it’s your right as his wife. You have all the rights to claim what is truly yours, Meredith.”
My eyes slowly went to my baby bump. And right there, I saw how his jaw clenched so hard and averted his gaze after.
It was silent for a moment before he cleared his throat.
“You’re pregnant and he’s the father, right?”
I slowly nodded.
“Does he know about this?”
I didn’t reply. I didn’t mention anything to him when we met the last time. This is my fight, and I don’t want my child to get involve in this.
He weakly slumped and stared at me. I know he’s disappointed, but I made my decisions final. I won’t use my child just to make Hezekiah go back to.
“What’s your plan now?” his voice sounds depressing.
So that, I cleared my throat once and shook my head.
“I don’t have any for now. I just want to focus in my pregnancy first,” I said and smiled genuinely.
Again I heard the heave of his chest and blew out frustratingly.
“I heard Ellwood’s taking care of Rising Stone abroad?” he changed the topic.
My forehead creased. “That news didn’t reach to me.” I answered quickly.
He only shrugged his shoulders at me. He looked like he doesn’t really have something more beneath his words so I didn’t make the conversation longer. But it didn’t leave my mind.
“Well, I’ll get going. I need to see my doctor’s today.”
After I bid my goodbye to the kids, I left not to get checked by the doctor but to go to Dad’s office.
I can feep the employees stares on me and their whispers about what happened that night. I can’t blame them, they also believed that Zeki was dead, and now that he was actually alive, he had a new wife. How was that huh?
