Phoebe
“How dare you!” I growled louder, baring my sharp canines at him. My eyes burned with fire as a new wave of anger crashed through me, flooding my veins, and consuming me to my fullness like a volcano about to erupt.
Breathless and blinded by raw rage, I sank my claws deep into his neck, salivating shamelessly as I watched the blood run freely on his neck, staining my fingers.
A new wave of thirst shot up in my dry throat, urging me to have a taste of my father’s delicious blood.
“Phoebe, stop this madness!” He yelled in fright, seeing how I eyed his blood hungrily.
Madness?!
He was the mad one here.
He didn’t call it madness when he impregnated a whore and gave birth to a bastard. But he called it madness because of my reaction?!
He hasn’t seen madness yet. This was just the beginning.
“You’ll kill him, Phoebe!” Kruella, my wolf whimpered in my head, disconnecting my earlier rage.
“I don’t care. He hurt me,” I sniffed, blinking back the burning tears that hung in my eyes, “Now, he is going to pay for it. He will pay with his life,”
“I think you should take this slow, dangerously slow,” She said in almost a whisper, spiking my irritation.
“Are you crazy Kruel? After what he did to us? You want me to take it slow?” My heart burned in rage as I began to lose it.
Not Kruella telling me to take it slow.
Not my partner in crime advising me against tearing this filthy betrayer apart!
After all he did to me.
After feeding me lies for years, making me believe I was his first and only child.
But he chose to make it known now when the damage had been done. He chose to reveal the bitch to me! Hurting my mother and I deeply.
Fuck Kruella!
I can do without her if she was here to preach peace.
Peace was never an option! I shall take my birthright by force, no matter what it takes.
I won’t stop till I have what belongs to me.
And I was never taking things slow.
Fuck slow!
“Calm down, Phoebe, I know what I am talking about,” Her voice was strangely calm. Unusual.
Why did she sound so convincing?
“What you are talking about is trash,” I snapped, cutting off the conversation, ready to block her.
“You think I like it this way? You think I don’t like being a powerful strawberry-coloured wolf?”
Finally, Someone thinking like me.
Pleasure flowed down my spine, releasing me from the grip of rage while my hand softened on his neck.
“What do you suggest?”
“That we take things slowly,” She added, “I want it to be worth our while and when the time is right, not only will your dad die gruesomely, the bitch will pay for it with her blood. No one involved will get away with this,” She spat, pacing about my head, angrily.
“That is the spirit, Kruel, no one will get away,”
“Just relax, when the time is right, I will inform you. For now, lay low, play along, observe, research, and ignore any shortcomings, when the time is right, I will let you know,” A satisfying pur escaped from her.
In a flash of light, my flaming eyes softened, my lips twisted into a small smile, erasing every trace of the mighty frown that plastered my face. My hands found their way to my sides and my teeth reappeared.
“You almost killed me, Phoebe, what is wrong with you?” He gasped for breath, clutching his chest tightly, “What came over you?”
Killing you will be my pleasure.
“Sorry about that,” I mumbled. Molten anger rolled through me. If it weren’t for Kruella’s timely intervention, he would have been ripped apart. With my eyes tightly shut, I drew in a ragged breath, calming my nerves.
“… take things dangerously slow,” Her word resonated in my ear, but it wasn’t enough to calm my raging demons.
I needed more.
I needed blood. His blood.
“…. when the time is right, not only will your dad die gruesomely, the bitch will pay for it with her blood…”
A smirk filled my lips.
The bitch will pay with her blood. I will make sure of it.
I couldn’t wait to be drunk in her blood and my dad’s. She messed with the wrong girl.
“I want it to be worth our while…”
Oh, Kruella, it must.
What is the joy in it if it isn’t worth my while?
A thrill of pleasure washed over my anger, and slowly, my anger vanished.
“Patience, Phoebe. Patience is what you need,” Kruella’s tiny voice echoed in my head.
“Patience is what I need,” I repeated, savouring each word on the tip of my tongue, allowing its effect to course through me.
“And if you play your cards well, in no time, we will conquer the world,” I could feel the effects of her rigid voice in my head, but it only spiked my excitement.
“If I play my cards well, we will conquer the world,” I repeated like a zombie, void of emotions and thinking faculties, adhering to orders, except that I wasn’t dead, I was only controlled by my inner wolf.
The sound of footsteps caught my attention, making me shift my gaze to it, but it was gone. My eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for the intruder, but there was no one.
Strange.
In a split second, the smell of fear wafted through my nose, making me sniff the air, tracing its origin and I locked my gaze on the window. A girl watching me from the window.
My eyes darkened in rage watching the bitch shaking like a leaf. Shooting a dangerous glance at her, she fled.
What the hell!
Was my dad playing with me?
He brought a scared puppy.
Don’t worry, I have got plans for you, baby girl.
For the great battle ahead, I was ready to exercise patience. I prepared to go to any length to be in my shoes.
Speaking of my shoes, I needed to visit an old friend of mine tonight.
The wicked witch of the West!
