During the next two days, Michelle worked diligently and did not bother anyone. She ignored Lucius who seemed surprised by her behaviour. She didn’t even say anything to Emma when she met her. Michelle behaved like the humblest person ever and the whole pack was confused. Of course most people suspected it was an act. People can change but they don’t usually change that fast.
Janet was able to find an agent of Axel’s who was on a spying mission. Having learnt from Michelle, Janet used her beauty to get the information she wanted. However much she tried to make him, the man did not help her communicate with Axel. It seemed he did not trust her either. Eventually Michelle decided she would have to travel to venom pack by herself. In order to do that, she needed to get out of the pack.
When she was ready to face Axel, Michelle decided to ask Jenezel for a day off for the next day. She stood at the door to Jenezel’s home office, contemplating on what she was about to do. Takin a deep breath, she raised her hand and knocked on the door.
“Come in,” Jenezel’s voice called out.
Michelle opened the door and stepped into the room. Jenezel was sitting at her brown coloured desk, pressing the burtons of her computer. She looked up when Michelle entered.
“What is it?” she asked, her tone business-like.
Michelle swallowed hard. “Miss Miller, I’d like to ask for a day off tomorrow.”
“A day off? For what?”
Michelle hesitated, knowing she didn’t have a very good reason. She wanted to come up with something but decided to go for the most believable one.
“I feel extremely exhausted,” she began, letting her eyes droop for effect. “I have never had to do so much physical work before and my body is taking longer than I thought to get used. I appreciate that I need to learn the work but I’m having headaches every day and I can barely remember things sometimes. I think this work is taking a huge toll on me and…”
“Okay, whatever. You can have it. Mark and I want to travel to the city tomorrow anyway.”
“Thank you so much.”
Jenezel sighed. “You can leave now.”
Michele felt like pumping her fist in the air. It had gone better than she had expected. Now she was free to go to venom pack and talk to Axel White. She couldn’t believe her luck. Michelle hurried to the pack house and told Janet the good news. She and Janet went for a walk into the woods and they talked about their plan. They planned to leave the pack house together, heading for a nearby town. Janet would remain in that town and Michelle would travel to meet Axel. In the evening, they would reunite and return to the pack.

Michelle felt the familiar sensation of her body starting to shift. Her fingers started stretching and elongating while her nails sharpened into claws. She let out a growl and let the change happened. Michelle fell to her knees and gritted her teeth as the pain of transformation rocked her entire body. Her skin rippled and her skeleton contorted, fur growing all-over her skin. She could hear her bones cracking as her body took on a new yet familiar shape.
Michelle then started running. She had sneaked into Lucius’s study and studied the map. She wasn’t a hundred percent sure she would remember all the routes but knew how to get to the central region. She was hoping that once she was there, she would figure out how to proceed. After running for an hour through the jungle, she found a sugarcane plantation. She decided to run through it anyway, hoping that the owner wasn’t a human with a gun. As she neared the centre of the plantation, she got a whiff of a certain scent and figured she had made a very big mistake. In her hurry to leave the pack, she had forgotten about the vampire problem.
Now she was in a plantation owned by one. If she had sniffed a vampire’s scent, there was a possibility that the vampire had also sniffed hers and was probably looking for her. Michelle’s heart started beating faster as she tried to run as fast as possible. As she ran, the scent started becoming stronger which meant the owner was drawing closer to her.
Running out of options, Michelle decided to try the one thing she thought would work. She turned back into human form and went to the clearest part of the plantation. She stood there in all her naked glory and waited. A few seconds later, a vampire appeared in front of her. She smiled at him, hoping that he’d have mercy on her.
“Hello there,” she thought. “I thought I was being chased by some crazy old guy. Had I known it was a fine specimen like you, I’d never have tried to run in the first place.”
The man smiled. He was very handsome and looked to be in his mid-thirties. “Well, can I just say I’m glad you wondered into my father’s farm? I’m happy that he forced me to come and check on it.”
Michelle smiled wider and glanced down at his trouser. She saw a bulge there.
“Come here,” he said.
She did as told, waltzing towards him in the most sensual way. When she got there, she stared at his plump lips. She could feel the wetness pooling at her centre.
“Turn around,” he said and she obeyed the order. Michelle heard him unbuckling his belt and smiled to herself. She hadn’t been serviced in a while and couldn’t wait for it. After unzipping, the man moved closer.
“Bend,” he said.
Michelle did so and gave him access to what he craved. For the next five minutes, she enjoyed being pleasured by a strong vampire. When he was done, he shot his load into her and staggered back to lean against a thin tree.
As Michelle cleaned herself, she wondered if he would let her go.
