Frowning and worrying about Serina’s health, Derek wondered why she always vomited.
He snapped his fingers, and Henry came over.
“Any order, Mr. Derek?” Henry asked.
“Go and consult a physician about whether nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite could be a sign of some illness,” Derek ordered.
Since Serina did not want to have a physical examination with him, he had to find out the cause of the symptoms himself.
“Are you not feeling well, Mr. Derek?” Henry asked with concern.
“No, not me. I made an appointment with a doctor for Serina last time, but she didn’t get the physical examination,” Derek explained.
“Is Mrs. Maynard sick and vomiting?” Henry asked again.
“Yes,” Derek replied.
Henry thought for a while and ventured, “Mr. Derek, Mrs. Maynard may be… pregnant.”
“What?” Derek looked up in shock.
He hadn’t thought about it at all, but what Henry said set him straight.
He had been having sex with Serina recently without any precaution.
No wonder she behaved strangely at home today as she ran away so quickly after nausea and vomiting.
It seemed that she was trying to hide something.
“Call over the men who guarded Serina that night!” Derek ordered.
“Yes, Mr. Derek!” Henry answered.
A group of bodyguards was summoned into Derek’s presence.
“Where did Serina go that night?” Derek asked.
“Mrs. Maynard went to Mr. Ernest’s apartment,” replied the bodyguard at the front.
“What about the next day?” Derek asked again.
“The next day, Mrs. Maynard went to the hospital and came back to S City. We protected her all along until she arrived home safely,” the bodyguard immediately explained for fear of Derek’s blame to him.
“Hospital?” Derek frowned at the word.
“I remember now. Mrs. Maynard went to a pharmacy before going to the hospital,” the bodyguard added hurriedly.
“Pharmacy!”
It dawned on Derek. He said, “You hurry to take Serina’s record from the hospital!”
“Yes, Mr. Derek!”
Derek wondered to himself why she had not told him such an important thing.

The next day, Yolanda got a call from the hospital providing DNA testing services.
She had demanded the hospital to call her as soon as a result came out.
The hospital informed her that Marco was her daughter!
Yolanda was disconsolate when she heard the news.
She finally found her daughter, but unfortunately, her daughter had died.
Last night she even hoped that Marco was not her daughter, so she could tell herself that her daughter might still be alive.
Holding the mobile phone in her hand, Yolanda sat on the bed with empty eyes.
After vomiting for a while in the morning, Serina came to sit beside her and said, “Mom, are you okay?”
“The hospital called,” she replied.
“How was it?” Serina asked with expectation.
“She is indeed your sister,” Yolanda answered.

Holding the mobile phone in her hand, Yolanda was trembling all over with hate.
Serina held her close and said, “Mom, please… Calm down.”
“How can I calm down?” Yolanda finally roared out, “My two daughters were ruined by her son!”
“Mom…”
Yolanda was helpless, with tears shedding from her eyes.
Serina could only hold Yolanda in her arms without a word.
She held her mom like that for a long time.
“Mom, what are you going to do next? Revenge for my sister?” Serina asked.
Although Yolanda could not compete with the Maynard family, she had great power as the president of the Benevolence and Justice Society in S City. As her daughter was murdered, how could she let it go?
However, Serina knew that once her mother revenged for her sister, it would be impossible for her to be with Derek.

Serina’s eyes are empty. She blinked with tears falling down.
“I know a doctor at a maternity hospital. I’ll call her later and ask her to arrange the operation for you tomorrow. You go to bed early today, okay?” Yolanda said.
“Okay, Mom,” Serina replied.
In the evening, she lay in bed sleepless, touching her belly all the time.
Although carrying a baby makes her feel unwell, she is sad at the thought of aborting it tomorrow.

Derek was sitting in the study while Henry stood in front of him and stated the result.
“Mr. Derek, Mrs. Maynard did B-ultrasound test in the hospital. I asked the doctor, and he said that Mrs. Maynard was pregnant.”

He now was overjoyed.
Although he had guessed the result, he was exulted when he actually heard it.
