Ma Olive Pov:
I didn’t see Aqua in the dining room today and that got me worried. I decided to go and see her after breakfast. Although I could see Rudolfo smirking throughout the meal, I didn’t read much into it as my mind is more occupied with Aqua. We were actually through with breakfast and I went to her room to look for her but didn’t see her. I got worried but decided not to panic since I know that nothing will happen to her so far she’s within the walls of the packhouse.
I sighed and decided to check the kitchen for her. I went into the kitchen and met the other maids and when I asked them about Aqua… they said she had already left for the king’s chamber and she was in the kitchen when breakfast was going on. I took a deep long breath and breath in relief… but yet! Somehow I’m still worried about why she never showed up at the dining room today.
“I need to see her” I concluded and started walking towards the King’s chamber knowing that she’s going to be there by now doing some cleaning. With each step that I take. I can’t help but sense that something is wrong. I decided to shrug off the feeling but they kept coming back and I gave up.
I increased my pace. I was almost near the Alpha King’s chamber when I saw Aqua run out of Rudolfo’s room in tears, I wanted to talk to her but she ran past me. This must have been why I’m feeling restless, that’s among my powers to see what’s going on… knowing that my thick-headed son will be inside, I pushed the door open but was surprised when I saw him sipping wine as nothing happened.
I got angry knowing that he must be the cause of her tears. I walk towards him in rage as my footsteps make a stumping sound on the ground. His eyes widened immediately when he saw me, maybe he thought it’s Aqua, that’s why he never cared to look at the door when I came in.
“Au… aun….” He stuttered but I ignored him and took the wine away from him. I look at him with eyes full of anger and he knows better than to argue, though I’m the only one he accords that respect.
I sighed and decided to use a sweet tone on him. I sat beside him on the bed, my hand went to his cheek as I stared into his eyes.
“My little son of yesterday is now grown not to listen to his aunt” I smile cupping his cheek
“Aunt……” He groaned frustratingly and my smile widened. He hates it when I call him small. I always taunt him with that. I decided to use my motherly charm since I’ve gotten him to loosen up.
I faked tears as I covered my eyes with both hands and started crying.
“Ahhh Mmmm……” I carried
“Aunt….” He called and tried to touch me but I shook his hands away
” you don’t….. care about….. me no more…. ahhhhhhhh” I cried.
“Aunt I do and you know that”
“No, I don’t” I fired back looking at him from the corners of my eyes as I continued to cry knowing my charm is walking slowly.
“Fine aunt, what should I do to make you happy?”
My ears tingled immediately after I heard that. My eyes snapped open immediately as they widened. I cleaned my fake tears while still hiccupping. “Are you serious?” I ask
“Yes aunt,” He said, facing me.
“Hehehehe…..” I smile inwardly in victory
“Mmmmm I want you to stop being hard on Aqua
” But aunt……” He wanted to say
“Ahhh Mmmm……” I started crying again
“Fine I will” He said grumpily and I jumped up in excitement and hugged him.
” Damn aunt you’re squeezing me”
“Sorry son, just excited” I smile and peck his both cheeks.
And dancing out in joy, I was towards the four and blew kisses at him, he shook his head at me and smiled mindlessly and walked out towards Aqua’s room.
I walked straight towards her room but something caught my sight. I saw Ricco staring at something and when I followed his gaze, they landed on Diamond who was obviously having a nice conversation with one of the maids. I guess she doesn’t know Aqua is not happy, or else she wouldn’t have been here.
I smile, he might be deceiving himself, but not me. I know he’s trying to be uptight like Rudolfo but I know deep down he misses Diamond and wishes he could hold her in his arms. I tiptoed towards him making sure to quiet my footsteps. I stood beside him as he leaned on the railings still looking at her downstairs, yet! He didn’t notice my presence. I covered the distance between us as I brought my mouth closer to his ear caughting him unawares I whispered
“You can hold her in your arms if you wish”
“Huh…” He jumped in fright and when he saw me, he sighed and breathed out in relief while I giggled.
“My lady”
“Ohhh… cut the pretense, you’re missing her don’t you?” I wink, but he looked away shyly, not without me spotting some shades of red on his cheek.
I decided to give him something to think about, I look at him and smile devilishly. I place my right hand on my jaw in a thinking manner while he stares at me
“Mmmm I think I saw the president’s son staring at her when they came to settle some government issues with the Alpha who knows he might be interested in her” I shrugged and his face turned hard as stone immediately.
Actually, I did see the president’s son staring at Diamond, so I think this nut should know that or he might lose his chance.
“He shouldn’t dare go near to what’s mine” He groans possessively. I smile and walk closer to him.
“She can’t be yours when you constantly ignored her” I turned to go but look back and said
“You haven’t marked her, so she’s not yours or anybody’s, grab that,” I said and poke at his head. I smirk victoriously and walk out towards Aqua’s room.
