Sunny’s POV
“Oh my sweet little Sunny! I’m so glad you came!” Damon’s mom immediately ran towards me as soon as she saw us stepping inside the restaurant. Damon dragged me here and now I just realized that I don’t have any present for his mom.
I smiled as I hugged her back, “Hi mommy, H-Happy Birthday.”
“Thank you, my dear.” she suddenly looked at the paper bag that I was holding so I immediately hid it behind me. “Is that present for me?” she asked.
“H-Huh? A-Actually, it’s not—
“Yes! That is for you, mom! Babe really made this one for you, right, babe?” said Damon as he grabbed the paper bag from me and handed it to his mother.
“B-But that one is—
He widened his eyes at me then he put his arms around my shoulders, “Just ride in, that four-eyed man won’t need it anyway.”
“But I don’t think that would fit her hands.” I whispered.
“This is so beautiful, Sunny! This is the most beautiful gloves I have ever seen in my whole life!” she cooed.
“Hehehe…”
We all sat down, “Sunny, I’m so glad you came. I don’t think what could possibly happen to Damon’s mom if you didn’t show up.” Damon’s father dad said.
“O-Of course, I won’t miss it for her, hahaha!”
“I know you won’t. Wait, just let me order now.” He said as he called the server.
“By the way, m-mommy. Why did you decide to just hold your birthday party here? I mean, am I your only visitor?” I asked, just not to make the atmosphere awkward since the bastard was busy staring at his phone while his dad was talking to the server.
Damon’s mom laughed, and it sounded like a laugh of a goat who couldn’t poo. “I actually want to have an intimate celebration with only the three of you and I also know that you don’t want to mingle with so many people that’s why I just decided to have my big celebration with my friends and with our other relatives tomorrow. You can still go if you want.”
“N-No, I’m fine, I mean, I actually have so many things to do tomorrow so I don’t think I could still go. Hehehe… And I think my parents won’t also allow me to go outside too. You know, they’re quite strict and they are so over protective.”
I just remembered that mom even asked me to sleep at Damon’s house again. Meanwhile, dad also said that if ever I get pregnant, I should just go with Damon and live with him. I think those are their own ways to kick me out of the house.
“Oh really? Your parents are that strict? Oh well, no wonder, their daughter is so beautiful they couldn’t just let her go outside more often.”
Damon suddenly acted like he was about to puke so I kicked his legs under the table which made him glare at me. “Mom, I think you should meet her parents too.” He said.
“W-What the hell are you—I-I mean, babe, you don’t have to say that. I know how busy mommy and daddy. Maybe we can just do that some other time.”
Damn you, bastard. What are you planning to do again?
“No, that’s actually a good idea. I want to see and know how good and beautiful your parents are. For sure they’re as kind as you.” said Damon’s mom.
“Let’s see them next week. I don’t have too much work next week anyway.” His dad added.
I looked at Damon and he just winked at me. Ugh, I want to choke him to death right now!
“C-Can I ask my parents first? I-I’ll just make sure if it’s okay with them…”
“Sure sweetheart. I will prepare for it immediately. I can’t wait to meet them!”
I forced a smile as I glared at Damon.
