After these few incidents, everyone in the company who knew Abby treated her with respect. They treated her as if they saw the president.
Abby didn’t bother to explain anything because now even a careless girl like Luka didn’t believe that her relationship with the president was completely normal.
They were absolutely normal. There was nothing ambiguous between them.

Abby held her forehead. She was confused and clueless.
At lunch, Abby and Luka still stayed with each other. The two went to the staff canteen, picked a spot, and had a meal together.
Brian once again came to the staff canteen.
The female colleagues were still admiring the president’s handsome face while Abby lowered her head and had her lunch.
But she couldn’t help but constantly pay attention to where he was sitting. Brain seemed to be in a bad mood today and had a bad appetite, for he barely touched his lunch.
On the way back to her face, Abby and Luna Davies ran into each other.
Although Luna was demoted, she was still followed by a group of capable subordinates who were all competent. Of course, Chief Secretary, Lily Smith, was also one of them.
Looking at the direction where they were going, they might go to a cafe downstairs to have lunch.
Luna’s expression seemed to have changed a bit compared to the past. But when her eyes fell on Abby, it was still as cold as a blade which was about to strike Abby.
Abby was puzzled. When did she offend Luna Davies?
She had broken up with Ivan for so many years. Besides, Ivan was already considered as the son-in-law of their family. Why did Luna have to set against her every time? What kind of serious grudge she had against her?
After a while, the two returned to the office.
As soon as Abby sat down, she received a call from Ben saying that the president wanted to see her on the top floor.
She glanced left and right worriedly, hung up the phone and got up to go to the place where Brian wanted to meet her.
The top floor was sunny with light breezes.
The breeze gently lifted the hair on Abby’s forehead. The hem of her suit swayed lightly with the wind.
Brian was sitting on the white steps, with a white business shirt tucked into his suit pants. There was no extra body fat on his waist.
He was the president of the company. With so many entertainments and banquets, how did he keep his figure like an international supermodel?
With a slight smile on her face, Abby walked over.
“Mr. Davies.”
Brian turned his head and smiled attractively.
“Yesterday… Thank you.” Abby felt that she owed him a thank-you no matter what relationship they had.
Brian smiled, “No big deal.”
Did he mean that being able to take down a figure in such a high position in a short period of time was not a big deal? Abby was speechless.
She stepped forward and leaned her back against the railing. One of them faced south and the other faced north.
They both turned their heads unanimously, gazed at each other, and then smiled at each other.
The atmosphere seemed to ease a little. Their relationship seemed to be very different from what they were before.
“Do you have a bad appetite today?” Abby asked, thinking of something.
Brian furrowed his brows slightly. “It’s fine.”
“But I didn’t see you eat much at noon.” Abby blurted out in a hurry.
Brain looked into her eyes as soon as she said that. Only then did she start to regret what she just said. She hesitated and explained, “Um, I… also saw it by chance.”
Brian curved his thin lips and nodded. “I did feel unwell.”
“What? What makes you feel unwell?” Abby asked anxiously.
Brian didn’t speak, but made a gesture with his hand and pointed to his chest.
Abby was confused at first, but she understood eventually.
Brian thought she really understood what he meant. He was making gestures with his hands to the position of his heart, meaning that he didn’t feel well with his heart.
“I can make something that will make you feel better as soon as you eat it.”
“Oh, is it?” Was there anything else that could help cure heartache? It was really the first time that Brain had heard something like that.
“It’s true. I used to feel in the same way for a while. The helper at home will cook it for me. As long as I eat it, I will feel better immediately,” Abby said seriously, which made Brian believe her.
He also made an appointment with her to meet here at this time the next day.
After work that night, Abby went straight to her home.
She asked Renee about the cake that she made for her when she had an upset stomach as a child.
During those days, because of worrying about taking the exam, Abby had to study day and night so as to improve her scores. Sometimes she was so busy that she didn’t even eat food, so her stomach would convulse.
Whenever she had a stomachache, Renee would make sweet-scented osmanthus cakes for her.
Abby didn’t know what magical effect there was. As long as she ate it, her stomach wouldn’t hurt anymore.
Renee smiled and said, “There were no special effects. It was because you are hungry and refuse to eat and you need to study. I made the sweet-scented osmanthus cake. Of course, your stomach doesn’t hurt after you eat it because you are full.”
Abby didn’t believe her but still insisted that there was something magical inside that could treat stomach upsets.
Renee couldn’t refute her, so she had to stand aside and dictate how to make sweet-scented osmanthus cakes while Abby cooked it herself.
Abby was ingenious. After a short while, the beautiful jelly-like sweet-scented osmanthus cake was taken out of the pot.
She found an exquisite box, carefully cut the cake into slices, and put them in.
Abby was holding the box in her hands with a smile and sniffed, “It smells so good.”
Renee chuckled happily and didn’t ask her why she cooked it or who she gave it to.
Ethan smelled the cake, leaned close to his mother, and said with a sweet voice, “Mommy, what’s in it?”
“Well, it’s something delicious.”
“It’s delicious?” When the little guy heard that it was something delicious, his eyes lit up. He clapped his hands, “I want to eat too. I want to eat that too.”
Abby took a small plate, filled it with a few pieces of cake, and told him to eat less. Having too much sweets at night would cause tooth decay.
Ethan nodded, carefully took the small dish from his mother, and ran out happily.
Renee withdrew her gaze from Ethan and said to Abby with a smile, “Ma’am, Ethan is really a lovely and sensible child. You are so lucky. These days, when I’m getting along with him, I find that he is really different from the child at his age.”
Abby had long been used to it as she heard other people’s compliments about Ethan. She felt proud of him and still kept it to herself. She just smiled and said, “Well. He is much more naughty than ordinary children.”
Back in her room, Abby carefully put the sweets on the table, wondering whether the president would appreciate it and like it when she brought it to him tomorrow.
