Daniel’s POV
.
Wow! Aunt Emma was right. Winning her heart was not that hard; all I had to do was cheesy things, especially the one she wanted.
“Well, if you want to know my option, I would like to enjoy some time with you. I want you to show some side of me which, as a husband and mate, I expect you to know because we both know each other and barely got a chance to know anything about one another before our wedding.” She suggested with a slight smile on her face.
‘Wow, our mate is taking a step toward us. Don’t you dare to turn down this offer. Just say a straight YES.
I’m looking forward to spending a day with her without any fight.’, Romus said, howling in my head out of happiness.
“Sure.”
“Great then, why don’t you let me take charge and get freshen up by that time. After breakfast, we will go to the place I love the most.”
“Okay!”

One hour passed, and we didn’t fight.
Great.
After breakfast, we left for the place where Angel wanted to visit, and she was too excited to reach there. I couldn’t help but wonder what could be her favorite place? A shopping mall? Or something?
“You got to be kidding me!” I exclaimed, looking at the place entrance where she had brought me.
“Obviously not!”, She grinned, dragging me toward the entrance.
“Angel, this is an amusement park, for god sake! And we are not kids!” I said, halting at one place, clearly denying to go inside.
“Oh! Come on! There’s a child inside each of us who only comes out in front of the person we are most comfortable with. And I want to be comfortable with you, Dan. Please.”, She pouted. “Please! Please! Please!”, She kept requesting.
As per Aunt Emma, I had to act like I was changing for her, so I had to do this stupid thing.
“Okay!”
“Yayyy,” She happily hugged me and soon pulled herself away from me when she realized in excitement what she had just done. “Thank you. Now, let go!”, She chirped and started dragging me inside the amusement park.
Truth to be told, I wouldn’t say I liked staying there even for a second, but the girl beside me was the reason because of whom I spent the whole six hours in the park. I was her and her expression in amusement though out the day. How excited she was before riding on the roller coaster, and nervous while riding in her and thankfully, I was beside her which helped her to outcome her nervousness and the next thing I knew that she was hooting and screaming out of happiness just like a kid.
“God! My throat hurt!”, She laughed, rubbing her throat.
“Well, I’m not surprised about that.”, I said, passing a water bottle toward her.
“Thank you.”, She smiled and started drinking water in a hurry; some of the water spilled out of her mouth. I secretly admired her wet lips and the drops that rolled down her neck to her cleavage, and then the moon goddess knew where!
‘I wish I could explore that part.,’ Roman said.
‘Me too.’ I couldn’t help myself from agreeing with my wolf. She caught me staring at her with my lustful eyes, but I didn’t try to hide that part because I wanted to make her clear that I wanted her in all the ways.
“Umm.. so did you enjoy here?”, She asked, wiping her lips with the back of her hand before I could reach my hand to touch her wet lips.
“Yes!” I lied. She was not going to find out about my lying part; after all, she was a human. She couldn’t smell my lies, right?”
“Come on, Dan. You are not behaving like my husband. Did someone hit your head hardly?”, She asked with a soft chuckle.
‘Even though she is a human. She’s smart and knows you enough.’, Roman said proudly.
“Thank you for being here even though you didn’t too.”, She said. And I could smell that she was telling the truth.
“You didn’t need to thank me for anything, Angel. I was here for my selfish reason. If one of the truths is that I didn’t want to stay here even for a second, then the other truth is that I didn’t want to miss my chance to see your happy face. I didn’t want to miss hearing your laughter. I didn’t want to miss my chance to see you getting comfortable around me. And if the result of coming to an amusement park is this, then I promise…I promise to take you the all the amusement all over the world one by one.”
She gasped, slapping her hand on her mouth, widening her eyes.
Did I just promise something like that to her?
“You will keep your promise?”, She asked, confirming whether she heard it right or not. Tears started dwelling in her eyes. It seemed like coming to the amusement park was not just her favorite place, but she had a lot of memories related to it.
“I promise.”
She hugged me again from the morning, but she didn’t pull herself immediately, unlike the last time. She stayed in my arms and sobbed silently. I hugged her back.
“Are you okay, Angel?” I asked in concern.
“You have no idea how happy I am because of your promise.”, She confessed.
“That’s not a big deal, Angel.”
“It is.”, She said, lifting her head to look into my eyes. “It is for me. I visited an amusement park with mom last time. I was happy and nervous simultaneously, but she stayed by my side during the ride just like you did today. She also promised the same thing, but she couldn’t fulfill her promises. And after all, when I came here back, you promised me the same thing; all these things reminded me of mom”, When she ended, a lone tear rolled down her eyes again.
I quickly wiped it. “Don’t cry; otherwise, your mom will give an earful lecture to me.”
“My mom?”, She asked in confusion.
“Yes! Do you think she will leave me just like that for making her angel cry?” I said, on which she giggled. “I’m serious about it. She came into my dream last night and ordered me to complete the promise she made to you on behalf of me.”
She slapped on my arms before hugging me more tightly than before. “Liar.”
“Trust me! I’m telling the truth.”, I said, kissing her hair.
“You will keep your promise, won’t you?”
“Is that even a question? Now that I know what makes my mate happy, I’m thinking of building one amusement park.”
“We will see that.”, She said. “Because I have learned that promises are just words in the end.”
“If that’s so, you will see that.”, I muttered because I had already started planning to look for the perfect place where I could think of the construction of an amusement park. “By the way, is that true that you didn’t visit any amusement park after your mother’s death?”
“Hmm.”
“Then why.. why did you come here with me?”
“God cannot be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers. And as per the werewolf community, mates are made by moon goddesses for their children. So, I’m trying to get comfortable with the person sent into my life by a goddess. I’m just trying to trust myself with her choice.”
My heart flattered hearing her.
I couldn’t find a word to say.
Here, I was playing games while she was trusting herself with me.
This thought was making me sick.
“Let’s go our home now.”, She muttered in a tired tone.
‘Our home.’ I smiled, repeating her words in my mind.
“And we have to take all my luggage from the apartment.”
“Yeah! I remembered that.”
