I closed my eyes to stop calming down my as well as Ivory’s anger.
No doubt our mate was a jerk.
How could he say that he was with us just for his wolf?
Didn’t he need us for him?
He was the most irritating man I had ever met in my life but at the same time. I just didn’t want to leave him because of just one reason. We both were glad that his wolf didn’t have a big EGO as him.
Just a moment before, I felt that he was not bad when he shared something about his life, about his bond with his aunt. I didn’t raise the topic of his mother so that he wouldn’t start fighting with me again, but as you could see, he always waited for a moment to pick a fight with me.

The next morning, what Diana did was something for which Ivory wanted to rip her throat.
But thankfully, she didn’t do anything like that, considering her my friend, my roommate, my sister, which I never had, but when I saw that she was going to attack Daniel again. I just couldn’t stand there doing anything.
Before I could do something, I was already standing in between her and Daniel, stopping her from attacking Daniel.
‘What the hell was that?’ I asked Ivory.
‘That’s your vampire powers. Now, get habitual to that.’
“Lily give control back to Diana.”, I said, knowing it was Diana’s wolf who was attacking Daniel for two purposes; first, He was at our place, and second, she was trying to protect both of us from an unknown danger. “And he’s not an intruder but my mate.”

Were you wondering if I knew about my roommate being a werewolf or not? Well, I had figured it out a long ago in this human world.
That was also one of the reasons because of why we were roommates because I had told her about my childhood and from where I belonged while she had shared hers.
“I didn’t know that.”, Diana said when her wolf gave her control back to her.
“How will you know when you jumped on him before giving any explanation? Now, apologies to him.”
“You’re asking me to apologies?”
“Yes! Do it now. You disrespected him with your behavior. Now come on, apologies to him because no one is allowed to disrespect him.” EXCEPT me! I didn’t add that point.
“I’m sorry..?” Diana started, but then she realized that she didn’t know his name.
“Alpha Daniel Grint,” I told her his name, and the way her eyes widened, I could tell that she already knew about him or might have heard about him.
“Of Stone Moon Pack.”, She asked, to which I nodded. “I wonder why didn’t he reject you already? After all, he never wanted to meet his mate, and human mate was the out of the syllabus.”
“Diana,” I warned her. Ivory wanted to take control of my body and wanted to kick her ass for insulting her mate again. I knew what kind of jerk my mate was, but that didn’t mean anyone was allowed to insult him. “Say a word more against him and consider it the last day of our relationship.”, In no time, her expression changed, and she looked at Daniel before speaking.
“I…I’m sorry, Alpha Daniel.”, She apologized.
“It’s okay! I can understand your wolf was just being protective.”, He said, dismissing the topic.
“Come here with me.”, Saying this, Diana dragged me from there with her. “I understand that he is your mate, but what is he doing at our apartment?”, She asked calmly, trying her best not to piss me because, human or not! The mate bond always makes the people aggressive and possessive.
“Well, he is not just my mate. We…we are now married as well.”, I replied, to which her eyes widened.
“I need to know everything. EVERYTHING.”m She said, stressing on the last word. “But not here. How about we talk about it outside and meaning we can also get some fresh vegetables and fruits?”
“Don’t you want to freshen up? I meant you have just arrived from….”
“No. I’m fine because the news which you have is more interesting. I will freshen up after coming from the store.”
“But give me a minute. I need to empty my bladder and look presentable before leaving.”, I said, walking back to our room. I directly went into the washroom. After coming out, I checked myself in the mirror. All the time, I could feel Daniel’s eyes on me. “I’m leaving for a while to grab groceries from the stores.”, I said before leaving the room, but he yanked me, pulling my arms.
“Don’t you think you should ask my permiss…”
Jerking my hand away from his grip, I cut him in between. “Don’t say something like that in public otherwise, they will make fun of you for such small thinking. If you want an obedient slave, then buy one because I’m your Luna, your equal.”, With this, I started leaving.
‘You know, you can’t just change our mate by fighting with him all the time.’, Ivory commented sadly in my mind, on which I halted my steps and then turned around. Daniel was fuming in anger and was giving me a look that he was ready to kill anyone right now. I walked toward him and saw him narrowing his eyes.
After reaching near him, I held his shoulder for support and then tiptoed before kissing his forehead. After that, I wrapped my hand around his neck.
“I will be back in half an hour. Do you need something from the store?” I asked calmly, still letting him know that I was leaving and I would leave without taking his damn permission.
“Hmm. My mate is on periods, so get her favorite chocolate and all other things that she loves.”, He muttered, taking a deep breath and kissing my forehead.
“Anything for you?” I asked again.
“Just come soon; otherwise, after half an hour, your mate will drag you out of the store.” I giggled and started to leave, but this time, he held my wrist.
“What happened?”
“Here, my card.”
“I have my own.”
“I know, but I will appreciate it if you will use this.”, he said politely. I wanted to deny it again, but then doing that would mean going back to FIGHTING MODE. So, I took his card from him.
“Thank you.”
“Anytime.”, He smiled at me, and I did the same before he again said something which rose my temper. “And you can buy anything expensive from it as well, considering it as my rude behavior.”
What the hell!
Instead of telling me a word of five letters, i. e., SORRY, he was trying to bribe me.
What did he think of me?
A begger or a gold digger?
“One minute.” I excused myself with a wide smile on my face and looked for something. Ahhaa! Finally, I found it. I picked the scissor in my hand and cut his card into two pieces in front of his face, and dropped it on the floor. By the time I finished my great work, he was looking at me furiously. “You need to learn to APOLOGISE for your rude behavior instead of trying to please me by showing me your money. Because you will repeat something like that in front of me, I will throw petrol on that money and then light them up to enjoy FIRE.”
