“Take good care of yourself and leave other things aside.”
Molly’s lips tremble but she felt a bit happy.
It is the first time that Quinn doesn’t refuse her directly.
She eagerly asks, “Quinn, you promised me?”
“Your first task was to take care of yourself and stop imagining.”
“I will.”
With tears and smile on her face, she looks like a tender and lovely flower in the early morning.
The petals of the flower have dewdrops on, making it attractive.
Quinn withdraws his hand and restarts the car.
Yaffe drifts into a tiring dream.
In the dream, she puts on the wedding dress and waited for a long time, but Quinn doesn’t come or call her.
The other Hes don’t come either.
Instead, these older women of the neighborhood come. They are like piranhas, opening and closing their mouths as if they want to bite her.
She is so scared that she runs out with the wedding dress. But she sees Quinn having a wedding ceremony with another woman.
That woman wears the same dress as her.
That woman’s face can’t be seen clearly, but she leans close to Quinn’s shoulder and smiles at her, saying, “I’m back. As the substitute, you can leave now.”
…
Yaffe opens her eyes suddenly. She rises from the bed and then realizes it is a dream.
She touches her sweaty pajama, shaking her head and feeling funny.
The dream makes her break out in a sweat in winter.
At the thought of the dream, she feels upset.
She feels so insecure that she has such a dream!
She really hopes the dream is contrast to the reality, or she doesn’t know how to deal with such a thorny problem.
Yaffe scratches her hair and then brushes teeth.
After that, she changes clothes and goes downstairs.
The dresser and her assistant arranged by the wedding dress store have arrived.
Seeing the apparent bags under Yaffe’s eyes, Monismith snorts, “Baby, were you excited because you could finally escape from your mum?”
“It’s not because I wanna escape from you but because I missed you so much that I was sleepless, ok?”Yaffe held Monismith’s neck and slightly shook herself.
“Stop making nonsense. Have breakfast. After that, get yourself dressed up and get away. I have stood you for 26 years. Finally you leave. It’s so uneasy. When you had no one to marry, I was afraid I had to stand you for decades of years. At the thought of this, I nearly cried. But now I’m free.”
Yaffe shouts unhappily, “Yannick, manage your wife please. She showed her dislike to your daughter so obviously. My glass heart would break into pieces.”
“He had the same thought. The only difference was that he couldn’t bear to tell you the truth.” Monismith says.
“Okkk, I won’t be here to offend the eyes. Let’s keep the relations off for half an hour.” Yaffe snorts.
Both the dresser and her assistant burst into laughter.
After having the brief breakfast, Yaffe sits in front of the mirror and the makeup artist help her make up.
After the careful make-up, the obvious bags are covered.
Yaffe has never made up herself delicately. When she looks terrible, she just spreads the tone-up cream roughly to make her look good. She seldom makes up herself carefully.
Now the bridal make up makes her totally different.
The modified face, the straight nose, the beautiful lips and the clear and smart eyes make her seem so perfect. She is a happy bride, waiting for marriage.
Yaffe looks at herself in the mirror and gives a brilliant smile.
Monismith and Yannick are satisfied with her makeup as well.
Quinn arrives at 10 a. m.
He wears a set of dark suit and a white shirt. There are no accessories except the original ones.
His appearance attracts all people’s attention.
The aristocratic temperament cultivated by his high position and elegant life becomes prominent.
Yaffe feels he is a bit strange to her when she sees Quinn.
But she can understand it after all it is only about a month since she knows him. They are not that familiar with each other.
Quinn’s assistant hands out red packets to all those present.
Quinn holds Yaffe’s hand with a smile toward Yannick and Monismith, saying, “Dad, Mum, I’ll marry Yaffe today, but you’ll never lose her. Instead, you have a son. Please don’t worry about us.”
Monismith is greeting the guests happily. But when she hears Quinn’s words, tears stream down her face.
The rims of Yaffe’s eyes become red as well.
Yannick pats on Monismith’s back, saying, “You cry all the time no matter how I’m happy or sad. It’s my wedding. So be happy.”
Monismith sniffs, saying, “Yaffe, if you don’t come back after marrying Quinn, I’ll break your legs.”
Yaffe rolls her eyes, saying, “Mum, you’ll lose me if so.”
Her words make everyone burst into laughter.
Quinn can’t help laughing too.
Downstairs.
Dozens of brand new wedding cars are waiting, which attract neighbours’ attention. They stop and watch.
Quinn holds Yaffe inside the first car of the motorcade. Yaffe asks him, “Didn’t you have a sound sleep? What’s wrong with the company?”
“Nothing. Don’t be worried.”
Hearing this, she can’t continue the questions, so she turns to look out of the window.
People outside the window stand there, looking at the motorcade. Quite a few young girls express their envy.
Seeing their expression, Yaffe smiles slightly.
After over 30 minutes, the car stops in front of Crown Hotel.
The hotel is contracted by the He family specifically for the wedding and accommodation of the guests from the He family and the Qin family.
The relatives, friends, colleagues and business friends from both of the families come.
As soon as the wedding car stops, Karmier and Roi come forward.
Roi looks Yaffe up and down, praising, “The bride is so pretty today.”
“Thank you, Mum. I must be the prettiest one today.” Yaffe changes her way to call Roi and then blinks her eyes naughtily.
“You naughty girl.” Roi smiles with hand covering her mouth, saying, “Let Quinn take you for a rest. Too many guests were here today, but you don’t need to see each of them. Later you’ll know them. Your Dad, Quinn and I will greet them.”
“Is it ok? Can I slack off?”
“Of course you can. Take a good rest.”
Yaffe doesn’t insist because she indeed knows little about the wedding. When she sees her parents get off the care, she follows a concierge girl to the lounge.
Inside the lounge, Rowie and Ann have been there.
As soon as Ann sees Yaffe, she hugs Yaffe exaggeratedly, saying “Yaffe, you’re soooo beautiful.”
“I’ll increase your salary for your praise.”
“Are you serious?” Ann is excited.
“I give you salary?” Yaffe feels funny. She pats Ann’s fluffy head.
Her pulls a long face and ignores Yaffe.
