Rowie is amused by their dialogue. She takes out of a gift box and hands it to Yaffe, saying, “It’s my gift for you. Wish you a harmonious union lasting a hundred years and may you have a baby soon. Please imagine all the rest blessing.”
Yaffe receives the gift and said happily, “I’m glad about your attendance. Why do you send me the gift? Could you please prepare more gifts?”
“I’ll give you a gift that scares you.” Rowie replies with a smile.
“Yaffe, this is my gift. You have to like it.” Ann takes out the give from the purse and puts it on Rowie’s gift.
“It seems nothing unusual from the packaging.”
“Don’t judge a person from his appearance. It’s not easy for me to find it.” Ann answered unsatisfactorily.
Yaffe puts down the two gifts and holds Ann and Rowie with hands respectively, saying, “Thank you, my beautiful ladies. Let me molest you.”
“Nope. I have the principle.”
“What’s principle? Is it edible?”
They romp around for a while.
Ann goes to get some water from the water dispenser by the window. She looks out of the window casually and says, “Wow, that lady is so pretty.”
Rowie and Yaffe come up to her with curiosity.
Ann points at the outside of the window, saying with envy, “Look at the fountain. The young lady is so pretty. She must be the genuine daughter of an eminent family. She is really outstanding.”
Yaffe looks in the direction Ann points out.
That woman wears a white long skirt and a pink overcoat.
She has long hair with a hat of the same colour as the overcoat.
She stands by the fountain. Her presence is like a beautiful picture, making people feel enjoyable.
She looks tender and innocent, making either men or women wanna protect her.
Meanwhile she wears a sickly look, increasing people’s desire to protect her.
The girl seems to notice their attention. She turns back and waves at them, giving them a silent “Hi”.
“Ahhhhh, I hope I could be as pretty as her.”
Yaffe looks at Ann with a glance, “Go to get cosmetic surgery.”
“Nope.”
“Then stop this idea.”
When they are looking at the girl, Monismith opens the door, saying, “Yaffe, nearly all guests have arrived. Get to know relatives from the He family.”
“All right.” Yaffe answers.
The three ladies leave the lounge.
At the same time, Quinn appears by the fountain.
Seeing Quinn approaching, Molly stands up and says, “Quinn.”
“Why are you here?”
“I wanna see you.” She replies in a low voice.
“Nonsense!”
“Quinn, I know I’ll make you angry, but I really can’t control myself. My parents have known I’m back and they are so angry that they ignore me. What shall I do? I can’t accept the truth that I’ve lost you and my family.”
Quinn looks seriously at her, saying clearly and slowly, “My wife is Yaffe Qin.”
She looks at him in surprise, saying, “You said you would wait till I was fine. Without you, what’s the meaning for me to get better? Why did I bear the flight for tens of hours at the risk of my life?”
“Molly…”
“Quinn, I don’t approve of your decision. I didn’t want to force you, but I couldn’t bear you to acknowledge other women. You’re clear why I’m so weak and why Wiphy became what he is right now. You know I’m weak because I saved Wiphy. My family gave me medical treatment without complaint because of your love for me. When your wedding day was announced, they blamed me for not catching your heart. I knew you cared about me, so I was confident to persuade them. However, now you tell me another woman is your wife. You can marry her because it’s helpful for Wiphy’s autism. I won’t bother about it. But please don’t acknowledge her in front of me as it makes me feel I’m useless.”
Quinn looks at her tears.
It seems that the girl is easy to cry, but in fact she has only cried in front of him for several times.
He knows she puts down her pride and self-esteem for him.
Quinn feels touched. He rubs her hair, saying, “I’ll have driver send you back to the hospital. The cooperation between your family and the He Group won’t change because of my marriage. Ask them not to worry about it.”
“What about me?” She looks at Quinn as if she is to cry. She says, “We were together for 3 years, but you didn’t make a proposal to me. You only knew Yaffe for a short time, but your family allows you to marry her?”
She is really restless.
Unlike other powerful and wealthy men, Quinn doesn’t like to get close to women.
Most of the staff close to him are men and only a few are women.
While dating with her, they aren’t that intimate, but at least he only has her.
When Quinn is said to have a son, both Molly and her family can’t accept it.
She dumps him although Quinn persuaded her.
But it never happens to her that the boy doesn’t reduce his charm.
As he took over the He Group, he spent 5 years bringing the group to a new peak. The financial resources and influence are incomparable.
She knows that she hurt Quinn.
At that time Quinn just lost his brother and he was facing the pressure from the He Group, but she broke up with him.
Undoubtedly he had a tough time.
If she hadn’t saved Wiphy at the risk of her life, she couldn’t have had the two chances to stand in front of him.
“Yaffe is the most appropriate.” Quin says calmly, “The wedding will start soon. I call your driver.”
When he turns back to make a call, Molly suddenly holds his waist to kiss him.
Quinn turns around to avoid the kiss.
But her lip print is left on the white shirt.
Quinn frowns and looks at her, “You call the driver yourself.”
Then he leaves without looking back.
What happened between them just now is caught by the camera in secret.
Yaffe and Yannick stand behind the gate designated by the wedding MC. Loud noise inside the hall comes into their ears.
Soon the wedding march plays.
The closed gate slowly opens towards two sides and all guests in the hall turn around to watch her.
The first person comes into Yaffe’s sight is the man at the end of the red carpet.
He silently stands there as straight as a javelin. He is so outstanding that it is impossible to ignore him.
Standing beside Yaffe, Yannick smiles and says, “Dear, let me bring you to him.”
“Thank you, Dad.” Yaffe holds his arm.
“I hoped you could stay with your mum and me till 35, but you get married at 26.”
“You can keep this idea.”
