Wiphy has more subjects than his peers.
His father invites many professional teachers to give lessons in person or on the Internet. He himself checks his homework from time to time.
When he can’t work out the questions, Quinn never blames him. He just looks at him like an idiot, making Wiphy uncomfortable.
When Yaffe finishes shower and came out, she sees Wiphy look at the mini Ipad attentively. He is wearing the earplugs specifically for children. So she walks lightly.
When she is beside the bed, she glances curiously and found a video clip about fencing is playing and the subtitle is English.
She is surprised secretly, but she says nothing to him. She fetches the milk downstairs.
The next day.
Yaffe goes to work as usual. As soon as she drives into the parking lot, she is blocked by a security guard.
Yaffe rolls down the car window, asking in a puzzle, “Captain Lee, what’s wrong?”
“An incident happened in the hematology department and it has something to do with you. So Dr. Qin, we need to get some information from you.”
“The hematology department?”
“Yes.”
“Let me park the car and I’ll come later.”
Captain Lee nods and steps back.
She parks the car in the place where she usually parks with questions in mind.
She works in the surgery department and doesn’t have much contact with staff in the hematology department either in private or at work.
She doesn’t understand why she has something to do with the people in the hematology department.
With these questions, Yaffe takes the lift and arrives on the floor where the hematology department is located.
It is before work time but the department is full of people.
Someone even cries in the crowds.
It is Menke Hu’s voice.
Yaffe planned to inquire for more information in the crowds, but Captain Lee sees her. He calls her loudly, “Dr. Qin, this way.”
All the people look at her.
Yaffe goes there in public’s attention.
Menke bends over the desk and cries with two red eyes. She looks at Yaffe relentlessly.
Yaffe looks back calmly at her with no facial expression.
Menke chokes with sobs, saying, “Dr. Qin, I have nothing against you. Why have you done harm to me?”
“What have I done? I guess there’s a misunderstanding.” Yaffe asks.
“Yesterday the surgery I reported to the surgery department was withdrawn by your department, so my patient got deteriorated. He made a complaint about me. Have you done it?”
“I didn’t see any file or report from your department. Are you sure you asked others to give it to me?”
“Don’t deny. I gave it to you in person.”
Looking at Menke, Yaffe feels a headache.
Now she is sure Menke is framing her. She says, “If you insist, please tell us the exact time when you gave me the report and Captain Lee checked it on the surveillance videos. It’s fair to all.”
“Why don’t you admit withdrawing the file?”
“If I did so, why didn’t I admit?”
Menke freezes by the question and replies after a while, “You wanna take revenge on me.”
“Come on.”
Menke shakes the head, saying, “You thought I instigated the patient’s family members to make troubles. So you framed me.”
Yaffe looks at her in a surprise. She doesn’t understand why she said so.
Menke instigates the family members to make trouble?
She nearly has no dealings with Menke. Why does she aim at her?
However, Yaffe’s surprising and thoughtful expression seems to have a different meaning in others’ eyes.
Seeing her reaction, Menke feels confident. She shouts, “Captain Lee, please judge between right and wrong. Did her expression just now show her guilty feeling? If she didn’t do so, why didn’t she refute in the first time?”
“Why did she need to refute?” a cold voice suddenly appears.
Hearing the voice, Yaffe feels warm.
She also understands why Menke is against her.
Because of this man!
It is known to all in the hospital that Menke is crazy about Quinn. But Yaffe will be his wife.
Quinn goes slowly to Yaffe, saying, “I have evidence to prove that Menke asked the patient’s family member to make my wife trouble. I can also provide the video clip to prove that Menke wanted to frame my wife. If you have confusion, I can provide more evidence.”
Yaffe pulls the sweep of Quinn’s suit with no trace.
Quinn looks at her.
Yaffe adds, “I guess Dr. Hu must have a misunderstanding, so she said I didn’t accept the request from the hematology department. Hope Captain Lee will investigate it clearly and make it clear. Now it’s time for work. Go to work now. I’m sure Captain Lee will make it clear.”
Quinn and Yaffe go to the parking lot together.
Yaffe gets relieved, saying, “Mr. He. Thank you for helping me out of the trouble.”
Quinn snorts. Obviously he isn’t satisfied with the way she dealt with Menke. He says, “You wanna patch up the quarrel, but others might not give back.”
“I know. Frankly speaking, I don’t know whether I dealt with it right or wrong.”
“Really?”
“On the one hand, I think life is hard. Since it is not that serious, I don’t wanna make her embarrassed. I have no hatred with Menke. It’s unnecessary to make her lose the job. On the other hand, she framed me at the risk of the patient’s health, so I don’t think she should work as a doctor any more. It’s dangerous.”
“But you let her go.”
“Let’s try. If she doesn’t realize its seriousness, she’ll suffer.”
Quinn shakes the head, saying, “I won’t give comment on your behavior and thought. Be cautious.”
“I will.” Yaffe opens the door voluntarily for him, saying, “Mr. He, thank you for your hard work. Please.”
Quinn looks at her, feeling funny. He gets inside and drives away.
Yaffe doesn’t go back to the office until she watches his car disappear in the sight.
On her way to the office, she asks herself whether Quinn is Helen of Troy.
You see, it’s not good for a man to be too handsome.
Menke’s news spreads quickly in the hospital. After the security guards’ investigation, she is found involved in the affair. She also lied about the report of the hematology department to frame Yaffe.
When the truth of the two affairs is revealed, Menke has a hard time in the hospital.
The public no longer focuses on Yaffe.
Quinn’s appearance for several times proves that he is serious with Yaffe.
This makes the public extra nice to Yaffe.
Yaffe’s medical skill and degree ranks top among peers in Youndgon Hospital.
Now Quinn makes her win more popularity.
Of course, there is negative influence.
But nobody dare say it in the hospital.
