“How’s Lan?” Susan asked and looked around.
Leo let out a sigh. He sounded panicked, “I said to them that he can’t drink anymore, but they are forcing him to. Look at that big jug. It will be in dangerous if he continues.”
Leo looked as Susan walked past himself and stopped at the table. “How much more does he need to drink? I will drink for him.”
Susan’s appearance surprised them. The person who’s pouring the liquor scanned her up and down. “Are you so righteous, beautiful lady?”
“There. He has to drink up this jug of liquor. Finish it and we’ll let go of what happened today.” The man looked like he was looking at her with his nostrils, his eyes were squinted into a line. He then snorted and said, “Wait a minute. I’ve seen you somewhere before.”
The man scratched his head, but he couldn’t remember.
Susan looked as if she’s fearless on the outside. In fact, she’s shaking so much inside till the point that her legs started to tremble. She frowned when she looked at the jug filled with liquor.
If she drank this, she might really die!
“I… I can drink this myself…” Even though the words that came out of Lan’s mouth were unclear, he still looked at Susan as he spoke.
He reached out for the jug of liquor. Her eyes widen at his action. Is he serious? She came over to stall time for him, how could it backfire?!
“Wait!” She snatched the jug from his hands. With that, quite an amount of liquor flew out of the jug. “As I said, I will drink for you.”
“Stop right there!” The man suddenly spoke up. “I remember now. You’re the one dating Night, the one in the photo!”
The two men beside him suddenly became aware. They took two steps forward, wanting to block them.
“I didn’t expect you to be with him.” The man touched his lower chin while feeling amused. “Night worked so hard to build up his career. Does he know that you’re cheating on him? Hahahaha…”
The people around him laughed along with him.
“Please be logical when you speak.” A familiar voice could be heard.
The laughter stopped abruptly. Their attention was now on Edward Baron.
Edward put his hand around Susan’s shoulder and pulled her close to him.
“Why are you here?” Susan looked at him worriedly.
He gave her arms a squeeze and said, “It’s fine.”
“Lan is already drunk. Can we take him?” Edward asked while looking at the man.
The man laughed mockingly, “Like I said, he has to finish all of these first before leaving.”
“You!” Leo stomped forward, but was blocked by Edward.
Edward smirked. “Dwayne is already on his way here. Everyone is only here for a drink. You won’t want to cause a scene too. Am I right?”
“I’m not afraid of all of you! Today, he…!” A foul smell attacked his nose before the man could finish his sentence.
Lan was holding onto his chest while vomiting non-stop. There’s red substance in his vomit and the red substance was blood.
“Lan!”
“What the hell, why is there blood!”
Leo and Edward were supporting Lan who was trembling. His vomit was so much that he started to get out of breath.
“Let’s go. He’s so disgusting.” The man pinched his nose. He looked away as soon as he saw the blood on the floor. He was most likely worried that this wouldn’t turn out well, so he left with the two men.
“There’s a car outside!” Edward reminded.
Leo nodded. They then carried Lan out. Susan followed behind after picking up Lan’s belongings.
“They’re out!” Cuss and Oakley jumped out of the car as soon as they saw them.
“Hurry, to the hospital.” After Edward and Leo carried Lan onto the backseat, they rushed to the hospital.
