“Are you done? Here is the company!” The chief editor looked at Susan.
Susan bent forward with laughter as if she had heard a joke, while her long hair flowed over her shoulders. After standing straight, she smiled brightly and tilted her head slightly, “Just because you guys are not in the photo, so you guys can do something against your conscience, is it right?”
“This is something that doesn’t have ways, all these are done solely for the job…” Before the chief editor concluded her remarks, she was interrupted.
“Job? Whose job is to betray the interests and privacy of their employees? Huh?” Susan shut down the computer, blowing away a strand of hair sticking to her mouth and looking up at the chief editor, “I quit, you can just consider that I’m coming here today to resign. But this isn’t over.”
“You…” The words lodged in the chief editor’s throat when she saw the person standing at the door.
Susan thought that the chief editor had been rendered speechless, so she showed an imposing attitude and flicked her long hair. But when she turned around, she saw Edward stand in the company’s doorway, beaming at her.
When did he arrive here? He has seen her madness just now?
No, she shouldn’t ruin her domineering aura at this moment.
“Ough,” Susan pulled herself together, walking up to Edward in a high-profile manner and holding his arms, “Honey, let’s go!”
Edward glanced at her fondly, but the moment he raised up his head, his look became frosty, “By the way, not only me but also the manager of DBG club asked me to inform you that since you’ve made the choice, you’ve to be prepared to face all the outcomes.”
Susan was still in a daze, Edward withdrew his arm and hugged her tightly. Giving her a reassuring smile, he took her away.
The weather was getting colder, a gust of cold wind made Susan couldn’t help to shiver.
“Edward,” Susan called him blankly, her arrogant face just now collapsed at that instant.
“Why?” He saw Susan kept changing her facial expression, despite her long face now, he still thought she’s very cute.
He pinched her as ruddy as a porcelain doll face, asked her again, “Are you unhappy?”
“Boohoo…” Susan wailed like a kitten, plunging herself into Edward’s bosom, a muffled voice came from his bosom, “I’m out of a job. I’m going to idle about again.”
The chest her forehead leaning against began to tremble constantly.
Susan’s originally depressed mood was scattered around along with his shake, raising her head and giving him a fierce glare, “Hey! You still laugh!”
“Ok… okay.” When Edward saw Susan about to turn away, he hurriedly grabbed her, “I don’t laugh anymore.”
“Humph,” Susan pouted in the corner.
“It is good that you don’t go to work. Come to Shanghai with me. You have few opportunities for vacation, I can take this opportunity to show you around,” Edward bent his index finger slightly and rubbed Susan’s face.
Susan’s cheeks puffed out even bigger.
“Okay?” Edward’s index finger drew circles on her cheek.
Susan still didn’t speak, so Edward pointed his index finger at her bulged cheeks, poking it lightly.
“Poof…” Susan flicked her lips, making a sound similar to farting.
“Hahaha…” Edward laughed out loud for the first time. Susan felt annoyed and funny at the same time, but when she gazed at him, she couldn’t help calming her anger.
“You’ve got some guts!” Susan pouted.
Edward gasped heavily several times before he stopped laughing. When he saw Susan glare at him, he felt she was extremely cute.
“You won’t treat me like this before.” Susan felt aggrieved, trying to behave like a resentful woman and she said, “You’ve changed.”
Edward looked at her who pretended to be serious, taking a few steps closer to her, “What did you say?”
Susan took two steps back, “I…”
He leaned closer to her ear, caressing her cold and soft earlobe with his warm and soft tongue, “What did you just say? Say it again.”
A shudder ran through Susan’s whole body while a disappointing blush colored her cheeks again.
Unconsciously she shrunk back her neck, looking into his pairs of smug eyes and she knew that she had lost again this time.
Susan Miller, you really are useless and not promising!
