“I’m.. I’m… Pregnant… pregnant… with… your … child,” Emily shuttered as she spoke.
Hearing Emily’s words Jefferson’s brain flew out of his head and he didn’t know what to do.
What the hell was she saying? How could she be pregnant with his child? They had sex just once so how in hell would she become pregnant?
DeLorna who was sitting on the bed frowned when she heard what Emily said and stood from the bed heading to the door.
“You said you’re pregnant for him?” She smirked.
Emily, who was hoping her trick would work, froze when she heard DeLorna’s voice. Anger, hatred, and other emotions welled up in her but she couldn’t do anything; she could only nod her head in reply to DeLorna.
“We’ll see about that in the next two months,” DeLorna smiled.
“You can leave.” She continued.
“Can I leave?” Emily muttered in confusion.
“Yeah, you heard her right? Leave my presence,” Jefferson growled.
Emily had no choice but to stand and scramble away from Jefferson’s presence.
Jefferson signed immediately after Emily left his sight and turned to look at DeLorna.
He didn’t know what to do if Emily was pregnant with his child. Would he marry her? He didn’t know.
All he hoped was that all she said was a lie.
He was hoping the moon goddess would make his wish come true. But what Jefferson did know was that the moon goddess had other things in stock for him.
Glancing back at DeLorna Jefferson grinned happily if it wasn’t for her he wouldn’t have known what to do.
He was also happy that she wasn’t angry with him.
“Babe,” Jefferson called out looking into DeLorna’s eyes.
DeLorna who had sat down on the bed looked at Jefferson with a raised eyebrow and sighed but she didn’t say anything.
Jefferson was confused by DeLorna’s behaviour and didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to apologize to her as he was confused.
Since he came back from war the moon goddess had just been throwing tests at him repeatedly.
He didn’t know if he would be able to endure it if she continued giving him tests like this.
“I’m sorry babe…” Jefferson started.
“I….”
“It’s all right,” DeLorna smiled, interrupting Jefferson and hugging him.
Seeing this, Jefferson was elevated and returned the hug.
Soon the two were lying on the bed in each other’s arms.
It wasn’t long before the two slept off in this position.
Though the position looked rather weird the two were very comfortable sleeping like this.

Emily, who had scrambled away from Jefferson’s presence, went back to Abigail’s room.
Abigail watched as Emily came back to her room shivering looking rather angry.
There was a smirk at the corner of Abigail’s mouth. Though she hadn’t expected DeLorna to interfere she still found it rather amusing.
She heard everything that transpired between Emily, Jefferson, and DeLorna. She hadn’t expected DeLorna to be able to hold back her emotions despite being angry and disappointed with Jefferson.
It seemed as if she was more stronger and intelligent than she had thought.
Though she didn’t know where DeLorna had been for the past two days she knew there was a possibility that she might have guessed she was behind everything.
But she could care less. She was sure she wouldn’t be able to tell Jefferson as he wouldn’t believe her.
As they would say blood is thicker than water. Though Jefferson loved DeLorna deeply she was still Jefferson’s blood sister and he would never believe that his sister tried to harm him.
Well, that was the end of it, as long as she was careful she was sure Jefferson was never going to suspect her.
Emily sat on one of the chairs in her room breathing heavily. It took her a while before she realized she was back in Abigail’s room.
She knew she could have been more pressured than this if Abigail hadn’t interfered and told Jefferson to be lenient with her.
“So the two are back together,” Emily muttered still in shock.
She hadn’t expected DeLorna and Jefferson would be back together so soon.
DeLorna’s sudden presence had given her a lot of scares. Though she knew she had no power to do anything to her even though she was a human.
Jefferson wouldn’t spare her even if it was just a hair she touched on DeLorna’s body.
Sue was sure he could fight against his sister if she also tried to harm his mate.
Looking at Abigail who was staring at her she could not help but lament her fate.
She was just too unlucky. She didn’t know what to do and just sat on the bed looking confused.
Her head had flown off due to the sudden fatigue she felt.
“So what will you do next?” Abigail suddenly asked amidst the silence.
Emily raised her head looking at Abigail.
She didn’t know what to say or do. She was quite sure Abigail knew that the two were back together but then why didn’t she tell her?
But then Emily realized that she might have believed Abigail if she had told her earlier so she had just left her to go and see by herself which she felt was kind of cruel.
Pushing all her thoughts to the back of her mind she looked at Abigail who was grinning.
“I don’t know what to do next, I hope you’ll help me out.” She sighed.
Abigail Smirked when she heard Emily’s words. She knew Emily was heartbroken but it was none of her business.
She had tried to stop her from going to see Jefferson but she was quite stubborn so she had left her to do what she wanted and she had gotten the results she deserved.
Though she didn’t tell Emily not to go to Jefferson’s room she just kept silent she mentioned it.
But Emily had thought she was angry and decided to ask her which she later agreed to.
“There’s no way out for you…” Abigail started,
“The only way out is for you to become pregnant with Jefferson’s child.” She continued.
Hearing Abigail’s words Emily nodded her head and prayed to the moon goddess that she should be pregnant for Jefferson.
“But if you’re not pregnant I’ll find a way out for you,” Abigail yawned loudly.
“I’ll be going to sleep now, we’ll discuss this tomorrow.” She continued and lay back on the bed.
Soon Abigail was fast asleep.
Emily sighed and looked at Abigail who had fallen asleep in a matter of seconds and sighed.
She had no choice but to lay on the king-sized bed beside Abigail trying to go to sleep.
She had been sleeping in Abigail’s room since the incident.
Before Emily knew it, sleep visited her and room her away to the wonderland.
