“So what do we do now?” Emily frowned after thinking about it for some time and noticed that she was sure of getting any ideas.
Abigail, who was deep in thought, looked at Emily and sighed.
“I don’t know for now, but that’s all we can do.” She replied, stroking her chin.
“I just hope Jefferson would be convinced that you’re pregnant for him,” Abigail continued.
“What do you mean?” Emily frowned.
“Don’t you know how intelligent Jefferson is? Do you think if it was another person who did this to him he wouldn’t have fished out the person?” Abigail frowned.
“Though I’m sure he won’t suspect me of the matter of pregnancy…”
“Also don’t forget he has DeLorna by his side and that girl is also crazily intelligent…”
“It won’t be easy to get them to believe that you’re pregnant for him, though he slept with you once I’m not sure if it was your time of the month,” Abigail analyzed.
Emily nods her head slowly on hearing Abigail’s explanation.
There were not many options left for both of them. They had to utilize this.
“Should I inform Jefferson now that I’m pregnant, I could use that opportunity to seduce him?” Emily frowned looking at Abigail who had stood up from where she was sitting and had headed to the bathroom.
Abigail stopped in her tracks and looked at Emily before smirking.
She looked away ignoring Emily and entered the washroom.
Emily watched in surprise as Abigail ignored her and entered the toilet. She began to wonder what she had said wrong.
Soon the door of the washroom opened and Abigail came out wrapped in a towel.
She ignored the strange look on Emily’s face and went to the wardrobe and picked up the pyjamas.
“Why aren’t you replying, have I said anything wrong?” Emily asked almost in tears.
Abigail grinned and turned back to Emily.
“You didn’t say anything wrong.”
“If I didn’t say anything wrong then why didn’t you reply to what I said,” Emily sniffed.
“My silence means you should go on,” Abigail grinned.
She knew if Emily should go to Jefferson’s room tonight something was bound to happen.
It was either DeLorna and Jefferson having another fight or Emily would be heartbroken.
But she didn’t know the future and was eager to see what would happen.
Hearing Abigail’s words Emily sighed and stood heading to the door.
“You should take heart with whatever you see,” Abigail grinned as Emily got to the door.
Immediately Emily turned back looking at Abigail with a confused look expecting her to say something.
But Abigail didn’t say anymore and ignored Emily while lying on the bed preparing to go to sleep.
From Abigail’s actions, Emily knew that something was wrong but she couldn’t pick it up and wondered what was wrong.
She tried to rack her brain but it was impossible. No matter how she tried her brain was blank and wouldn’t give her any positive answer.
When Emily realized she didn’t get it she had no choice but to push the thoughts to the back of her mind and head to Jefferson’s room.
Getting to the door her heart began to beat fast.
it was beating so fast that she felt her heart would break out of her chest.
Trying to calm her nervous self Emily tried to open the door only to find it locked.
She had no choice but to knock gently on the door but no one answered her.
Seeing this she knocked again this time it was a little bit more violent than the first one.
But still, there was no answer.
Seeing this Emily was beginning to get frustrated and rapped on the door again. This time it was even more powerful than the first and second ones.
****
DeLorna, who was a very light sleeper, heard a knock on the door.
Immediately her eyes flung open as she wondered who could be knocking at this time of the night.
She was sure it wasn’t Abigail as she would have barged into the room directly.
At first, she was scared but soon remembered she was worth her mate the strongest in the supernatural world.
Suddenly the knock came again but this time a little bit louder. This made DeLorna even more surprised at the person who was at the door.
Suddenly the knock came for the third time. This time it was louder than the first and second ones.
It was so loud that it woke Jefferson. Though Jefferson too was also a light sleeper.
But due to the stress, he had undergone in the past two days coupled with the pressure of the war his sleep was rather deep this time around.
Jefferson frowned immediately and the knock woke him up and stood up from the bed heading to the door.
DeLorna watched as Jefferson headed to the door and wondered who it could be.
Getting to the door Jefferson opened it only to come in the face of Emily who was about to knock again.
DeLorna who was watching the scene was shocked when she saw who it was.
Immediately anger and disappointment in Jefferson washed over her.
Jefferson was also surprised when he saw who was at the door. He could feel anger and disappointment in DeLorna as he was sure she had gotten him wrong.
Immediately he released his aura which brought Emily to her knees.
This time it was his dangerous aura he released but his Alpha’s aura which was rare of him.
“State your purpose?” Jefferson growled, making Emily shiver.
“I… I just….” Emily shuttered.
“Speak up!” Jefferson growled interrupting Emily, his aura increasing with each sentence of his.
“Jeff you should take things rather slowly with her, she just came to tell you something important.”
A voice spoke and immediately neutralised the aura pressing Emily to her knees.
Jefferson sighed and retracted his aura. He knew who had spoken it was his sister.
Though she didn’t come out of her room she just transmitted her voice loud enough for everyone present in the room to hear while neutralizing his aura at the same time.
His sister had gotten more powerful than he had thought.
Sighing he looked at Emily as he spoke in a rather hoarse and unfriendly tone commanding her to talk.
