He groaned and threw his head back. Were all werewolves like her or was she the stubborn type? He walked towards the bed to sit on it and she shifted back. He kept walking and she kept shifting until she was at the edge of the bed. He sat on the opposite edge. He was hurt by her action, did she think he will harm her?
Or was she just scared of strangers?
“I will tell you what you are doing here, but not now.” He said calmly.
He was looking at her but she was not looking at him, she was looking at his wings, admiring them. He could hear her in his head admiring them.
“Are they real?” She asked.
She did not take her eyes off them. He looked at her silver eyes, if only she was mesmerized by him like she was by his wings. She reached out to touch them but he jerked up and stood up from the bed. Her face looked surprised at his sudden action. Not that he did not want to be touched by her, he longed to be touched by her, but he could not risk having an erection in front of her. She would think him a pervert.
“I only wanted to touch them and see if they are real, they look too real,” Kiara explained.
He did not want her to touch them.
“You can not touch them but I assure you that they are real.” He said.
He walked over to the chair in the corner and sat on it.
“So what am I doing here?” She asked for the umpteenth time.
He groaned again. He would have to do something to keep her busy or distracted.
“You want to see if the wings are real?” He asked.
She knotted her brows, did he not run away and tell her not to touch them just now? But she was curious and she nodded.
“Shut up for the whole day and I’ll take you flying.” He said at once.
He knew she would not resist such an offer. He could see the spark in her eyes.
“You fly with them?” She asked curiously.
“High up in the sky.” He said.
He stood up and wanted to go out of the room but she called him again. He turned around.
“Why can I not open the door? Even the weak human girl could do it.” She asked.
Another thing to make her shut up.
“I will tell you and even make you open it if you just shut up for the whole of today.” He told her.
She sat back on the bed and watched him open the door again and walk out. She laid back on the bed and sighed. She did not know where she was but the best part was that the creatures were nice to her. She tried to think about home and if she would miss her life back at the packs but she did not. Left for her, she would stay where she was.
Night came and he went back to check up on her. He had not been busy but he did not want to go to his room, he didn’t want her asking him where she was or what she was doing there. So he went with his brothers, protecting the people and when it was evening, he knew that was the time to let her see where she was.
It would be brighter and more beautiful. But he came into the room and she was sleeping peacefully on the bed, he went to the bed and looked down at her. She looked extremely beautiful, with her little nose and bright red little lips.
She looked even more beautiful when she was asleep and he could not help but draw closer to her, his face just a few inches towards hers and he was breathing her in. she smelled like him, a strong scent of oranges, she has been using his soap and shampoo and deodorants. He liked it, he liked the fact that she smelled like him, it made him feel like she was his and he owned her.
She was his, but he was yet to mark her and claim her but she was his, and he would do everything to make it remain that way.
His face was still some inches from hers when she woke up and saw him. He rose quickly, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. She rubbed her eyes and sat up.
“What were you doing to me?” She asked.
She did not look suspicious or alarmed and it was a good thing, he would have to start explaining.
“I was waking you up for the flight.” He said.
She knotted her brows.
“What flight?” She asked. Confused.
“To see if these are fake or not.” He said, pointing to his white wings.
She did not say anything more, she just stood up and went into the bathroom, she came out after a while and her face was clearer. She was still wearing the silk blue gown and she came and stood in front of him.
“Let us go.” She finally spoke.
He held her hands and led her out of the room. He had expected that she would protest but she did say and he was glued. They walked out of the room, went through the turns and stairs and they were finally out of the house. She stood out there flabbergasted at the beauty of the city. It was night and the lights were bright and shining. He picked her up in his arms suddenly and she gasped. She felt light and weightless in his arms. He looked at her.
” Are you ready?”
She looked doubtful and scared but she nodded. Immediately she nodded, he released his wings and they came out largely. They were pure white and now for some reason, they had lights on them and they were glowing. She gasped.
“They are real!” She exclaimed.
