CHAPTER 76

Book:THE REBIRTH LUNA: Her Oppression Published:2024-6-2

He went to where his brothers were and they understood why he had brought the girl. She was his mate. They exchanged knowing glances and Jeff came to hug him, he was the only one who understood better, Jeff had found Gwen not too long ago and now he has found his mate.
“Congratulations brother,” Jeff said when he pulled away from the hug.
He only managed to smile.
He did not know how the girl would react if she woke up.
Would she hate him or love him?
He did not know and he was nervous. But Jeff told him to calm down, he assured him that it will be fine. Jeff’s assurance didn’t help, he was getting restless. He needed to take a break. He warned the others not to disturb her or talk to her even when she was awake.
He went outside and the cool breeze brushed against him, he felt good and relieved.
He spread out his white wings and he flew off. He was soaring the sky and claiming it as his own. He was racing with the birds and he was watching the city from above.
That is what guardian angels do, guarding the city and protecting the people. He flew for a while and when the sun was up in the sky, he decided to fly down and he did.
When he got to the house, his brothers told him the girl was awake and butterflies filled his stomach. He had to go and talk to the girl. He went to his room and he found her in his closet, he was still wondering what she was doing in his closet when her voice echoed in his head.
He could hear her thoughts, he was surprised at first but Jeff had told them that he and Gwen hear each other’s thoughts. He had started hearing first but Mark could not believe that he too could hear his mate’s thoughts.
He tried to get her to tell him her name but she proved to be very stubborn but she finally did. Kiara. It was one of the most beautiful names he ever heard and when he came out finally and his brothers teased him and they asked him her name, he said he did not know. When the girl finally came down for dinner and they got into the dining room, the girl touched his wings. He was not prepared for that result. Although he had been touched severally by people he had never felt that way before.
A strong wave of pleasure ran through his body immediately she touched his wings and he jumped. He was not prepared for that and it took him by surprise too, the pleasure wave giving him a hard boner. They sat down and he introduced his brothers to her and her to them, except that she was his mate. They knew already.

Kiara finished her food in silence and went back to the room she was in, she could not open the door from outside when she got there, she went back to the dining room where Mark was and asked to see him.
“Missed me too much?” He asked on their way to his room.
Kiara scoffed.
“You wish.” She replied.
She asked for help with the door and as soon as it was opened, she got inside and the winged man closed it again. She went and sat on the bed. She realized that she has not been told where she was, but she did not feel bothered.
In normal circumstances, she was supposed to scream and cry and fight back but for some reason, she was not doing any of those. She felt safe. She felt at home in a place for once in her entire life. Maybe it was because she has never wanted to be in the werewolf’s territory because her mother and the change of environment were shutting her up.
She stood up and went into the closet to change. She sat on the chair that was in the closet, looking into the mirror in front of her. She could see herself and it reminded her of the one person she hates with all of her, her mother.
“Should I come in and help you, my lady?” A voice spoke at the closet door.
Kiara looked towards the door to know who spoke. It was the human girl. Maybe she could get a piece of information out of her. Kiara told the girl to come in and help her and the girl did. She took off the gown and jewellery she had and wore the silk gown she had earlier. She went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed, she could never get enough of the feeling of softness of the bed. The human girl bowed and turned to leave but she called her back.
“What is your name?” Kiara asked the girl when she was in front of her.
“Sarah. My name is Sarah, my lady.” The human girl said.
She pointed at the chair in the corner of the room, a gesture for the girl to sit but she did not.
“servants do not lazy around my lady.” Was the girl’s response.
Kiara did not pressurize her anymore. She just went ahead and started a conversation, she wanted to know where she was and who the winged men were. She felt safe but she had to know.
“Where is this?” Kiara asked when the girl refused to sit down.
The girl opened her mouth to say something about but someone came in. It was the white-winged man. The door opened largely and the man came in with his large wings. He stood at the door.
“Leave us.” He spoke.
He was speaking to the human girl and she left the room. When the girl left, he stood at the door looking at her with his lazy eyes and this time she had hers on him.
“What am I doing here?” She asked him again.
