It was Kiara’s first time seeing a human and the girl looked and smelled weak but Kiara did not feel dominant over her.
Kiara had pity instead. She finally recollected herself and replied to the girl.
“A warm bath.” She replied.
The girl dropped the clothes and accessories and walked into the door that was the bathroom door. The girl did not take too long and she finally came out. She told Kiara her bath was ready and Kiara stood up and walked into the bathroom. It was a big bathroom that could be a person’s bedroom. Kiara wondered why a person needed so much of a spacious bathroom. She had her bath and tied a towel that she found in the bathroom around her chest and came out. The human girl insisted on helping her out with everything. She did.
Kiara was finally dressed in the cloth that the girl had brought. It was a royal blue flowing gown with long sleeves and a choking neck. She used the jewellery too and when it was time for her to leave the room, she watched as the human girl opened the door with ease and she went out.
When Kiara stepped out of the room, her eyes widened. The house was extremely huge and covered with gold. Even the floor was gold. The human girl took her through so many stairs and when they finally got to the base of the stairs, Kiara saw him. The guy that said he was an angel. He was handsomely dressed and stood waiting for her. He gave her his arm when she was close to him and she took it. The human girl bowed and left.
Kiara and Mark continued walking until they got to a large door, Mark opened the door and they walked in. Kiara could not hide her shock. They were there, three more of the winged men and a woman. Kiara looked at Mark’s wings and now that they were closer, they looked much more real. Kiara reached out and touched them and the man jumped backwards, which startled Kiara.
“Don’t ever do that again.” The man said.
He looked serious and Kiara apologized. They sat down at the dining table and Kiara looked at the men, she could only recognize the blond hair. The woman among them stood up and came and pulled Kiara in for a hug. Kiara was confused but she hugged the woman back. She was a pretty woman and Kiara could see that she was not a human and she was not a werewolf. She wondered what the woman was. The woman introduced herself as Gwen. Kiara said a brief greeting to the other men and sat down.
“Are you not going to introduce us, brother?” One of the winged men spoke.
The question was directed at Mark and he smiled knowingly. He called Kiara and pointed out to the blonde hair who said he was Shawn and introduced him as Shawn.
He pointed at another one, he had black hair but his wings were black. A deep shade of black. His eyes were black too. Mark introduced him as Lian.
He pointed at another one, this one had black hair too but his wings were multicoloured. It did not have a specific colour, It was just multicoloured. He had hazel eyes. Mark introduced him as Kevin.
He pointed at the last one of them, he had black hair too, his eyes were blue, and his wings were blue too. Mark introduced him as Jeff.
Mark turned back to Kiara.
“Brothers, meet Kiara.”
Kiara waved at them and they waved back. The introduction was over and they all started eating.
**** MARK’s P. O. V ***
He was in the air, flying to the fairies’ territory. The light fairies to be precise. Jeff had found his mate and taken her home. She was a light fairy and he was going to tell the Queen of the light fairies that one of his brothers has found and taken a light fairy as a mate.
He was still flying when he could feel his mate pause. She was breathing calmly and he stopped in the air. He was still trailing the pause and it was leading him to the werewolf territory. She was a werewolf. He did not ever think he will find a werewolf as a mate, not that he was not happy about the fact that his mate was a werewolf, he was happy but he was just surprised.
He continued trailing the pause and it led him to her window. She was young and beautiful. She was sleeping on the bed, he could not leave without her. He was an Angel and angels don’t leave their mates when they found them and he was not going to leave her too. He disappeared and appeared in her room, beside her bed. She looked extremely beautiful now that he was closer. He bent down and scooped her in his arms, she looked small in his hands. He took her bed duvet cover and covered her with it, he was going to fly and the weather was cold. She will get sick. He took her and did not go to the fairies anymore, he headed back home.
He got to the house and his brothers were there. She was still sleeping. They saw him holding her and Shawn came to see her but he growled at Shawn. They all laughed but he did not pay heed to them. He took her to his room and laid her down on his bed. He did not even know her name. He stood up and went outside and asked a servant girl to go change the clothes of the girl on the bed. He could have done it but he did not want to. It will make her mad when she wakes up and knows that a man changed her.
