The drive back to Deimos’s pack was neither exciting nor fun. As time crept slowly it became painful and stressed me to the point of tears. I didn’t want to return. Yes, I missed my females severely yet I always found peace with Cronus. And now that I am stripped of his warmth, it frightens me. I don’t know where I would run and find peace if Deimos breaks it again.
Deimos’s eyes watch the tears streaming down my face softly as my eyes notice the shake of his hands and the tight clench of his jaw. He doesn’t like the fact that he is the reason for my tears. He doesn’t like that he is forcing his female back to the place she doesn’t want to be in.
“Stop crying, mate.” He whispers as I glare out the window at the passing trees.
“Does it bother you?” I ask him as I hiccup softly.
“Yes.” He says.
“Then you should have left me at Cronus’s pack.” I glare at him showing my frustration as Deimos balls his fist and looks away. He doesn’t speak another word. I have won this time.
Deimos neither looks at me nor sparks a conversation for the rest of our journey and it pleases me. I am not interested in anything he has to say. As I drown in my thoughts the car jerks to a stop and I wince and look around.
The driver gets off and opens Deimos’s door. Deimos glides off the car stretching his limbs as he walks to my side opening the door. I don’t move to watch him questioningly. Where are we? What are we doing here?
Deimos smiles softly answering my questions that he didn’t hear. “There’s a restaurant up ahead. Let’s eat, mate.” He says giving me his hand to take.
I ignore his hand and walk forward leaving him behind. With my head held high, I pay him no attention as I keep walking towards the restaurant. I flinch when suddenly I am shoved back into a hard chest. Deimos crushes me tighter his large hands holding my waist.
He whispers in my ear, “Don’t you know I love myself a chase, mate?” His voice is husky and low.
I struggle to try to free myself as he holds me tighter. “Silent treatment? Are you not going to speak to me?” He says with a chuckle as if speaking to a pup. He teases me and my frustration creeps up to the brim. I stomp on his leg yet he makes no move.
“Okay how about this, I’ll give you two options. You either speak now or I’ll take you back into the car and make you scream my name. Choose wisely mate.” His voice is dark as I feel his hot breath upon my neck. “I prefer you choose the second one,” Deimos whispers as his teeth bite into the back of my neck. Pulling softly and sucking, he rains pleasure upon me.
I gasp as the feeling takes over me. Deimos rubs himself upon the flesh of my ass and I feel his heat through the clothes. I shift my neck to the side as he pours hot kisses and bites upon it. I don’t pay attention to our environment as I enjoy the sensation and the fire between us. It has been quite a long time since he touched me.
As I come back to earth I jerk away surprising him and look behind panting. “I choose option one,” I say as Deimos smiles. No, not a kind smile but a smile that pairs with the promise of pleasure in his eyes.
Deimos takes the lead and I follow quietly not wanting to awaken his dominance and passion again. I don’t want to get distracted from the heat of our bodies. As he opens the door to the restaurant the loud chattering ends to a complete pin drop silence.
The wolves get off their chairs and bow deeply to us as the waiter stumbles towards us with nervous steps. Deimos nods towards a table at the back as the waiter bows and guides us. I on the other hand smile and nod at the wolves accepting their greeting.
As we sit down, the chatter begins and the wolves go on with their conversations. As I skim through the wolves seated my eyes find a family. The parents are deep in their chatter as the pups stare at me with their big curious round eyes. I smile softly and chuckle when they look away quickly with red cheeks. How much warmth and happiness would a family have?
“Do you want that?” Deimos asks me calmly as I nod my head. “With me?” He asks once more, his voice strong and sharp as I look into his eyes.
“I-I… don’t k-know anymore,” I tell him looking away. I feel like I am doing something wrong by saying this to him.
