Emily’s p. o. v
I lay on my bed breastfeeding my little one with a smile across my face.
Cole sat next to me looking at the baby while Jason leaned against the door frame at the entrance.
I moved my hand and touched the baby’s hand carefully.
“He’s so cute.” I whispered.
“He has your beautiful eyes.” Cole responded then stood up.
“I’ll be right back.” He said then walked out of the room.
I looked at Jason with a frown.
“Come closer,” I whispered.
He stood upright then moved closer and stood in front of me.
“You have been quiet since I was discharged, is something bothering you?” I asked softly.
He sighed loudly then sat down with his back towards me.
“I was just thinking and wondering how nice it must feel to have a pup.” He answered.
I felt bad and somehow guilty, they were both my mates, but the one that wanted a family with me was Jason. He went on to even ask me to start one with him.
I moved my hand and pressed it on his gently.
He turned and faced me sadly.
“You want a family with me. I too want one with you. That’s why I am asking you to give me a year and a few months. Once the little one stops breastfeeding and begins to walk, we will try for a baby. After all, he needs a little sister or brother.” I said softly.
He lifted his free hand and pressed it on my cheek.
“I don’t want to force you or make you feel guilty.” He whispered as I chuckled softly.
“I wanted to give you a child since that day you asked me.” I answered honestly.
He leaned in and kissed my lips lightly then pulled back.
“I will wait Emily, and this time, I will have you all to myself. I will kidnap you from him.” He said as I laughed.
“That’s a good plan you got there.” Cole said loudly when he walked in.
“You don’t mind do you?” Jason asked seriously.
“No, I don’t. It’s just that I will be lonely without her by my side.” He answered.
I frowned then squeezed Jason’s hand.
“How about merging your two packs like how Brandon and Landon did?” I asked.
“Wait. Cole, were you serious when you said those two were truly your friends?” Jason asked loudly.
“Yes, they are actually more like my brothers… our brothers.” He answered with a smile.
“Are you for real?. Those two are well known and feared in a lot of Werewolf territories. They kill without hesitation or remorse. I heard that they even enjoy having a blood bath.” Jason said loudly as I laughed.
“Those two are so harmless, those rumors are surely just rumors.” I answered.
“The twins aren’t like that Jason. They are kind and very friendly. Also, I think Emily is right. Maybe it’s time we merge our two packs and form one. What do you say we expand and contract your pack house again?” He asked seriously.
“I think that’s a great idea, but first, when are we going back home?” He asked back.
They both looked at me.
Damn it, I was really enjoying my stay here, but then again the pack needed their Alphas.
“How about we travel after our little one is three months old?” I asked.
“Well, we will have to call and ask the Dr for her opinion.” Cole answered.
“Then for now, I will call Ken and tell him to begin with the renovations and building plan.” Jason said.
“That’s a good idea, I too will talk to Cobi. Our betas need to meet, talk through everything and work hard together.” Cole answered.
We heard light footsteps on the stairs before mother walked in with a cup of hot tea.
“Food is ready, you boys should go and have something to eat. I will remain with Emily.” Mother said calmly.
“Thank you,” Jason answered then stood up and walked to the door.
“Cole, are you coming?” He called out.
“Yes,” Cole answered then walked to him.
They both left the room leaving me with my mother.
“How are you feeling?” She asked softly.
“I’m okay.” I answered with a smile while looking at the baby.
“Um…. is it me or does Jason look a little sad?” She asked getting my full attention.
I sighed softly then nodded.
“He is sad mother. He wanted a baby with me but I ended up getting pregnant by Cole. He doesn’t want to sound selfish or be seen as a bad man to us. The truth is that he wanted a child with me.” I answered honestly.
“Oh, I see.” She whispered.
“So what do you think about that?” She asked.
“I will give him a child mother. Just not right now.” I answered.
“Being mated to twin alphas isn’t all that simple.” She whispered then moved and sat down opposite me on the couch.
“The twins and I have decided to go back to their country once the baby reaches three months old.” I said seriously.
“You will be going back so soon?” She asked loudly.
“Mother it isn’t so soon, we have been here for months, and the people that side need their leader. I can’t be selfish and continue staying here when I’m mated to them. I am the luna of their pack after all.” I answered.
“I see, you have already decided everything.” She said softly.
“Yes. That’s why I would like it if you were to come with me. Both you and Ms Benedict.” I whispered.
She widened her eyes and stood up.
“Will the twins be okay with that?” She asked.
“Of course mother, the twins adore you so much and look up to you. They would be thrilled to have you with them. If you don’t want to come with us then that’s okay too, just be sure to visit us every chance you get.” I answered.
She kept quiet for a few minutes then sighed loudly.
“I’ll have to ask Teresa if she would love to come with us. But that’s before I decide whether to go with you or not.” She answered.
“Okay, I understand.” I said softly with a smile and meant it.
