“Brother… She’s the rude miss feisty I told you about!” Scott didn’t give Chris a chance to talk. Emily gritted her teeth angrily and clenched her hands tightly to stop herself from doing the inevitable.
But… Scott just called this man brother. As if that wasn’t enough, Chris said, “Ryan, she is my new employee.” Emily’s heart almost leapt out of her chest as she cowered in fear.
He is the big boss Ryan! Before she could assimilate what was going on, Ryan ordered, “Release her to me.” Emily shook lightly. He is clearly aiming for revenge. Aish! What has she gotten herself into?
“Of course… Of course. You can take her,” Chris agreed hurriedly. After what he had just witnessed, he would gladly accept anything Ryan says.
Ryan smirked as he watched Emily. He can smell the faint scent of fear in the air. Wasn’t she haughty the other time? He’ll teach her never to mess with the boss again.
‘Ray… Did you say something now?’ he suddenly asked his wolf cause he just felt that the latter just chanted something in his head but he didn’t hear it well.
‘Mind your own business,’ Ray replied rudely. ‘Don’t you dare lay a finger on her or I’ll make you pay,’ he added making Ryan speechless.
He turned to tell them he is leaving when he noticed Scott looking at him like he is a traitor. He was confused but then he remembered that Scott had asked him to request on his behalf for Emily to be released to him.
He coughed awkwardly and left the office. Emily immediately followed him out. Till they got to his office, she didn’t stop praying. She even decided that she was going to apologise when they get inside the office.
But when the door closed behind her, she ran into someone. Looking up, she gulped fearfully to find that Ryan had turned around and was now standing so close to her that she was staring at his neck directly.
She immediately walked backwards, the door obstructing her from moving further. Ryan smiled and walked toward her seeing that she had nowhere else to go.
Emily immediately bowed almost in tears. “Boss… Please forgive your humble servant… I… I didn’t know who you were that time that’s why I said so much nonsense to you,” She explained.
Ryan lifted her chin up with his finger to make her look at him. Emily couldn’t breathe. Honestly, where his finger is touching is on fire.
“Why is your face so red?” Ryan queried innocently, stroking her cheeks that were slowly turning pink. Emily almost choked. ‘Boss! Can you stop doing that?’ she screamed inwardly but didn’t dare say a word.
“It must be because of the feverish symptoms I’ve been having lately,” She lied. Ryan stopped his movement. She just lied. But unlike before, his eyes or voice didn’t change. He only had this irresistible urge to punish her.
“Rule number one… Never lie to the boss… Anytime you lie, you would get punished,” Ryan said lowly. Emily was puzzled but when the words registered in her head, she understood what he meant.
Wait… Did he know she just lied? How? “Now tell me… Why is your face so red?” Ryan’s fingers were slowly trailing to her ears.
Emily immediately bent down and escaped from the suffocating situation. “What do you want me to do for you boss?” She tried to evade his question as she stepped aside.
Ryan turned sideways to look at her. A plan slowly hatched in his mind. “For your first punishment, you will be my PA,” His words surprised her. She… She only has marketing skills not working as a personal assistant.
“Anything I want or need, you will always be available to… give it to me,” Emily watched as his eyes trailed from her face to the open area of her shirt. She immediately wrapped her hands around herself.
Pervert! Why didn’t he just say he wants her to be his slave instead of disguising it with the title of PA? But she nodded.
Ryan pulled her almost making her stumble but luckily he caught her in time. “Always give an answer with your mouth whenever the boss speaks to you,” He whispered into her ears.
Emily squirmed uncomfortably. Does she have to be so close to him to hear him!? “Yes sir… Please let go,” She managed to say and he released her.
‘ She doesn’t repulse you like others?’ Ray’s voice floated in Ryan’s head and the latter looked at Emily with a surprised look that he tried to conceal. Others didn’t know this but the cause of his OCD, he has been really uncomfortable being around or close to women.
But just, he had just involuntarily pulled Emily closer and his body didn’t react… badly to it. “Is that all sir?” Emily seemed absolutely terrified by now.
“I will ask someone to prepare a table and chair for you in that corner,” He pointed at somewhere in the room. Emily coughed. In this same office! Why can’t she have her own office!?
“Well, you are my PA so you should be close by every time,” He immediately explained. Emily didn’t say a word. It is clear that he wants to torture her.
Ryan looked at her and then walked to his chair to sit down. “Come here,” He ordered and Emily walked towards him like a robot.
“As a PA, what is your first duty?” He asked her.
“Huh,” Emily looked totally lost. What is she supposed to do? She tried to think of something to say but words failed her. Ryan stood up again and walked around the table to her.
“I’m listening,” He told her with an amused look. Emily tried to look anywhere else but him. “Sir… I don’t know,” She replied softly.
Ryan arched his eyebrows at this. He wasn’t expecting her to admit it so easily. She seemed like a totally different person from the person in the elevator that day.
That Emily was rude but this one in front of him seemed meek. “What’s your name?,” Realizing he didn’t even know her name yet.
“Emily.”
Ryan nodded and Emily looked at him to gauge his reaction. Her eyes didn’t mean to fall on his lips as he thought of what to tell her.
“A good PA handles all the paperwork the boss has without any complaint or mistakes,” Ryan cut her sinful thoughts short as he dumped a bundle of files in her hand.
