“Did you discuss it with him as I instructed you to?” She asked, straightforwardly.
Mia sighed and answered solemnly, “Aunty, he said he is only willing to come home if Kral also agrees to come home.” The Luna sighed loudly.
“I tried my best aunty but he was just being too adamant and you know how Kral is. He won’t agree so easily,” Mia explained.
“I understand. Thank you. I’ll try talking to them myself,” She told Mia and briefly ended the call.
Leaving the room, she mumbled in an aggrieved tone, “Oh moon goddess! What sort of obstinate sons have you given to me? One doesn’t even listen to me or his father while the other will gladly follow his brother’s decision.”

Meanwhile in the hall that I assume is the waiting area of the mansion. The alpha walked in and the omega waiting for him immediately stood up to bow to him.
The alpha nodded and walked to his seat. As soon as he sat down, he asked the omega in a dismissal tone, “Why are you here?”
The omega looked hesitant at first but in the end, he mustered the courage to say, “I have come due to the matter concerning finding a luna for the Kral.”
The Alpha’s eyes twinkled at this statement. They only call his son ‘Kral’ which means king whenever they have something serious to request for.
He already had an inkling of what the omega wanted to say but he just wants to hear the words from the horse’s mouth.
“Alpha, I’ll like to apologise before saying this in case I say anything that will offend you,” The omega bowed and he nodded, looking a little bit impatient.
“Alpha… You are well aware that my daughter Ayeesha whom we have sent all the way… Across the seas to gain more knowledge has just arrived,” He first praised his daughter.
The alpha looked amused but he just kept quiet. “She has been pestering us lately that she wants to see the Kral. We were thinking that you’d perhaps let him meet her once and perhaps a bond might form between them,” he finished his statement and bowed.
The alpha was very amused. He thought of what his mate had just told him in the room. ‘So this is what she was talking about. Have they noticed that trying tactics on my mate isn’t working? That’s why they have decided to come to me instead,’ he thought.
Meanwhile, the omega could feel his heart beat faster as he waited for the alpha’s response. Finally, the Alpha cleared his throat and told him in a neutral tone, “As you can also see, the Kral isn’t here. But as soon as he comes back home, I will inform you to send your daughter here.”
The omega looked grateful. He even prostrated to the alpha. “Of course my Lord,” He said and left briskly, feeling happy that he had been the first to come to the alpha.
Once the hall was silent, the alpha burst into laughter. “Dear Kral, I bet you will have to learn the hard way,” He soliloquized. “Since you have refused to come home, whenever you come, you will have a bunch of marriage requests already waiting for you.”

“Ryan, do you think putting up job vacancy ads just a few minutes after we fired them is the best thing to do now,” Chris called out as he looked up from the laptop. His head was already hurting from having to go through job applications so soon, just a few minutes after they passed the ads.
“Stop worrying so much. Act like my cousin for goddess’ sake,” Ryan snapped, feeling frustrated with Chris’s countless questions.
“They won’t know how serious I am if I don’t act on it,” He said calmly after snapping. Chris nodded. “We have to make the next move before the unknown takes a step,” Ryan said.
“Okay. I trust your decision. But let me tell you now. I am already tired of reading multiple applications so I will only shuffle through it and randomly choose any lucky person,” Chris told him.
“Do as you please,” Ryan shrugged. Just then, the door opened and a lady walked in without knocking. Ryan wasn’t even in a state to yell at her when he saw how terrible she looked.
Her eyes were red and puffy. Her mascara looked stained and a half was wiped off obviously with her tears. Her hair was scattered everywhere and it looked like it was a mad woman that was dressed in a corporate suit.
She fell to her knees and cried out, “Boss! What about the innocent ones? I depend on this job to pay my bills and my brother’s hospital bills. He has only been allowed to stay in the hospital for this long cause more than half of my monthly salary is immediately sent to the hospital.”
Ryan looked at her but she didn’t look familiar. He has never seen her until today. Well, there are countless employees in the company so it’s acceptable that he doesn’t know all of them.
“If this company had been ruined before we figured this out, will you still pleading in front of me like this?” Ryan asked coldly. The woman cried at this.
“Boss… You can’t lay us… You can’t lay me off like this. You even already put up an ad for the vacancy. I have nowhere else to go,” She cried again.
Before Ryan could say anything, Chris that has been quiet immediately said, “No need to cry. Don’t cry. You are not fired.”
Both Ryan and the unknown woman looked at Chris in surprise. Chris acted oblivious to Ryan’s curious gaze and focused on the lady instead.
“I’m not fired?” She asked again to confirm.
Chris nodded and told her, “Just take this as a leave. An early holiday. I’ll call you back as soon as this gets settled. What’s your name?”
The woman looked so excited that she immediately answered, “I’m Alicia. Thank you very much, sir… Thank you, sir.”
“Miss Alicia, I will appreciate it if this stays in this office,” He told her and she nodded. She already understands what he is saying. He wants this meeting to stay in this room.
She thanked him again and left. Ryan didn’t even let the door close before he asked him, “Chris, what was….?”
The door reopened again and Scott walked in.
