Emily sighed in frustration and sat up on her bed. “This idiot has completely ruined my mood and now I can’t even sleep. What must I do now ?” She soliloquized, looking very upset.
She looked around briefly and her eyes fell on the phone on the bed. She reached forward and picked up the phone remembering that she already decided to go on an online job hunt.
She still doesn’t know what she wants to do though but she assumes that she will find something she likes when she checks. So she opened her phone, clicked on the google chrome browser on it and then her search began.
She scrolled down at the possible list of jobs a website brought to her. A frown slowly made its way to her face as she continued checking out the jobs not finding the one she thinks will be suitable for her.
A few minutes passed by but she still hasn’t found a suitable job. It’s either she doesn’t like the job or she has none of the skills required for the job.
She was slowly getting exhausted from searching for one and was about to exit the website when a pop-up suddenly displayed on it.
That was when she saw the ad… It’s an ad for a financial job in a company named Derrick & Sons… And it’s only been posted a minute ago. Looking at the time and the blank space which is meant to be for the salary, she felt sceptical.
She slowly recounted the bad signs in her head. They only just posted this a minute ago, they did not specify the type of job only that it is related to the finance department and they didn’t even mention the salary.
These are clearly signs of a quack company. But she still bookmarked the page and then went off to research the company. Her mouth flew open when she saw that Derrick & Son’s company is currently the second biggest company in New York.
They are even slowly uprising to the top. She couldn’t close her mouth. Who said quack company? Oh! That was her. Then she is going to retrace her words right now.
This is obviously a sign of Godsent help. Well, back in college, she studied finance so she is sure she could handle the job well. She clicked on the bookmarked page immediately and was stunned once again.
The ad she had been insulting four minutes ago already had almost one thousand comments and replies on it. She looked worried. With so many people willing and rushing to work with this company, is the job still available?
But she shrugged off her thoughts and clicked on the apply button. She filled in all the required information and submitted the few things they requested for. When she finished, her phone gave a quick chiming sound to indicate that her application had been successful.
She had been able to apply even with so much traffic on it. She sighed in relief as she watched the message that showed on the phone screen,’ Thank you for the wonderful application. We will get back to you soon.’
The message is probably an automated one but she didn’t care. At least, she still got to apply. Her stomach grumbled just in time and she chuckled before rubbing her flat stomach.
Yawning, she walked to the kitchen.

“Alpha king, one of the omegas has been waiting for you,” a maid immediately informed the middle-aged man that walked out of the bathroom wearing just a towel. His body still had waterdrops that showed that he had just taken his bath.
She didn’t look flustered even though the alpha is nude. He looked up at her with an emotionless face.
“Get the luna to come to dress me up. Tell the omega that I’ll be there in a few minutes,” He told her and she nodded before bowing. Then she turned to leave. A few minutes after she left, a knock resounded on the door and a heavily dressed woman walked in.
Her clothes screamed of elegance and wealth. She walked to him and without a word began to dress him up. She acted oblivious to the alpha stealing glances at her.
Until he couldn’t take it anymore and asked, “You have something to say right? Just saying and don’t confuse me with your silence.”
She smiled at his words and told him softly, “Why don’t you let him come back first before making decisions on his behalf? Do you know that cause of the single statement you made at the banquet about getting him a suitable luna has caused so many women to flock around me recently? Both old and young.”
The alpha chuckled and answered her, “I thought you love the attention.”
“This unwanted attention is suffocating. Sooner or later, I am afraid I will be cajoled to choose a luna for him. Which will go against the words of the witch…”
“You shouldn’t think too much about the words of that old hag,” the alpha tried to reassure her but she wouldn’t have it.
“Witches’ words are almost the same as the words spoken by the moon goddess messenger. I’m really afraid this might actually cause a rift in the future,” she explained.
“They do not worship the moon goddess so they can absolutely not be compared to the messengers of the moon goddess,” The alpha refuted her words.
“But they also believe in Lucifer,” She seemed to have struck a nerve when she said this cause the alpha’s face twitched in anger. He kept mute and put a small crown on his head.
He turned to look at her and told her, “Don’t worry about those things. Leave it to me… Just focus on getting your obstinate son and his brother home.”
Saying this, he left. “He won’t even let someone help him… Too much of responsibilities can be tiresome,” she complained as he left the room.
She brought out a phone and called someone. “Hello aunty,” A familiar and sweet voice answered the call.
“How are you, Mia? I hope I am not disturbing you,” Luna asked but the recipient of the call immediately interjected, “Not at all aunty.”
