Chapter 677: Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan – Caramel with Love

Book:Devoted Love, Mr. Hayes' Darling Wife Published:2024-6-2

Jonathan Tasis slept very soundly, probably because he had gone through a lot of emotions and exertions last night, and even had a little fever in the middle of the night after the rain, so this morning he slept so lightly that he didn’t even notice that Eleanora Lozada woke up.
Jonathan Tasis woke up to find that Eleanora Lozada was not with him or at the lodge. Remembering the last time Eleanora Lozada left, when he was too drunk to sleep, Jonathan Tasis became inexplicably nervous when he woke up and Eleanora Lozada was gone.
“Eleanora? Eleanora!”
Jonathan Tasis immediately pulled up the covers, got out of bed, put on his slippers and went out in his bathrobe to find Eleanora Lozada.

Here, Eleanora Lozada came to Tomas Salcedo’s bedroom to ask Jonathan Tasis for clothes.
Last night, Jonathan Tasis got soaked in the rain and his clothes were soaked all over. Jonathan Tasis and Tulio Moralez came in a hurry and did not bring a change of clothes.
Eleanora Lozada got up early to wash Jonathan Tasis’ clothes, but conditions here are so backward that there is no washer to tumble dry, let alone a dryer, so we have to rely on natural drying, but the sun hasn’t shone much today, so the clothes won’t be dry until tomorrow.
As soon as Tomas Salcedo opened the bedroom door, Eleanora Lozada saw Tomas Salcedo’s bruised and swollen face, which was a bit tragic and comical. It was Jonathan Tasis’ fault for hitting someone yesterday. ”
Tomas Salcedo asked incredulously, “So what is President Jonathan’s relationship to you?”
Eleanora Lozada no longer needed to hide anything and said, “I have kept you in the dark, but Jonathan Tasis is the father of the child I am expecting.”
“…” Tomas Salcedo was a bit annoyed, his brow furrowed more, “Eleanora, you should have told me earlier.”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t think it would cause you trouble.”
As soon as Eleanora Lozada’s words were out of her mouth, a stern, commanding male voice suddenly rang out, “What are you telling her you’re sorry?”
Eleanora Lozada and Tomas Salcedo simultaneously looked toward the source of the sound, only to see Jonathan Tasis striding toward them in a light pink bathrobe that was … an unknown number of sizes too small and in flip-flops.
The two long legs under the bathrobe didn’t match this damn ghost bathrobe.
This was the first time Eleanora Lozada had seen such an unconventional Jonathan Tasis.
Normally, Jonathan Tasis was an overbearing, well-dressed man, even at home in his house clothes, the man’s aura was overwhelming, even when he was in front of her and deliberately restrained, but Eleanora Lozada had never seen something as untrustworthy as Jonathan Tasis was today.
Eleanora Lozada couldn’t help but snort and laugh.
Jonathan Tasis frowned slightly as he approached her, “What’s that smile?”.
Eleanora Lozada was about to say something when she thought Tomas Salcedo was there and said, “Nothing, later.”
Jonathan Tasis took Eleanora Lozada’s hand and looked at Tomas Salcedo with arrogant eyes, “Professor Tomas, I have bothered you to take care of my Eleanora before, I misunderstood when I hit you yesterday, Professor Tomas as Eleanora’s common friend, when Eleanora was in trouble, you went to inform the search and rescue team to go up the mountain to save Eleanora, I must thank you for that.”
Tomas Salcedo felt humiliated to the point that his face got hot.
Jonathan Tasis apparently thanks him, but the significance of this statement is clearly twofold.
First, Tomas Salcedo and Eleanora Lozada were ordinary friends, and second, Tomas Salcedo shrugged his shoulders when something happened to Eleanora Lozada.
If they were ordinary friends, no one would want to risk his life, but this Tomas Salcedo, who says he likes Eleanora Lozada, is so unlikely to stand the test of his affection.
Even if Jonathan Tasis did not say so, Eleanora Lozada knew that she had no expectations about Tomas Salcedo himself, and that she would only feel guilty if he climbed the mountain to save her, and she would not know how to repay Tomas Salcedo.
Eleanora Lozada reached out and squeezed Jonathan Tasis’ fingers without moving, signaling him to stop talking.
Jonathan Tasis perceived Eleanora Lozada’s small gesture and the impatience and dislike he felt for Tomas Salcedo in the back of his eyes finally faded a little.
Eleanora Lozada smiled and said, “Professor Tomas, can I borrow two items of clothing, both Jonathan Tasis’ and Tulio Moralez’ clothes got wet yesterday and are still wet.”
Tomas Salcedo is probably the tallest of the male teachers here, and Tomas Salcedo appears to be about 1m78, but still, Eleanora Lozada is not sure that Jonathan Tasis and Tulio Moralez can fit into Tomas Salcedo’s clothes after all. Jonathan Tasis and Tulio Moralez are quite tall, Jonathan Tasis is estimated to be 6’5″.
Tomas Salcedo nodded and pulled out two suits from inside the house and said, “I bought these two large suits, President Jonathan should be able to wear them.”
Eleanora Lozada took the dress and made a gesture of thanks, “Thank you, Professor Tomas. ”
“No, Eleanora … I …”
Tomas Salcedo had something to say to Eleanora Lozada, but finally, in the presence of Jonathan Tasis, he also stopped his voice, “It’s nothing, go change.”
By the time Jonathan Tasis shook Eleanora Lozada’s hand and headed back to the lodge, Eleanora Lozada stared at Jonathan Tasis and finally smiled.
Jonathan Tasis looked at her suspiciously, his brow furrowed more, but his mouth was deliberately mocking, “You just smiled at the sight of me, and now you’re smiling again, Eleanora, am I amusing you that much?”
“Less narcissism.”
With that, Eleanora Lozada tapped Jonathan Tasis on the arm and pointed to the bedroom window, “Look at the window.”
Jonathan Tasis dutifully turned to look at his reflection in the window –
A big, tall man, 5’7″, wearing a much smaller, fluffy, mismatched light pink bathrobe with slippers.
The dress was all the more eccentric because the face was handsome and the figure was particularly erect, so it set off the dress.
Jonathan Tasis looked at the man in the window, pointed and asked Eleanora Lozada next to him, “This man, who is he, I don’t know him.”
Eleanora Lozada raised her hand and twisted his arm, “Who told you to go out in my gown? If you didn’t know better, you’d think you were some sort of…. Pervert! Pervert!”
As soon as Jonathan Tasis turned to look at Eleanora Lozada, he saw Tomas Salcedo standing in the bedroom doorway, not far down the long hallway, watching them.
Jonathan Tasis suddenly reached out and put his arms around Eleanora Lozada, bowing his head and whispering softly in Eleanora Lozada’s ear, “I thought you ran away again like last time, you ran away almost all year, Eleanora, don’t leave me again. I don’t want to waste any more time with you.”
Eleanora Lozada’s heart stirred at the thought of him running out to her in a hurry, putting on a robe because she feared he would leave again, and she said quietly, “Well, I won’t run anymore.”
Jonathan Tasis reached up and cupped her face, his eyes deep and focused on her, his thin lips hooked, “Run again, break your leg and lock you up.”
Eleanora Lozada was about to curse “pervert! pervert!” when her lips were covered by the man’s thin lips.
A rush of heat.
It was out, and there were teachers coming and going, and Eleanora Lozada reached up nervously and grabbed Jonathan Tasis by the collar of his shirt, his little face flushed and hot as a boiled shrimp.
The man kissed her for a long, long time, and only released Eleanora Lozada when the afterglow showed Tomas Salcedo walking away toward the bedroom, not far away, lost in thought.
Eleanora Lozada’s lips kissed with an overflowing redness.
Eleanora Lozada pushed her dress straight into Jonathan Tasis’ arms before biting her lip and blushing as she moved forward alone.
Jonathan Tasis smiled, knowing the little woman was shy.
When they arrived at the lodge, Jonathan Tasis threw Tomas Salcedo’s clothes overboard.
Eleanora Lozada asked suspiciously, “You’re not going to change in it?”
Jonathan Tasis sat on the edge of Eleanora Lozada’s bed with a somewhat arrogant tone, “I don’t want to wear it.”
“What are you going to do today?”
Jonathan Tasis slumped on his cot in the bedroom, “I’m not going out today.”
Eleanora Lozada: …
This man, that’s really enough.
“Then I’ll send the clothes to Mr. Tulio. ”
Jonathan Tasis emitted a “hmm” and then lay back on Eleanora Lozada’s cot and continued to rest his eyes.
