Third Person’s POV
“You look like you are twenty eight. What’s your real age, Arthur?” Giselle asked curiously while turning towards Arthur.
“Um, I turned 1032 this year” Arthur replied in a nonchalant tone.
He was really unbothered as well as confident for someone who was revealing that he had crossed a thousand years.
“WHAT! Now, I have a slight problem with you. Which serum do you use for glowing skin?” Giselle asked in a playful tone, but her face turned pale after hearing his reply.
“Human blood”, Arthur replied casually, but when he saw a change in Giselle’s expression, he added,
“Before you judge, it’s from a blood bank.”
Giselle wanted to comment but she shut her mouth for the sake of Nate’s happiness.
“By the way, which flight did you take to come here so early in the morning?” Giselle asked in hope to change the topic.
“We didn’t take flight. We used teleportation!” Natalie replied excitedly.
“No hell! How could you do this with your own mate? It makes you feel nauseous!” Giselle bombarded her with complaints again.
“You agree, right? Your head starts spinning and you feel like freaking basketball! Arthur added, showing an equal amount of frustration.
“YES! I told her millions of times not to use it for travelling”, Giselle said while pointing an accusing finger at Nate.
“Why don’t you listen to her!” Arthur looked at his mate disappointedly.
“She is so stubborn sometimes” Giselle narrowed her eyes at Natalie and shook her head.
“Tell me about it” Arthur also shook his head in disbelief.
Natalie was beyond angry with their continuous comments about her.
“Excuse me! You have come here to be friends ‘For me’ and now, you are both acting like best friends and talking bad about me on my face!” Natalie shouted in anger.
While talking, Natalie saw someone staring at Giselle and leaving the café hurriedly.
‘What the hell! Was it a fox? Should I put a spell on this place too?’ Nate thought confusedly.
Arthur seemed to read Natalie’s face as he also looked in the direction Natalie was looking at.
“Don’t worry, if someone tries to attack Giselle, we will protect her!” he said with a smile and held her hand. Natalie smiled back sweetly.
“I am so happy to finally see you happy like this”, Giselle said with hearts in her eyes.
Suddenly, Giselle’s cell phone started ringing.
“Who is it?” Natalie asked in excitement.
“It’s Kevin!” Giselle tried to get up to move away to receive her mate’s call, but Natalie made her sit next to her again.
“You are not going anywhere alone. Receive the call here”, Nate ordered in a sharp voice.
Arthur looked at Natalie disappointedly for speaking so harshly.
“Fine!” Saying that, Giselle received the call.
“Hello, Kevin?” Giselle spoke casually.
“Giselle, where are you? No, the important question is whom are you with?” Kevin asked. He sounded really agitated.
“Um. With Natalie and her mate. I told Riven that I was coming to meet her mate!” Giselle replied in a confused tone, listening to Kevin’s sudden angry voice.
“Yeah, did you tell Riven that her mate is a vampire?”
