Third Person’s POV:
“Stupido, your best friend is a bloody witch!” Natalie said, offended when Giselle underestimated her powers.
“I can use my magic to sense him and we will reach there in no time! If he is under a ten mile radius, then we don’t even need a locator spell! I can take you directly there”, Natalie said in a reassuring tone.
“How?” Giselle asked, baffled.
“Did you forget your brain at the lake house? Teleportation! We are going to use bloody ‘Teleportation!” Nate replied annoyedly while holding her shoulders and shaking her rigorously.
The moment Giselle heard the word, ‘Teleportation’, she removed Natalie’s arm instantly.
“Hell no! It makes me feel like….” Giselle started complaining but Natalie was already holding his hand.
“Go baby, Go! It’s going to be so much fun!” Natalie did the spell and Giselle began to see things revolving around them in circle.
In a fraction of seconds, they landed in the dark forest. Giselle was trying to stand on her feet. The world around her was still revolving. She felt nauseous and her mind was still sinning.
On the other hand, Natalie was absolutely fine and she was already looking around to search for Riven.
“Giselle, focus!” Natalie said while holding her hand again.
“What focus? I feel like puking here! I told you not to do this with me!” Giselle growled in fury.
“I knew it! I knew you will try to ruin everything by shouting like a mad dog. That’s why I have made a soundproof invisible bubble around us. So, no one can see or hear us!” Nate said while shaking her head.
“Thank God! Because I wanted to curse you!” Giselle growled in anger again.
Her growl had absolutely no effect on Nate, who was looking for any trace of Riven.
“Hey! That’s Riven”. Nate pointed towards a particular direction.
They saw Riven talking on the phone while moving straight towards the dense forest area.
Natalie held her arm and dragged her towards Riven.
“Yeah, I am coming. I am on my way”, Riven replied hurriedly.
Riven stopped for a while and looked straight at the place they were standing.
Both of them stopped moving like mannequins. Giselle even held her breath.
“Nate, are you sure your protection bubble is working?” Giselle asked while swallowing hard.
“A hundred percent! My spells always work!” Natalie replied, but she didn’t sound really confident in herself.
“Then why is mate staring at our souls right now?” Giselle asked in a frightened tone.
“I don’t know!” Nate replied worriedly.
Riven looked left and right like he was searching for something.
“Riven! Riven! Are you even listening…?” came a familiar female’s voice from the other side of the phone.
“Yeah, yeah! I am coming!” Riven said frustratedly and began to move again.
“Natalie, it was her. It was Erica! The girl on the other side of the phone”, Giselle said in a low voice, and a tear fell down on her cheek.
“What the bloody hell! Why is he talking to her? Where is he going at this time? Is he going to meet her?” Natalie asked so many questions but Giselle only gave pure and utter silence in answer.
Then suddenly Natalie realized the answer behind her silence.
“This guy is cheating on you? Should I melt him?” Nate screamed in fury. She wanted to burn Riven alive for cheating on her best friend.
“No, let it be! Let’s go home. I guess Stefan misunderstood him! Riven can never change!”
