Does he even notice anything when it comes to me?

Third Person’s POV:
“Nah, I will go home. You know, I can’t sleep without my pillow”, Natalie said while waving her hand casually.
“Will it be safe to go home at this time? It’s almost midnight!” They heard a deep husky voice coming from behind.
Giselle’s back was facing her mate. She again tried to use her sense of smell to recognize her mate. It was a luxurious smell of cherry blossom and Giselle instantly knew who it was.
“Riven!” She said cheerfully and turned around.
Giselle looked at him with excitement and expected him to show a sign of surprise or shock, but in return, she got nothing! He was expressionless as he could be!
Riven was so tired after everything that happened today that he was not in the state to notice that she recognized him without looking at him.
‘He didn’t notice that I recognized him? Does he even notice anything when it comes to me?’ Giselle thought disappointedly.
“Hey, sweetheart” Riven smiled, he just patted Giselle’s head and turned towards Natalie.
“You can stay in the guest room in this particular building. It’s really too late” Riven requested. His voice was filled with concern.
Natalie was also really tired but she didn’t think about staying because none of them except for Giselle asked her to stay. She never overstays her welcome.
“I insist” Riven said with a small smile.
“Okay, then. Show me the room”, Natalie said with a nervous smile.
“Come with me” Riven said, smiling.
He turned and began to walk, and Giselle and Natalie followed him like two small puppies.
Riven took them towards the left side of the pack house. The guest rooms of the main pack house building were luxurious, just like their own rooms.
“You can stay here as long as you want, Ms. Bennet. Please make yourself comfortable and let us know if you need anything”, Riven smiled while opening the master bedroom.
‘What the hell! Did he just smile at her?’ Giselle thought while narrowing her eyes suspiciously at Riven.
“Giselle, it’s too late, sweetheart. You must go to your room too. You really had a long day”, Riven said in a low voice while keeping his hand on her shoulder.
“Yeah, I am just leaving in five minutes” Giselle smiled at him.
“Okay then. I will take my leave. I don’t want to disturb you two best friends any longer”, Riven said with an infinitesimally smile.
“Good night, love. Good night, Ms. Bennet!” Riven wished both of them.
“Please call me Natalie or Nate”, Nate said with a sweet smile.
“Alright. Good night, Natalie”, Riven replied with a smile and left.
She hugged Natalie tightly and said, “You must take a rest, Nate. You used a lot of your power today. You must be exhausted.”
“You also went through an accident today. You will feel the pain once you lie down on the bed! Take a warm shower before going to bed”, Natalie replied while hugging her back.
“Okay, good night, witchy babe. I will meet you tomorrow morning”, Giselle said, smiling.
“Good night, my hot wolfy babe”, Natalie replied, smiling back.
After parting from her, Giselle directly went towards her own room. She was damn tired. She took a short warm shower, changed into her usual clothes, ‘not a bikini’ and fell on her bed due to exhaustion.
As right said by Natalie, as soon as her back rested on the bed, her entire body gave in and started paining like hell, the effect of the accident began to show. She felt like her body was going to break.
“Gosh! My whole body is paining!” She said to herself while changing sides.
Just by thinking about the pain caused by the accident, her mind went to Stefan.
‘He went through the same accident as me! I also made him swim the entire lake to search for me just before the accident, damn me! He then had to fight with an entire army of foxes and then Caleb also attacked him. He must be really tried. I can’t imagine how tired he would be! I need to check on him!’ Thinking that Giselle got up from bed.
She wore her slippers to leave for Stefan’s room and check on him.
When she was reaching near the door, she heard a gentle knock.
‘How could it be at this time?’
